Defining an entire decade of rock, grunge started the trend to move away from synth-pop, popular in the 80's, to a harder sound that emphasized the angst building in rebellion to 80's preppy style and trickle down economics. Guitar Hero 5 Controllers And Tracks So it is now official. I will have to buy Guitar Hero 5. All because of one of the new tracks released to the public. First 24 Tracks For Guitar Hero 5 Maybe it's just me and not being totally up on my current music or even my older music, but to me it seems that Activision and Vicarious Visions are going with some of the more obscure songs from artists to drive players to the game. More Peripherals!!!!  Yay!  I know that is what you're thinking as today Activision announced their fall releases of "Hero" franchises. Attempting to break into the hip-hop and R&B markets, they will be releasing DJ Hero, coming to you with special turntable peripheral.  No longer content with sticking to plastic instruments, they are moving into plastic electronics.  Couch Potato Hero will of course have plastic TV and remote as you sit on your couch playing a person sitting on a couch.  All kidding aside I really hope to see this at E3 in a few weeks and take it for a spin*. Well it seems Utah is not as conservative after all. Utah Governor Jon Huntsman (r) has vetoes video games and movie retail restriction bill.
