I don't know about you, but I am starting to get a little tired of these Naughty Bear videos that 505 keeps pumping out. Not that I don't enjoy them. Not that I don't find humor in them. It's just that I want to know what this game is all about and see some actual gameplay or purpose. To me it is like they are trying some kind of viral marketing plan that really was not well planned out. Mini Review: Resident Evil 5: Desperate Escape

This review has a few spoilers for Resident Evil 5 in it. This DLC takes place near the end of the game and talks about some major story parts. If you have yet to play Resident Evil 5 all the way through, you have been warned. Just when you think you have seen all you have of Resident Evil 5, Capcom adds in yet more to the story. Well at least they expand on the story by showing you what some of the other characters were up to while Chris and Sheva were off saving the world from the Zompocalypse. What it is though, is a new teaser for 505 Games' new title Naughty Bear. A cute, cuddly, Hack-n-Slash mayhem game with what looks like twisted humor on par with Fairytale Fights. Only a few weeks now until the new Gold Edition of Resident Evil hit's shelves for first time players of the game to get the biggest bang for their buck. Or if you are an old player, to enjoy the behind the scenes parts of the game for the first time. Primarily, in the instance of Lost in Nightmares, the weird flash backs that Chris has about Jill through out Resident Evil 5. Also done in a very interesting spoiler free way. Little Red In My Resident Evil 5

Well, the day is finally here where the entire console gaming community can get all those new features they threw into Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, without having to shell out the cash for a full game. The new DLC for the game is now available for download on the XBox 360 and PS3. The DLC includes all the build up to what happened to Jill in the cut scenes, and about an extra hour's worth of gameplay. Not to mention all the additional costumes and characters in the mutiplayer mode. To commemorate this day of the new release, Capcom has given us a video rendition of the old trailer for the game. Resident Evil 5 Gone Gold Again

Here we go again... again. This is where the year of "Capcom forgetting how to count again" starts. At least this time when it starts it has a nice new video showcasing some of the stuff that will make us shell out more cash for games we already own. Like say, Sheva in a little red ridding hood costume and Chris looking like something from a Mad Max film. Not to mention all the extra story that justifies RE5 going into another gold phase only a year after the first version came out. From this video, I can actually see the worth in getting the DLC when it becomes available, but not a full new version of the disc. Read More...

You Are To Blame For The RE5 Alternative Edition DLC

Just to prove that Capcom listens to it's community members, and that DLC seems to be the "wanted" format of the future, the new edition of Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition will be just that, DLC. In case you missed the official announcement, this is the edition that comes with Motion Controller support for the PS3 and about two hours of extra gameplay for the title. It was also originally slated to be a hard copy sale and not a downloadable add-on. When they stated it was going to be a whole new set of discs, this cause some upset for people who have already picked up the game at $60 or $90 and purchased the $5 add-on. Read More...

Resident Evil Now For An Alternative Lifestyle

Just to now follow up with their lack of counting ability, Capcom has just let loose a teaser for Resident Evil 5.2 Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition. A game that seems to be much like what Resident Evil Director's Cut was to Resident Evil. A new version of the game with a few little extra added in.
