Sony Is In Talk About Blu-Ray For Other Machines So after the striking blow to HD-DVD Drive, from Toshiba and backed up with Circuit City, Sony looks like they are trying to help spread their tech out there. Like before, they are talking about making the Blu-Ray player available on all formats. Of course this has to be one of those ego things for Sony, but tey aren't leaving anyone behind. This claim came from Stan Glasgow and he states that they are in discussions about this whole thing. So hopefully we will see some good come out of this whole "Format War" soon. Read More...

Microsoft Excel: Revolutionary 3D Game Engine? Ok, I've been coding in Excel for some time now. I've thought that I have pushed the limits on what the program can do and such. Then things like this come flying over my desk. Some one actually made a sheet that calculates and displays 3D graphics in Excel. Brilliance! Rockstar Apologizes For And Is Working On 360 Bully Now that I've suckered you into the article, time to mess you up. I'll try not to mess you up as bad as Rockstar has made it seem that they have messed up. Apparently their testing and QA department didn't catch all of the bugs in the game before release. A Cheaper Way To Get A PS3

Circuit City Has A PS3 Return Policy For HD-DVD Players Ok, now this one isn't the online scams and such that you get spammed with every time you log online or do a search for the PS3. Circuit City has announced that they will take back any HD-DVD players and exchange them for a nice shiny new Blu-Ray player. The customer still has to pay the difference, but you can also take back a player you bought no more than a couple months ago. Romantic Hacks The DS To Pop The Big Question Now here's something positive coming out with all the negative press the gaming community gets. And Gods know we need it. But in any instance, a man decided to find another unique way of popping the question to his betrothed. He hacked into the DS and created a version of Bejeweled and sent it to his love. She opened it, and start playing the game only to find that after racking up a certain score, the screen shifted and a grouping of blocks in the shape of a ring dropped onto the screen. First Jason And Now Freddy Slashing Away

Rumor: Europe Might Be Getting A Xbox 360 Price Cut So yesterday I talked about how and why the PS3 might get a much needed price slash. Now it turns out that the Xbox 360 might be getting one as well. The big difference in these two stories is that this one seems more like a fact than a rumor, unlike the PS3 report. This should go into effect some time before the Easter sales period and it is reported to be a 50 EUR drop down on all systems. Making the ranges of the systems down to 150 EUR for the Arcade Version, 200 EUR for the Premium, and 240 EUR for the Elite version of the system. Read More...

New Halo Figures Out From McFarlane Toys They are action figures. In fact they are action figures of one of the most popular games on the Xbox system. McFarlane is also know for having some of the best figurines ever made. I know I have a slew of them in my pad just cause they are so frigging cool to look at. That being said, you can now pick up the set of figures and play out you Halo fantasies like Darth Helmet in Spaceballs. Guitar Hero III Gets New Pack So you might have heard or been mixed up in the fiasco of the Mono-sound issue with the Wii version of the game. If you signed up for the replacement disc, I'm sorry for you since that doesn't seem to be going to well, at least from what has been reported to me. I hear it is a long turn around time to get your disk shipped back to you. So you might want to pick up another game in the mean time to fill the void of the wait.
