We Have A Behemoth Of A Reveal For Evolve

The Evolve Monster for the expansion pack has been named, revealed, and shown why bigger is always better I thought we were going to have to wait much longer to finally see the fourth monster for Evolve to be announced and detailed. This would be the monster that we were all asked to help name and we might be able to see something shortly after the launch of the game next month. I guess the name was the last thing that Turtle Rock needed to finalize the new monster as here we go with the announcement of the DLC monster coming for all who pre-order. I'm sure it will be available on the PS4 and Xbox One sometime after launch but as of now that is how you get a hold of this new monster. Read More...

The PC Specs Needed To Make Evolve Look Evolved

Turtle Rock Studios have released the PC specs for Evolve so you can be sure it looks amazing next month Hopefully you were able to get in on the latest Evolve beta over the weekend and have helped 2K and Turtle Rock make sure that their servers are going to handle the massive amounts of traffic on February 10th. Evolve Big Alpha Beta Retrospective

Evolve is set shaping up to be the game of the year… perhaps one of the best games of the decade. I was able to participate in the Big Alpha and I thoroughly enjoyed playing. Turtle Rock Studios known best as the creator of the Left 4 Dead is set to release their new game Evolve on February 10th, 2015. In Time For The Next Evolve We Have The Intro Cinematic

The Evolve intro cinematic has been released online to get all those hunters read for the next big beta on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC In only a few more days we will all be helping Turtle Rock and 2K test out those servers for Evolve. Hopefully you were in on the Big Alpha so you had a nice easy time getting set up for the next beta for the Xbox One or the server stress test for the PS4 and PC. If not good luck and keep an eye out for a whole bunch of new gameplay to be hitting after the beta is over as we are now moving closer to the launch of Evolve. The Nyko Data Bank May Be A Cheaper Storage Solution For The PS4

The Nyko Data Bank was shown off at CES 2015 and adds an extra option to the internal storage for the PS4 in the way of 3.5" Drive If you've thought that only 500GB for your PS4 was a bit on the low side then you may want to keep your eye out for the Nyko Data Bank sometime later this year. The Nyko Data Bank, pictured below, is a nice little add-on for the PS4 that will allow you to swap out the system's hard drive for a 3.5" drive as opposed to the 2.5" that we are currently stuck with. LyteShot, a new gaming platform, was shown off at CES 2015 and has had its Kickstarter campaign kicked off This may be the first time you've heard of LyteShot but I've heard a few things and had the pleasure of seeing things up close and personal at CES here this week. Nothing in action outside of the below Kickstarter video for the gaming platform but if you can use your imagination, as the platform wants, then you can see how this could be the next great addition to gaming; both video and physical. Star Fox Could Be Playable At E3 2015

Shigeru Miyamoto stated in a recent interview with Smosh Games that Star Fox for the Wii U could have a playable demo at E3 2015 If you are a Star Fox and also on the list for going to E3 this year then you may be able to line up and play the game. At least if you are lucky enough to get in and willing to sit in the crazy long line that is going to inevitably be plaguing the Nintendo booth given the latest little tidbit revealed on Smosh Games. That being from Shigeru Miyamoto responding from the age old question of "when will we get to play [insert game]?" Sony Is Trying To Make Up For That PlayStation Outage

Sony has just announced how it is going to try and appease all of those gamers who were affected by the PlayStation Network outage over the holiday week If you were like me then you were most likely not able to play online games on your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 over the holiday week as some asshats thought it funny to take down both the PSN and XBL. Not only did it make things hard for all of those gamers who received their new consoles for the holidays but it also forced people to leave their families to fix the issue. Oh The BioShock Film That Could Have Been…

Concept art for the canceled BioShock movie has been released online showing off the direction that the film could have taken If there was one franchise that could have made the jump into films easily it was BioShock. The environments, the characters, the story, and well everything about it could have easily made the jump. Unfortunately at this time BioShock will not be gracing the silver screen in a film sort of way. The project was canned a while back due to having the funds slashed from $200 million to $80 million. Looks Like That PlanetSide 2 Beta Is Going Live Soon

Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley quietly announced that the PlanetSide 2 beta could be live early in January 2015 Good news for those hoping for the PlanetSide 2 PS4 beta to be coming sooner than later. It looks like everything is on track for said beta to go live here in a few weeks. Right around the same time that the H1Z1 will be coming to Steam for early access. They have had a long 30 year run that has been pushed and promoted pretty much all year.
