by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of September 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new promotional series for Fallout 4 has begun to show us how we are S.P.E.C.I.A.L. in the game starting with the Strength attribute we will need to survive in Fallout 4 Since we had a look at where Fallout 4 will be heading after it launches on November 10th on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC yesterday I guess it is high time we start to look at some of the mechanics we will employ in the core version of the game. With that we have Bethesda's new video series aimed to show us all how we are S.P. Read More...

Fallout 4 Is Getting A Season Pass & Here Are Some Details
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of September 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While details are still sparse, it looks like Fallout 4 is getting a season pass for its DLC so we can keep playing Fallout 4 into the end of days With Fallout 4 still months out from launch it seems like a good time to start talking about DLC and updates right? Nothing like getting the updates on all the little extra add-ons to a game before it is actually finished being developed right? Bethesda thinks so and so now we have the first bit of details on Fallout 4 future updates, tools, and a Season Pass for all of the DLC that will pumped out afterward to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC version of the game. Nothing makes us feel great about a game like Fallout 4 than knowing that we are going to have to pay more to make sure we have the full experience of the game in advance. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of September 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The new Drop Zone Mode for Star Wars Battlefront has been detailed and it looks like we are getting a KotH mode for Star Wars Battlefront now For those looking for more details on Star Wars Battlefront's Drop Zone Mode that was teased a little while back then you do not need to look further than here. It looks like DICE has decided to spill the beans on the new mode for Star Wars Battlefront and it looks like it is going to be a standard-like King Of The Hill style mode. Shocking I am sure but something that needed to be added into the mix of things so that there is a mode for all players of Star Wars Battlefront in the upcoming beta and when it officially lands on November 17th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes another week in video games here. It's been kind of a scattered mess all week as to what we have been getting but none the less we had another fun week for all things video games. I know I am happy to see that Rise Of The Tomb Raider is going to have a lot of what made the franchise amazing back in it. Then there is all the new stuff we had for Mad Max and all the multiplayer beta stuff for Black Ops 3. Oh and let us not discount the fact that the PlayStation Experience is coming back this year even though it is heading off to another city. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/3/15 — 8/7/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games As Gamescom comes to a warp here we too come to wrap up another week in video games. There was so much to take in for this week we didn't get a chance to cover most things that cropped up for the industry at all. We tried our damnedest to do so but we are still just a small and fierce team. When the likes of Rock Band 4, Mad Max, and Final Fantasy XV are hammering us with so much it is hard to cover all video games out there or in the works. Hells, there was also a whole lot of Metal Gear Solid V that was handed out and we were only able to cover so little on it even though it was a huge thing. Read More...

Those hoping for space dogfights in Star Wars Battlefront can hope no more as Fighter Squadron mode has been shown off for Star Wars Battlefront at Gamescom 2015 As if Star Wars Battlefront wouldn't have aerial combat in the game… Although up until now we have yet to see the mode in action but we can all rest easy now as DICE has shown off the new Fighter Squadron mode for Star Wars Battlefront at Gamescom and it gives us just what we all want. Now we just have to sit back and wait for November 17th for Star Wars Battlefront to come to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC right from EA. That wait won't be anything short of excruciating right? Faith Is Restored With New Mirror's Edge Catalyst Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay trailer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst was shown off at Gamescom 2015 and it shows us all that Mirror's Edge Catalyst will be the reboot to the franchise we've wanted When I first heard that Mirror's Edge Catalyst was going to be a reboot of sorts for the franchise I was a little worried as I didn't think it needed a reboot. After my experience with it at E3 I was calmed down a little as it looked like DICE was going in the right direction even if it felt more like an expansion to the world and not a new title. After seeing what EA had to present for Mirror's Edge Catalyst during Gamescom here I think my worries are now pretty much faded away as even if it isn't going to be coined a sequel Mirror's Edge Catalyst is exactly what I was hoping for back when it was called Mirror's Edge 2. All Kinds Of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Multiplayer Explained
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Another long demo of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain from Gamescom 2015 has been shown off and it explains more on Mother Base and the FOB multiplayer aspect of The Phantom Pain Get ready for a nice long Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain session here today as we have even more gameplay and trailers for the game to sink our eyes into right from Gamescom. With under a month left until the game hits the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on September 1st and given all of the footage we've seen up until now you would think that Konami would hold back to give us something to experience firsthand in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain but thus is not the case. What is also not the case is that even though we have another 30+ minutes of gameplay to spy on it still feels like Kojima Productions has a lot more added into The Phantom Pain that we haven't seen just yet as well. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games And thus concludes another week of news in video games. Well news, reviews, and conjecture for video games but that didn't seem to have a nice ring to it. None the less it was a week of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, The Walking Dead, and a few reviews. New Screenshots & Multiplayer News For DOOM Come Out Of QuakeCon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
News about the DOOM multiplayer beta and alpha have come out of QuakeCon 2015 as well as a few new looks at the gameplay for DOOM It would make sense that out of QuakeCon we would get some new information for DOOM wouldn't it? It is one of the larger showcasing of Bethesda's titles and we all know DOOM is going to try and make a huge splash when it finally launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hells, DOOM helped do wonders to get the pre-orders for Wolfenstein: The New Order to spike among those who were not willing to take a chance. SDCC Experience — The Walking Dead Escape 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape Was Back At SDCC Giving All Of Us A Feel For What A Survival Horror Game Really Feels Like Another SDCC down and another fun run of The Walking Dead Escape to show us all how a survival horror kind of game could be like in the real world. If this is your first time reading about The Walking Dead Escape this would be the zombie obstacle course that has been set up out in San Diego's Petco Park for the fourth year running. Pun intended. The quick breakdown, if you don't want to read our original write up, is that you get grouped together with a small group of other "Runners" and then set loose to get from one end of a set up obstacle course to the other all while a group of other paid participants dressed as the "Walkers" try to corner you and end your life. This Week In Video Games 7/13/15 — 7/17/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 11:10 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It's been an intense last few weeks in video games and the news and I'm sorry we've missed a few recaps for the week. I blame E3 and SDCC for being so closely crammed together and there being so many new video games and experiences to have to cover. We are small but we are mighty when it comes to covering our video games. If we weren't you wouldn't have had those track listings for both Rock Band 4 and Guitar Hero Live to go through here.
