Robin Moves To Action With The Latest Injustice 2 Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 During the first livestream for Injustice 2 we had a chance to see Robin in action as well as other character's new Injustice 2 super moves Yesterday we had the first livestream event for Injustice 2 with the hopes of many more before launch. For those who missed out on all of it during the MKX craze, this is where part of the NetherRealm Studios team gets together to show us new characters, character breakdowns, and other gameplay features for their games to not only hype but also inform us all. Unlike many of the other streams they have done though, it looks like there wasn't any new character to be shown off for Injustice 2 nor any solid breakdowns but at least we did get to see more than just a glimpse of Robin in action as he now has a solid gameplay trailer to show you some of the new moves and action in store for us. While the video clip here isn't completely telling of how Robin will be in Injustice 2, it is something new and it does sow off that there is still something going on in the universe where swords to the gut don't kill beings without super powers. Soon We Will All Be Lost In The Horrors Of The Crow's Eye
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The Crow's Eye A teaser for The Crow's Eye has been released to show off the dark environments of The Crow's Eye that we'll have to survive and solve puzzles in In the mix of all of the big horror going on today in gaming, let's take a moment to look at a smaller title that will be coming soon here in the way of The Crow's Eye. This is a new little title for the PC that will be launching here in Q1 of this year from 3D2 Entertainment and Nkidu Games that places us in a shutdown medical university with a very dark history. So dark that it was shut down in the game's world due to a lot of unexplained disappearances of students, police officers, and professors. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/16/17 — 1/20/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 21st of January 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Put one more week in video games in the bag and then get ready for even more to come here in the next few weeks. Not only do we have some solid titles releasing like Resident Evil 7 and some new Early Access and betas with Conan Exiles and For Honor respectfully, but it looks like the ball has begun to roll on many other of those video games that we've been waiting to hear more about. Hells, we will also hopefully have a better view at Call Of Cthulhu and Werewolf: The Apocalypse during the big event from Focus Home at the start of February. It totally looks like things are trying to be made right in 2017 given how last year rolled out. Read More...

The Lines Are Being Redrawn For Injustice 2's Factions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A new story trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped and it shows off the big bad of Injustice 2 as well as quite a few new characters to join the fight We spoke of this yesterday and now we are here with a new look at Injustice 2 and confirmation that Darkseid will be a pre-order bonus mixed in there. What we didn't speak on was the fact that we would be seeing a new story trailer for the game from NetherRealm Studios and many new characters being added into the roster; even though we are still waiting for character breakdowns now. With all of that though, we now know that Injustice 2 is going to ride on from where Injustice left off and then throw in a whole lot of curve-balls to shake up not only the game but the world. It Looks Like Injustice 2 Will Be Bringing Darkseid In Via DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 It's been spotted via the Injustice 2 pre-order page that Darkseid will be a playable DLC character for Injustice 2 at launch Last week we got official word that Injustice 2 would be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th here. Then we ended the week with a nice little tease from NetherRealm Studios that we would be getting another big reveal this week as well. But before all of that, it looks like we have another "leak" of sorts as the pre-order page for Injustice 2 was spotted listing out another character coming to the game via some day-one DLC for those who pre-order the game. That character has been seen in the first title in a smaller way but now it looks like Darkseid will be mixed into the fight and not just via a level transition animation. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/9/17 — 1/13/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 14th of January 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site I don't think there is a gamer out there that can claim this wasn't a huge week for all things video games. There was something for everyone this week; even though some of the news was a sad note for a huge portion of gamers out there. With this I am talking about the cancellation of Scalebound, but at least we had all kinds of great news for the Nintendo Switch, For Honor, and Resident Evil 7 to name a few. We are getting into a lot of fun waters here and a lot of great titles are on their way so we know that things should be getting crazier here. Read More...

Injustice 2 Has An Official Release Date Now…For The Americas…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 The Injustice 2 release date rumors have been put to rest as Injustice 2 now has an official release date for the Americas It looks like all of those rumors for Injustice 2 releasing on March 28th have been put to rest. Not only has NetherRealm Studios' game director stepped out to state that the dates listed online were false, but he went one step further and gave us all the actual date; something that we wish would happen every time a huge rumor crops up. None the less though, it looks like Injustice 2 will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th of this year. At least that is the release date in the American region of the world as the other regions were left out of all of this release date fun. Read More...

More Signs Are Hinting That Final Fantasy VII Remake's First Episode Will Release In 2017
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy VII Remake Another listing for Final Fantasy VII Remake indicates that we actually may see the first episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake sometime this year Here we go with just a bit more pointing to the fact that we may be seeing Final Fantasy VII Remake at some point this year. This isn't the first time something has popped up like this of course but to the dismay of Square Enix it looks like retailers just can't stop letting things slip out a bit earlier than they should. Like I said, this one also shows that we could be seeing the first episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake this year as there are now options to pre-order it all right now. At least if we take what just popped up on the Australian EB Games website. Read More...

Mass Effect: Andromeda Has New Gameplay Fresh From CES 2017
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Mass Effect New gameplay for Mass Effect: Andromeda was promised out of the NVidia CES press conference and we got new Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay now We had the promise and it was delivered as we now have some new Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay to look at here right out of CES 2017. It does look like Bioware had originally wanted to reveal the launch date for the game at the event as the people showing off the new gameplay looked psyched to see the March 21th date on screen but we won't let that distract us from the gameplay here. That is why we are all here right not and that is what we are going to get. All Mass Effect: Andromeda and without all of the bells and whistles that usually go on at these kinds of events that EA usually puts on. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
CES New hardware and partnerships for VirZOOM at CES 2017 have led us to a place where the first vSports event could be held at CES this year It is a rare instance that we have something here that is about health here but seeing as gaming is getting mixed in we had to have a look at the VirZOOM during CES this year. More so when you look at it as we are getting some of the first vSporting events out here as well. That was at least one of the goals that aimed to be met with the mixture of VR, a stationary bike, and the VirZOOM system all mixed in. Read More...

Even More Rumors About Beyond Good & Evil 2 Now & Claim It's A Switch Timed Exclusive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Beyond Good & Evil More rumors for Beyond Good & Evil 2 have appeared and they claim that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch This does seem like the year of the rumor as new rumors have cropped up around Beyond Good & Evil 2 and these ones point that the game will be a timed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch right from the game's launch. Don't get your nickers in a bunch just yet as this is all still rumor and nothing official from Ubisoft. It does come from someone who has had a solid track record with leaking Switch info in the past but the latest for Beyond Good & Evil 2 could seem like a little much here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The Steam Awards The winners of The Steam Awards have been announced with all of The Steam Awards winners being selected by users for the first time ever Here we go with the start of the new year with The Steam Awards first ever announced winners. While many other outlets and award shows were going on well before the end of the year, it looks like there was one that waited right up to December 31st to be able to give all games a chance. At least those that released on PC via Steam as The Steam Awards were all selected by the users during the big Steam Winter Sale and not some hand-picked panel of judges. These are all by gamers and for gamers while the awards actually go to the developer behind our favorite games that have come out. Read More...

The Obligatory 2016 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2016 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here's a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had some movies based on video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It of course isn't a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/19/16 — 12/23/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of December 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site It sure has been one cray week here for all of our video games; not like this isn't almost always the case. Generally this is when it all slows down and everyone is grasping for something to bring you. Hells, I've seen short tweets make headline news around the web during this time and we've tried to not dig into all of that. Instead we just dug in and were still able to find some great updates for Resident Evil and Watch Dogs 2 for you. Read More...
