Reptile Slithers Into The Mortal Kombat X Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of January 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
Reptile has been confirmed for Mortal Kombat X now and we have a nice little trailer showing off the lizard kombatant melting faces We have the first of two new characters for Mortal Kombat X to be revealed this week and it is Reptile. Yet another character that you would have been a no-brainer for NetherRealm to add into the Mortal Kombat X mix and now we have it confirmed. Not only confirmed but a bit in motion and showing off some great new moves as well as a literal face melting opening for a fatality. Why we only get the opening for these fatalities is still a little bit of a mystery for me but I'd assume that it is to try and keep 1. Read More...

Life Is Strange Shows A Better Butterfly Effect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of January 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
The second developer diary for Life Is Strange is out and shows off Max's rewind ability we will use in the game Life Is Strange is not too far off from having its first episode hit our homes. I feel like I have said that a lot this week. One of the things that I know I've been curious on for the game has been the rewind mechanic that we will all get to employ in the game. This is kind of one of the core things and builds off one of the best mechanics in Dontnod's previous title Remember Me. It was used to remix memories there and in Life Is Strange it looks like it is there to help us remix and alter the timeline. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Dying Light Developers, Techland, take to playing the game in co-op mode to show us what we can expect from the game here next week With Dying Light only a few days out from launch now, at least here in North America, it is high time for the excitement to pique here. It's another zombie game for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so why shouldn't we be all excited? I think… Anyways, one of the modes that have been announced and barely shown off has been the co-op for Dying Light. To try and remedy all of that Techland took to their PCs and put together a nice little video showing off the "fun" we will be having when we go co-op with Dying Light next week. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Telltale has released a new trailer for Game Of Thrones Episode 2 — The Lost Lords and with it comes the release dates So the whole theory that the Game Of Thrones video game from Telltale was going to sync up with the premier of the next season of the Game Of Thrones TV show is going to be thrown out the window. That is unless we get hit with a few episodes back to back real quick as the next episode, The Lost Lords, for the video game is slated to hit on February 3rd now. That's right, no Game Of Thrones episode for January at all as we now have to finish out the two month wait for this new episode. Read More...

A bit of new gameplay for the DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition has been released to show more of the 60fps goodness Last year we had the announcement that DmC Devil May Cry was coming to the PS4 and Xbox One via a Definitive Edition. Quantic Dream Is Announcing Something New On January 28th
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Quantic Dream has a new teaser site up and ominous Tweets about a possible new IP being announced on January 28th 2015 Quantic Dream has a nice little list of titles under their belt and it looks like there may be one more getting added into the mix. Most recently they have made huge splashes on the PS3 with Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Both great titles in my opinion even though most other outlets and gamers would greatly disagree. They've also made another title that was well received on the PS2, Xbox, and PC called Indigo Prophecy if you are still here trying to find a reason to care about this new little tease from Quantic Dream. Here's Everything You Need To Know About Evolve If You Didn't Know
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Evolve has been released to show anyone not in the know all of the ins and outs of Evolve's gameplay By now most of us should have a good grasp on Evolve and how the game is going to handle as well as a bit on the story for the game. We've had multiple betas and a plethora of videos from Turtle Rock so if you are out of the loop then you might have been under one of those rocks that the Goliath throws. I really don't know what other reason there could be as even on this site we've covered a lot on Evolve and I know we are not the only ones doing it. I wouldn't be surprised if you did a basic Google search with "Evolve" as the only string and not getting some results. Read More...

Let's all riot until the DLC comes to the PS3, PS4, and PC too. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell. Is this the Saints Row expansion we want to Sloth around and play or Wrath out on? Here's Our Review Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell was teased and then fully announced back in August during PAX Prime weekend. Many thought that this was going to be the next full Saints Row title to get added to the mix but later we found out that it was a standalone title that was to follow Saints Row IV. This kind of things has worked for other titles (inFAMOUS: First Light) but does it do the franchise justice? Do we want a Saints Row title in hell? Read More...
