As surprises come, a revitalization of Mortal Kombat was one thing I was not expecting until just before E3. You know when the crazy short popped up online followed by the new teaser trailer for Mortal Kombat. You know what I am talking about. If you didn't you would not have clicked on this article. With all that buzz just days before the event you would expect to have something to show at E3 for it, and boy did they. Nothing playable for anyone on the show floor, but those lucky enough to have a meeting or willing to stand in line for over an hour to get in to the 15 minute showing got a great glimpse of what is going on with the new Mortal Kombat game. E3 2010 Hands-On: Final Fantasy XIV

Now here is a title that I was overly excited to get to look at, and that is all I planned on happening this year at E3. Little did I know we would actually get to play hands on this up-and-coming bad-ass "sequel" in the Final Fantasy franchise. Hands-on with two of the major components for an MMO to boot: the character creation and a bit of the combat system. Let me break them down into two sections for you, with pictures. Hidden in the back corner, deep within the confines of the EA booth was a small Church of Unitology. Within the church was a plethora of wooden pews with "hymn" books placed before them. As we were ushered in, the electronic candles dimmed and we were greeted with a short introduction. Pleasantries dispatched, we hopped right into the game play of Dead Space 2. At this year's E3 it seem like everyone and their mother had some sort of shooter that will be coming out later this holiday season or sometime in 2011. Yager Productions and 2K games is no exceptions where they showcase Spec Ops: The Line for the first time. Since it was announced through a need to Platinum God Of War III, God of War: Ghost of Sparta has been a title on my radar with a HUGE blip. It is God of War game, after all, but it is also a God of War on the PSP again. Not that the first wasn't great, but will a PSP follow up to the superstar God of War III be as good? Zurg Invasion of Toy Story 3 Video Game

No, I'm not talking the Zerg from Starcraft. They spell their name with an 'u' and not an 'e'. Not to mention they are a lot less "emperor"y. So if you are still thinking that, then you need to re-watch the films or the below video clip. A clip that shows how you will be able to play Buzz's archenemy in the PS3 version of Toy Story 3: The Video Game. Who Is The King Of Naughtiness?

I would say I am, with my book having over 18,000 ways to be naughty and generally lash out at the filth of the world. But runner up I will have to tip my hat to Naughty Bear. Although there has been some controversy over the rules in his Book Of Naughty™, Naughty Bear at least lives up to his book unlike all the posers out there that say they follow the Book of Naughty™ or the Guide To Being More Like Hades™. Square Enix Announces 4 New Digital Downloads

Square Enix is pumping titles out like BP's oil leak. Square Enix just announced that they will have four new digital titles. Two for WiiWare and two for XBox Live and PlayStation 3. WiiWare is getting The Tales of Bearsworth Manor™: Puzzling Pages™ and The Tales of Bearsworth Manor™: Chaotic Conflicts™. While XBox Live and PlayStation 3 are getting NecroMachina™ and Space Invaders: Infinity Gene™. Along with these titles, Square Enix will be announcing two new iPhone titles as well. Read More...
