Mirror's Edge Catalyst Shows Off How To Hit & Move
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Mirror's Edge Two more gameplay trailers for Mirror's Edge Catalyst have been release and the both emphasize on the huge improvements from Mirror's Edge on combat and movement More gameplay for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has seeped out into the world and is ready for our digestion. This time we get to see how DICE perfected the combat and movement aspects of the game from where they once were. Not that there was a huge issue on any of the in my book but as long as EA is paying for it they might as well make some improvements. We wouldn't want to pay for something that we already had right? Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Has A New Trailer & Beta Incoming
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of February 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst A new story trailer for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has been released as well as a closed beta for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst to be signed up for has gone live Earlier this week we were told that we would get an update or something for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Here we are almost at the end of the week and it looks like DICE and EA have kept their word as we have a new story trailer for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst to gawk at and enjoy. I was personally hoping to here that the game was getting an earlier release date than May 24th but it looks like the wait for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst to land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC is going to be just as long as we thought before. At least we have a new trailer I guess. Read More...

Thankfully it looks like things are still on track for the game to launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24th. Also thankfully it looks like this new update is in terms of a little extra for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst from DICE and EA if you shell out the cash to secure the game early. Read More...

CES 2016 Hands On — Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Oculus While at CES 2016 I was able to play with the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch in a more intimate setting than just a video. Here's my take on the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch Obviously one of the big items around CES 2016 was the Oculus Rift; especially since it went up for pre-order and all of the new details cropped up just at the beginning of the show. That of course led to a whole lot of debate on if the Oculus Rift was going to be worth the $600 price tag out the door or if it was going to be another overpriced gizmo with a lot of buyer's remorse. This led me to take over the job of checking out the hardware of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers to see if the price point made sense for where the system is now or if, like I said, it was something that could be left behind. This Week In Video Games 1/4/15 — 1/8/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of January 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It doesn't look like we started the new year in video games out with as quite a bang as many were hoping. Rumors and delays were all over the place this week and that doesn't bode well for the rest of the year. Hells, even the announcement of the Oculus Rift's release date and price didn't go over all that well. Thankfully we had the "leaked" release date for Homefront and a good look at some stuff out of CES 2016; like Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and a few other items yet to be talked about on the site. CES 2016 Hands On — Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us. Overwatch During Blizzcon it has been announced that Overwatch is hitting the consoles and it is getting an Overwatch: Origins Edition to do so As was to be expected it looks like Overwatch is getting a collector's edition of sorts and in this we have a solid confirmation that it is also heading to the PS4 and Xbox One platforms In addition to the already known PC version. Don't Lose Faith As Mirror's Edge Catalyst Is Delayed To May
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Mirror's Edge Catalyst News has just broke that Mirror's Edge Catalyst will now be delayed until May so the developers can make Mirror's Edge Catalyst a better game Now for some terrifying news out there for Mirror's Edge Catalyst. It seems the season and it would be a bit expected, the terrifying part and such, but it looks like DICE has delayed the game from February 23rd 2016 to May 24th of 2016. That's a whole three months more that we are going to have to wait for Mirror's Edge Catalyst to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and that is horrible news indeed. Not so terrifying now that I place those thoughts down but Halloween time needs a bit of terror and Mirror's Edge Catalyst being delayed kind of fits. Read More...

Star Wars Battlefront Two new well-known heroes and one villain join Star Wars Battlefront as character that will join you in the fight during Star Wars Battlefront matches If you were feeling like the Star Wars Battlefront main heroes were a bit lacking, as we've only seen a couple thus far, then let's get ready to add three more to the list. Well at least two heroes and one villain depending on which way you look at them in DICE's game this November 17th when it finally lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for us all. These characters are of course Princess Leia, Han Solo, and the badass himself, Emperor Palpatine. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of September 2015 - 06:59 PM ]
The next video in Fallout 4's S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video series has been released to show off how Perception will be used in Fallout 4 The second fun video for Fallout 4's S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video series has been released and give us a look into the Perception stat that we will be using to help survive the wastelands in the game. Bethesda gave us a look at Strength last week so Endurance is slated for next week so I am guessing that the assumption made before will ring true here.
