Mortal Kombat A surprise announcement for Mortal Kombat 11 just happened and it looks like new things are coming to the Mortal Kombat universe with this next title During last night's Game Awards, we were all surprised to finally see the announcement of Mortal Kombat 11 on stage with an amazing looking cinematic intro for the game. All of which came about as a surprise when Ed Boon of NetherRealm Studios was brought out to present the award for a genre he is not known for and the below trailer started to play. It is all cinematic and no actual gameplay to view here, but it does show us a little bit for Mortal Kombat 11 and also gives us the surprise that it will be launching on April 23rd for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. You were most likely hoping for the true third to the franchise, but it looks like we are taking a dive into the VR side of it all. You will need to have a PSVR system as it is currently only listed for that platform there, but at least you will be able to play Borderlands 2 again in a new way.
