2K Games has released a slew of trailers in the past few weeks in anticipation for the release of WWE 2K15 In part one of the making of the WWE 2K15 videos 2K details how they integrated the acclaimed scanning technology from the NBA games into WWE 2K15. The video also features some WWE superstars doing mo-cap for the game including wrestling moves and facial expressions. It looks like Visual Concepts is taking great strides to innovate on the already successful formula. 2K also released the first two entrance videos for WWE 2K15. Read More...

The Walking Dead Season 2 has come to a close and it is time to let you all know what I thought about the latest episode and the whole season That is a wrap on season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale. Episode five has been released and there is No Going Back now. See what I did there? I was lucky enough to be able to sit down and play through the final episode and give it the old gamer review. I'll try to keep things as spoiler free as possible but in the mix I will warn that there are a few spoilers I feel I had to touch upon as they were either things I loved or hated about the conclusion here. The achievement list and a demo for Forza Horizon 2 has been announced from Microsoft and Playground Games Microsoft has announced that a demo is incoming for the upcoming racing game Forza Horizon 2. The demo will be available on September 16th on the Xbox One. Microsoft has also released the full list achievements that you will be racing for come September 30th. Forza Horizon 2 is developed by Playground Games and is a spinoff of the core Forza franchise. I really enjoyed the first Horizon and found myself playing way more than the core games in the series. The release dates and trailer for The Walking Dead from Telltale has been released and it is looking more grim than ever This has to be one of the shortest turn around for a new episode for this season of The Walking Dead from Telltale. I'm not going to complain at all as it is high time that we get to see how this whole thing will end and hopefully what to speculate on for the previously announced Season Three. We have been able to watch Clementine grow both in age and in character so it should be interesting to see how all of that pans out as we move into the season's end of The Walking Dead. We Sit Down And Review Metro 2033 Redux. It's been over four years since it first released so how well does it upgrade? When we think of HD re-masters of games we generally look at them as being quick cash grabs instead of allowing the developers to truly show off their vision of the game they originally built. Metro 2033 Redux is another title in the mix that may not have seen the full light due to limitations on hardware on both ends of the spectrum. A 12 minute gameplay video for Battlefield Hardline has been released showing off the campaign mode and some new gadgets to use Up until now we have seen mainly the multiplayer aspect of Battlefield Hardline. We even had a nice long beta for the damned thing just after E3 this year. Well it would seem that EA and Visceral decided to show off the single player aspect of Battlefield Hardline at Gamescom this year. Of course this was all done via the PC version of the game so we can expect it to look amazing but any who played the beta know that it looks just about as nice on the consoles. It may not be 37 minutes but it is a nice chunk of change that shows off all the gameplay for Bloodborne in action. As well as a bit on that Regain System that was talked about during the convention proper. I have yet to actually get hands on with the game. If you were fortunate enough to make it out to Gamescom you may have had a chance to sit down and see the gameplay demo and see firsthand. We are still trying to recover and get everything we can out there for you readers. There were some ups, like Until Dawn getting revitalized for the PS4, and then there were some downs, like Rise Of The Tomb Raider being slated as an Xbox exclusive for a bit of time. Then again that is only bad news for those out there planning on playing the game on a PlayStation or PC so you can take that as you will for now. Not only was there a new trailer for Bloodborne out of Gamescom but some new information on the combat system and how it differs from other IPs When I first saw Bloodborne at E3 I was under-impressed with what I saw. Visually Bloodborne looked spectacular but as far as gameplay and combat went it looked nothing like the announcement trailer or other bits of CGI that was being shown. What I was expecting was fast paced and not along the lines of Demon's Souls' kind of combat for this PS4 title. Luckily there was a bit more of an explanation for Bloodborne at Gamescom here recently and it is starting to make more sense now. Read More...

Two new gameplay demos for Assassin's Creed Rogue have been released and show off the new and upgraded features of naval combat So it looks like Assassin's Creed Rogue is coming out strong at Gamescom here and with its imminent release date approaching the dev team took time to show off the new and improved naval combat system for the game. This was an amazing feature that I thought made its real debut in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag but it looks like Ubisoft is just pushing things further by taking us into uncharted waters, pun intended, with different locations that we can sail in. A new CGI trailer for Alien Isolation has been released from Gamescom showing off the terror that Creative Assembly is aiming for There shouldn't be any mistake in knowing that Alien Isolation is being slated more to the horror and suspense side of the franchise than the pure action schlop we've been getting. I've played through a bit of the game at conventions past and while it is now Silent Hills teaser it is a down right suspenseful title. At least that is the case based on the little bit I have played for Alien Isolation but I am sure that SEGA and Creative Assembly want to instill that fear that the franchise had so long ago.
