A new developer look at Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell has been released from Volition and Deep Silver to show off some of the gameplay Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell was announced at PAX last month and with it came a fun new trailer. It explained why we are trying to get Gat out of Hell but it didn't explain how all too well. Outside of just pimp slapping Satan and hopefully walking off into the sunset. A nice idea but I think it is going to take a whole lot more than just that to escape and to make Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell a game that is worth our time and effort. Read More...

A new developer diary for The Order: 1886 has been released from Ready At Dawn to show off all the cool weapons and gadgets for the game We've seen some the cool guns in action for The Order: 1886 in the past so it is high time that we see how they came to be. I'm not talking about in the real world during the design of The Order: 1886 but also during the core of the game from Nikola Tesla and others. That is just what we have in the following video from Ready At Dawn and it is quite an interesting watch if I do say so myself. I won't go into all the details here as that would defeat the purpose of watching the video below but it looks like most of the gear in The Order: 1886 is based on, closely and loosely, the real world state of affairs at the time. The latest Resident Evil Revelations 2 gameplay footage shows how Capcom has brought the franchise back to survival horror instead of action horror Just like Final Fantasy XV it looks like Resident Evil Revelations 2 is getting the trailer and then the gameplay treatment from the TGS. Here is where the gameplay comes in with what looks like the PS3 driving the game during a nice long demo for the game. At least I am assuming the PS3 as it is using the controls that are not on the Xbox One or Xbox 360 and the visuals don't look crisp enough to be the PS4 running. Then again this could all be the video quality that was spread over the net. Read More...

There has been more than just the trailer for Final Fantasy XV revealed including gameplay and game mechanics If you were worried after the long wait for the Final Fantasy XV trailer that we would have another long wait until we received more updates on the game then you can rest a little. We have some new gameplay footage from Final Fantasy XV fresh from the TGS as well as a few tidbits of information on the game's mechanics. That and the news that EVERYTHING we've seen so far, sans the flying spaceships in the trailer, is 100% in engine footage. The spaceships were pre-rendered and that was it. Read More...

Another gameplay demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has revealed a few more gameplay mechanics as well as insight into new characters Fortunately for everyone who wanted to see more gameplay for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain outside of the similar demos from E3 and Gamescom, we are in luck as we have a fresh new look from the TGS. Unfortunately it is all in Japanese so unless you can speak or read the language you are going to have to just go on all of the new and pretty visuals that Kojima showed off for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Don't worry too much as all of it makes perfect sense and you are only really missing out on the dialog for the scenes and slight commentary provided. Read More...

A new 'live action' trailer for Sunset Overdrive has been released for us to see…well…kind of Well it looks like Sunset Overdrive now has a 'live action' trailer for everyone to pine over and lose their shit for. I don't understand the point of live action trailers for video games but I guess if Microsoft and Insomniac want to waste the money you've given them over the years, then I guess we need to let them. You know, to make sure that we all know that Sunset Overdrive is coming to the Xbox One here in a month and we need to shell out more cash for them to have a larger budget for their next IP. So they can make another live action trailer for a virtual world game. Read More...

A new multiplayer mode for Battlefield Hardline has been detailed and has a new trailer from EA and Visceral Games What would the cops and robbers style of Battlefield Hardline be without epic car chases through the city? It wouldn't be worth its weight in platinum multiplied by a hundred if it didn't have that kind of gameplay included somehow into the game. Good thing that EA and Visceral Games thought ahead for all of us and included just that in the Hotwire Multiplayer mode of the game. Yes, there will be some epic car chases coming to our PS4s, Xbox Ones, and PCs here in short time and I have a feeling that they are going to be some of the most intense matches to date. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It Tokyo Game Show time so that means there should be a whole lot of new news in the area of video games. Did I say should? I meant there is and was. More than you could shake an eleven foot pole out so we had to break out the twelve foot pole to make sure all of the shaking was properly done and we were able to cover as much as we could in the world of video games and gaming. Believe me when I say we weren't even able to get to everything that there was in the industry this week and we'll have to keep the news flowing. We were able to cover quite a few thing s in video games though. Read More...

The How Will You Survive Video Series Continues For Alien Isolation Showing Off Why You Don't Scream For Help Everyone knows the old adage that "in space no one can hear you scream." Well in Alien Isolation it looks like that is the next way that you can have the titular Alien upon you and ripping you apart. Yes, we have another video showing us how not to play Alien Isolation and this time it looks like taking the quieter option when traversing the ship to safety would be the best choice to survive. Although I don't think I hear any other screaming but the Alien's in the video below as the noise is made by trying to blow the thing up. Read More...

A few new screen shots and concepts for The Evil Within have been released to show off a couple locations we will be surviving through Earlier in the week we had a nice little trailer for The Evil Within that didn't do much to show off anything we haven't seen for the game so far. It wasn't a letdown at all but I know I would have loved to see a few more places, environments, or locations that we are going to be running for our lives around. Even the "new gameplay" from the Tokyo Game Show is just another play though for the same demo levels we have seen since the big E3 showing. We have a month left so it is time we ask for a bit more. Another new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows shows us some of the ways we can die while playing the game Still no official release date for Styx: Master Of Shadows on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but we do have a nice montage of a few ways that Styx will and can die in the game. Isn't that lovely? Well, at least it is something to show Cyanide an Focus Home haven't forgotten about all of us who are looking forward to Styx: Master Of Shadows. Time is running out though at least if they want mass spread knowledge of the game in the mix of all of the other big names coming out in the next few months. Maybe that is just me… I guess we'll just have to take solace in the fact that we have yet another gameplay trailer to watch for Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More...

The release date for all territories has been announced for Blodborne from Sony at the Tokyo Game Show At the beginning of the month we had a nice showing of Blodborne and its slated release date in Japan during Sony's pre-TGS press event. This was nice and all for all of those who lived in Japan but the rest of the world was wondering when Blodborne would be hitting their PS4s and if it would be around the same time. I know I speculated on the same thing at the time of the press event so I know what everyone was talking about. Well it looks like all of the speculation was pretty much correct as we will be seeing Blodborne on February 6th 2015. Read More...

A new concept trailer for Silent Hills has been shown at the Tokyo Game Show and it is just as freaky as P.T. was to play Just in case you thought that Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro might not be able to come through with their claims for Silent Hills and scaring you so bad that your butt throws up in your pants, we have a new look at the game via a concept movie from the Tokyo Game Show. If you've played P.T. Read More...

Fresh from the Tokyo Game Show we have a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV from Square Enix to tide us over until the next one It's been tease after tease for Final Fantasy XV and now it looks like we finally are getting what we want. A new trailer for Final Fantasy XV has been released from Square Enix at this year's Tokyo Game Show and it looks just as we would expect it to; orgasmic. While there still is no word on when we will be seeing the game on our PS4s or Xbox Ones there is quite a bit of what can be assumed as in game footage throughout the entire two and a half minute trailer for the game. I know you no longer care to read the words here so have a look at the trailer and I'll continue on about Final Fantasy XV after you've had a good look. Read More...

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes has launched in EU and there were holographic heroes there to help make sure it went smooth Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes is only a few days out from launch here in the US but it looks like last night the UK had an amazing delivery to prep for the official launch tonight/tomorrow-ish (9/18). That amazing delivery also just happened to be the cast of Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes going about town in hologram form to aid the delivery trucks with their precious cargo. Yes, I said holograms of the Marvel characters making sure that those copies and figures for the game made it to their proper locations. Read More...
