Grand Theft Auto V Online Is Getting Festive Without Heists
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Grand Theft Auto V Online still has no Heists but you will be able to have epic snowball fights while wearing ugly sweaters While we are still waiting for our Heists in Grand Theft Auto V Online it looks like Rockstar is at least giving us a few new things to bring us back into the game over the holidays. Today the developer announced that they are rolling out some fun updates for Grand Theft Auto V Online with a bunch of Festive Surprises. We can hope it will be a sneaking way to add in the mode we've been waiting forever to get into the online experience but as of right now it is nowhere listed among the additions and timed exclusives we will be seeing over the holidays in Grand Theft Auto V Online. Telltale Is Working On Minecraft: Story Mode Now?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Telltale and Mojang tried to hide a Minecraft: Story Mode announcement in a game but it looks like we are getting it Hey look, just what all those Minecraft players want; a story mode. No? Well Telltale and Mojang are now officially working on Minecraft: Story Mode just for all of you out there who truly want some kind of story behind all of the mindless hours of tree punching. My whole experience with Minecraft should be obviously only based on what was shown on South Park so I have no clue if there is more to the game than that. All I know is that there is no Minecraft 2 announcement but a Minecraft: Story Mode announcement here. Read More...

Evolve's Third Monster Finally Shows Her Sneaky Face
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
The third monster for Evolve has been revealed as well as the dates for the next beta on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC Merry Early X-mas to me and all of those Evolve fans out there as we have the third monster that we will be hunting down or hunting with this coming February. To quote Turtle Rock Studios on this, "She’s a space alien ninja Monster who warps around the battlefield, ripping into her enemies with her blade-claws. She can hit – then run – before you even see her coming." That's just the description though. Read More...

Play A Mission From Dying Light Right Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We have a new interactive trailer for Dying Light that allows you to wade through the zombie hordes way before release date from your PC If you can't wait until January to play a mission for Dying Light then you are a bit in luck. While you will not be picking up a controller or controlling the main character directly, Techland and Warner Bros. are hooking us up with a cool interactive trailer to play through. We've seen these many times over in the past so it isn't anything new as far as marketing but it does let us choose our own adventure in Dying Light right now for one mission. Read More...

In January We Will Be Seeing How Life Is Strange
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange's release date, pricing structure, and first real trailer for the game have been released from DontNod and Square Enix Life Is Strange. Not just the name of the game but in reality Life Is Strange. Like for the fact that I had heard the name of game tossed around so often but no one would give any real details or talk about it. At least to me directly. Now we have the first real trailer for the game as well as all the ins and outs on how it is being released on January 30th 2015 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. The Day/Night Cycle Of Dying Light Is Intense
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Dying Light shows off the vast differences between playing the game during the day and night For Dying Light there have been two huge things mentioned as selling points time and time again. This first being the Free Running that Techland has looked to perfect in the game and the second being that of how viscous the Day/Night cycle will make the game. You know, the whole zombies getting crazier, stronger, faster, and smarter once the sun goes down in Harran. Just in case Techland and Warner Bros. Read More...

A new trailer for Grand Theft Auto V Online confirms that Heists are still on the way for the online experience If you were looking to be able to play Heists online for Grand Theft Auto V you may need to wait just a bit longer. I know we've all been waiting almost a year or so but at least we have confirmation that Rockstar North is still trying to get the mode into Grand Theft Auto V Online for us all…for free. We can't really complain about something that is free can we? Well of course we can but it really is a douchey move when all is said and done. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
An English dubbed version of the Final Fantasy XV trailer from the TGS 2014 has been released for those non-Japanese speaking fans It only took about three months but there is finally an English version of the Final Fantasy XV trailer. Well more an English dubbed trailer so all of you Anime snobs can get ready to piss and moan. None the less Square Enix has given all of the fans of the franchise who don't speak Japanese a look at the trailer to put a few things into context for Final Fantasy XV. I'm glad I'm no snob and prefer my dubs as now I have words to place alongside the amazing looking title still in the works for the PS4 and Xbox One. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
During the Capcom cup Street Fighter V was shown to the public for the first time and we had a new character added to the roster Street Fighter V was named a PS4/PC exclusive at the PlayStation Experience a week ago. This last weekend now marks the first bit of gameplay as well as the first public match of the game being played. This of course all took place during the 2014 Capcom Cup in San Francisco, CA last Saturday (12/13/14). This makes sense that these fans would get to see everything in action but lucky for everyone else that the event was streamed online so none of us had to miss out. Read More...

Story Time: Battlefield Hardline
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
The official story trailer for Battlefield Hardline's single player mode has been released and it is pretty much Cops without editing If there has been one game that has had a rough go with its marketing as of late it is Battlefield Hardline. Not that the PR teams over at EA and Visceral Games are not doing a good jobs. All of the real world events that are going on well after Battlefield Hardline was designed and even into a beta experience are making it harder and harder to be "sensitive" to everything and everyone. I applaud the whole team for rolling with the punches as well as they can in a world where virtual cops and robbers is no longer a P. Read More...

Let's Talk About Uncharted 4: A Thief's End & The Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End had some new gameplay shown off during the PlayStation Experience so let us talk about it and where we think Naughty Dog is at with the game By now any and all fans of Uncharted should have seen the latest Uncharted 4: A Thief's End gameplay trailer. It is how the PlayStation Experience opened and it has been kind of the talk of the town ever since. More so since it was one of the few PS4 games that fans at the event were not able to get directly hands on with after the keynote. Naughty Dog didn't seem to let me down but it did seem to cause many people to call afoul based on the NOT ACTUAL GAMEPLAY trailer from E3. Read More...

Your First Intro Into Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
The intro cinematic for Dying Light has been released from Techland and Warner Bros. Let's spoil that opening first few minutes Earlier in the week we were given the story trailer for Dying Light and its aim was supposedly to help us all understand what is going on in the game's story mode. It actually added many more questions than answers which is usually a good thing but it still feels like Techland and Warner Bros. are keeping it all coy about what we will truly be experiencing when Dying Light launches. At least in the way of story. Read More...

PlayStation Experience Hands On — Resident Evil Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
While At The PlayStation Experience I Was Able To See Resident Evil Revelations 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just A Trailer. It is coming out here in a few months but is it going to be worth our time and money We've had the release date for the first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 already but we've yet to have a whole lot of time to have hands on with how this new game will handle. Luckily it was on the floor of PlayStation Experience for all of us to give a quick run through of what we've seen time and time again already. I was lucky enough to wait to get a chance to see if Resident Evil Revelations 2 is going to be more like the current versions of the franchise or if it really does go back its root or more along with Resident Evil 4.
