Ukyo Is Here For The Fight & The Ladies In Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of April 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here to be looked at and looks to add some extra weird bits to Samurai Shodown in the longer run It is that time again to take a look at one more character coming to Samurai Shodown this June and this time it is Ukyo. A ladies man type of character that looks to use a quick draw technique to take down all of his foes. It all seems a bit odd to state that way, but it is how SNK has offered it up and showed us in the latest trailer we have. Sadly, it is another trailer that does not give much in the way of context on how Ukyo will actually function in Samurai Shodown, but it is something to look at an speculate on. Read More...

The Thinbloods Are Coming To Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The first “clan” we get to play in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here as we will be starting as a Thinblood in Bloodlines 2 Here we go with the first clan introduction for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 and this one… is not truly a clan. Fans of the tabletop version of the game can see where I am going with this but for the rest out there, we are looking at the Thinbloods in the game. A more modern style vampire that is missing all of the fun and ancient parts of all of the other clans but still a vampire. It is something new to look at from Hardsuit Labs for Bloodlines 2 though, so we will at least take that. Read More...

The Full Package Of Saints Row: The Third Is Hitting The Switch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Saints Row Saints Row: The Third — The Full Package is heading to the Nintendo Switch for those who need more Saints Row in their mobile life It only took eight years, but it looks like Saints Row: The Third is making its way onto a Nintendo system. You most likely figured it out that said system would be the Switch as it would be a bit weird for Deep Silver to bring it to any of the others, but sometimes gamers do not think clearly. That does not change the fact that a Saints Row title will be coming to the Switch on May 10th and bringing all of the fun we know of the series and game in a mobile way. You know, because the console is something you can go mobile with and bring all of the raunchy humor along for the ride. Read More...

It Is Time To Meet Nakoruru From The Upcoming Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown A new video series for Samurai Shodown is here to take us through the characters of Samurai Shodown and here is the first one There have been looks at the characters for the upcoming Samurai Shodown already, but none of them have featured one character specifically at a time thus far. This is apparently an issue out there that needs to be rectified. How are we supposed to get an understanding of a specific character in the game if SNK will not just show them doing their thing? Final Fantasy A new trailer is here for the Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 remasters to get you excited for their re-release in a week In just over a week the remaster for Final Fantasy X/X-2 will be out there for the Xbox One and Switch. Yet one more of the Square Enix titles that did not show on the platforms the first few times around, but now that we have the technology and exclusivities gone they can. That would, at least, be the thought behind this as the PlayStation fans have been hogging all of the Final Fantasy goodness for a while now. The same can be said for other entries into their other franchises. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 11 Has Three More Characters To Show For The Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat More characters for Mortal Kombat 11 are shown off with one of them being a new character to the Mortal Kombat franchise in general As we loom ever closer to the release of Mortal Kombat 11, we have even more characters getting the announcement and showcasing. Most of which had been leaked out there by some people who do not know how to keep secrets and others are placed out there by NetherRealm Studios as no matter the leak no one can explain them besides the studio. One of those characters we had at the end of last week as we had The Kollector announced for Mortal Kombat 11 and shown off to the world during their normal weekly streams. Even though we saw the name, there was no true way to know what would be coming until now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/1/19 — 4/5/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of April 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when you think that things may have slowed down for all of our video games, we are surprised and see a whole lot more out there. This seems like something we say almost every week, but it is worth it as there was a whole lot to unpack. More surprising is the fact that we did not have to wade through much for April Fool's Day even though the RAGE 2 DLC sounds like it. Thankfully, we had much more for Layers Of Fear 2, Man Of Medan, and World War Z to look at to keep us focused on real video games and nothing false floated out there. Read More...
