So it seems that the soon to-be-released game Gears of War 2 has been given the honor, that was once bestowed upon Halo 3, to have its own Zune! It has been confirmed that this glossy black Zune, whose retail price has been set at $280, will feature a laser etched Gears of War logo on the back and comes with 244 GoW bric-a-brac. Resistance 2 Beta Taking Sign Ups So I spotted this in the late hours of the night last night, I just got around to being able to post about it now. After playing the first Saints Row for more hours than I can possibly count, I’ve been extremely excited since the announcement of Saints Row 2 coming in 2008. After one delay, which has pushed the game back to October 14 2008, I about lost my mind. But I would not have to wait that long to at least get a test run, and this is where PAX 2008 comes into play. Sure, we are finally seeing a small break in the ridiculous gas prices but that doesn't mean anyone in their right mind would turn down free gas. EA games hears your plea, they care, they really do. That's why they are putting on an event called "Petrol for the People". Petrol for the People is a a promotional event for the game Mercenaries 2. Rock Band 2: Rated No not and ERSB rating, already knew that would be T, but they rated the difficulty for the songs that are coming out on the disc at launch date. They also were nice enough to break it down by the different categories as well as overall band. No listing of how difficult, like on the current Rock Band Store, but early images show that is how the songs will be sorted out and displayed from the get go in the game. But at least here, you can prep yourself for what is to come. I do like seeing Tenacious D down in the ranks of Megadeth and Judas Priest in the level of difficulty. Read More...

If you're like me and own a copy of The Orange Box for 360, you're probably upset that the PC version gets all the good updates. But alas, Valve is finally bringing all the updates delivered via Steam to the Xbox Live Marketplace. New class-specific Achievements, new unlockable weapons for the Pyro, Medic and Heavy, new gameplay modes and new maps. Doug Lombardi, Valve marketing director, said that he wanted to build up a massive update for 360 users before delivering. But like a lot of good things there's always a price to pay. Read More...

Valve announced today that there will be a "Heavy Update" in TF2 next week. it is said to be "the largest update to Team Fortress 2 since it was first released". It will bring with it new maps, new Achievements, new game modes and a special installment of the "Meet the Team" video series. Walker: The Pyro is the focus on the next pack. We're making some significant changes to the base Pyro class & weaponry, in addition to the three unlockables and thirty-five achievements. We've never been terribly happy with the Pyro, in particular with her shallower skill curve than other combat classes.
