Rise of the Argonauts So I swear I heard about this over a year ago. I could be wrong. Or I could be right. In either instance, this game looks like it could be epic. Pun intended as always. This game is suppose to be a pretty close telling of the Greek Legends of yore, with a little new world twist to get a broader audience than freaks like me who are all about the Greek stories. Rock Band Rip Off?

The First Shot of the Drum Kit that will be used in GH 4 So Activision did what I knew they would. Try to copy it's best competitor to try and cash in on a market that they didn't get in on from the start. Yes, the pic above is of a new drum kit to be used in Guitar Hero 4. If you didn't hear already, the next Guitar Hero will have vocals and drums added into the mix. And this is the pick of the drum kit that will most likely be used in the game. Granted it is different from the Rock Band one, having three pads and two dedicated cymbals added as well. Read More...

Metal Gear Product Placement Trolling around the interwebs early today I stumbled upon some new shots from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid. First Videos yesterday. Today, some new images. Tomorrow...who knows? But I digest... These new images really are not anything special. Outside of the fact that it shows how the product placement is coming more into our epic "movie like" games. Metal Gear Mania The Metal Gear Craze Is Going On Konami seems to be revving up the hype for this game much like Rock star did for the latest GTA. Trailers and ads galore. Some of which kind of cool. This first little set of videos is a bunch of ads. Everything from, what I assume is, an energy drink ad all the way to a trailer complete with the guy who has been smoking way too many cigarettes doing a voice over. That would be the first one. Amazon Taking Pre-Orders For God Of War III Being an avid fan of the God of War franchise, I nearly jumped for joy when I saw this on Amazon while shopping for a few books. Yes I read books too. Crafting Beautiful Stars

More Star Craft 2 News K, well not really news per say, but at least it is more video on how it is looking and shaping up. If they keep going on the rout it looks, my faith in Blizzard since the Activition buy out will be restored. The video of the game looks absolutely amazing and this is just a bunch of place holders for the Zerg and such. The intro where the human is armoring up looks almost to die for as well. One thing I liked to here is that it is going well and that they are keeping things that worked well in the past. Read More...

NVIDIA To "Simplify" Product Range I know this isn't that awesome for a lot of us on PWNed. Or at least it should be. We are all the awesome when it comes to gaming machines and gaming in general. Right? I thought so. But what if you are not part of this society and want in. You can get lost real quick unless you know what is going on and what you need to keep up with all of us PWNstars. Portal Is Still Alive...

More Maps For Portal This was a triumph... I'm making a note here... HUGE SUCCESS! Ok enough of that. But you really can't deny the fact that the game was a huge thing. It spawned all kinds of other media based off of just this little mod to Half Life. And it just keeps coming out. This time in more maps based from the 2D Flash version of the game. Artist Rendition Of Pikachu Nursing Maybe it is just me, but I enjoy seeing these "realistic" artist renditions of imaginary characters. Check out my other Narticle about the others. They are just really fun to see. Bet you never thought that Pikachu breed like a normal animal and such. Maybe Nintendo should incorporate some scenes like these in later releases. At least once the fans of the game grow up and such. Much like how the Harry Potter books got darker and darker as the audience was suppose to be older. Read More...

Stargate Worlds Closed Beta Registration Now Open I liked the movie. There were a few good episodes of the show. I actually enjoyed playing the Table Top RPG game based on the world. So I'm actually kind of excited about this new MMO. Not sure if it will be able to addict me to MMOs, but it will get my cash when it launches. Spyro movie pwning theatres near you!

Variety says Spyro movie is in the works. If you didn't know, the Spyro franchise is having a new game roll out for it's Decaversay. That's 10th for those who don't get me here. It looks like it could be pretty decent if they continue on the path there are on now. Good news for any of you out there that loved the game and wished for another. But on top of that, it has been released that there is a CGI film in the works for this game as well. Not too many details on it other than the fact that it has been announced. Read More...
