A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming You would think that in the wake of SDCC we would be occupied with more on the gaming recaps than we would the fresh news coming out afterwards. That was not the case in this week and as usual we did our best to bring you everything we could in the world of gaming so you can have an unbiased perspective on things. Ok, well as unbiased as anyone truly can be who doesn't get paid by companies to talk up and excite the internet just to spark the burning in your wallets. None the less though we were also able to recap some of the great gaming experiences from last week here for you. Read More...

I was able to unleash my inner assassin during Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Experience at SDCC 2014 We spoke about the Assassin's Creed Experience a few times before it was unleashed at SDCC last week. This would be the huge parkour course that they set up outside of Comic Con to allow fans of the franchise to see if they could handle the same stuff that Arno may need to do in Assassin's Creed Unity. It was gimmicky but it was also a blast to be able to run through. This isn't the first time that Ubisoft has brought something Assassin's Creed themed to Comic Con but it definitely was the most interactive. Read More...

Two new live action trailers from BioWare have popped up online and signs point to a new IP called Shadow Realms Over the last few weeks it looks like BioWare has been teasing a new IP and if all clues are correct it could be titles Shadow Realms. It makes sense as EA recently filed for a trademark for Shadow Realms back in March and the thumbnail for the first video is straight up titled ShadowRealms_Teaser_video.jpg. It seems to be one of the least guarded secrets based on all of that doesn't it? Read More...

The Walking Dead Escape was back at SDCC giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like For the third year running (pun intended) I was able to experience The Walking Dead Escape at SDCC. I broke down what it was all about before but I'll give the quick version just in case you are lazy. In a nut shell it is a real world survival horror event that tests if you could escape from one end of a location, Petco Park in this case, to the other without being swarmed by the undead horde. The Walking Dead Escape of course using portions of the AMC show, comic books, and video games to theme everything. Read More...

New gameplay footage for Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes has been released showing off the Guardians Of The Galaxy play set The Guardians Of The Galaxy are nothing completely new in terms of announcement for Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes as half the team was shown during the initial announcement of the game and the rest talked about at E3. What better place to show off the gameplay for the Guardians Of The Galaxy play set though than at SDCC right? It also seems to fit the time frame given the film's imminent release and the sequel already announced. Read More...

The first trailer for Halo: Nightfall was shown at SDCC and we have it here for all to see If you happen to be one of those Halo fans who don't have enough time to dedicate to hunting down details on Halo: Nightfall then let us hook you up. The first look and trailer for the new show was shown during SDCC and we just happen to have hunted it down for your viewing pleasure. We mentioned before on one of the main actors and roles for Halo: Nightfall but now we have a good look at everything in action. Like I said though, this is mainly for those who couldn't dedicate the time hunting around as all of you hardcore Halo fans probably have all of the words to the clip memorized forwards and backwards by now. While At SDCC I Got To See Escape Dead Island In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It It seems like I should have had to wait a bit longer to get a look at Escape Dead Island as it was only announced a month ago but I'll take it none the less. Especially since Escape Dead Island seems to be taking the amazing universe and changing a lot of the mechanics that we are used to and changing them or removing them to fit this new take on Dead Island. Without any further gilding the lily here, let's dig right in. For those not familiar with Escape Dead Island it is sort of an in-between-quel from Dead Island: Riptide and Dead Island 2; although all you really need to know are the basics of the universe's story to be able to hop on in. A new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released showing off all of the facets of the combat system for the game It seems odd to keep talking about it as we've seen it many times before but here is some more on the combat system in Dragon Age: Inquisition. It really seems like BioWare is insanely proud of this system as it is being pushed more than the great story that I've been hearing for the game and other great features. I guess since it is looking like the best version of a D&D video game combat system it is something to be proud of. I just kind of want to move on to something else for the game before it finally lands on November 18th. Read More...

A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been released showing a bit more gameplay and what the campaign mode's story will be all about If you were wondering what the story behind Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare was going to be then you have to wait no longer. If you are one of those lunks who thinks that Call Of Duty is only a multiplayer experience then you can skip all of these hard words to read and just watch the pretty pictures in the video below. Although I am sure that all of you in that category will be upset as this is all about the solo campaign and the overall story for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. You know, the reason we are shooting at the "bad guys" in the game. Read More...

In a new trailer today Ubisoft showed off how masterful Arno is in Assassin's Creed Unity as well as a new Templar, Elise If you are a fan of CGI trailers then we have a new one here for Assassin's Creed Unity with a bit of added in for all of you Ubicollectors out there. It depicts the main protagonist, Arno, racing through Paris and against time to save someone from the horrors of beheading. That someone also happens to be another central character to the overall story of Assassin's Creed Unity; Elise: The Fiery Templar. This is all in an attempt to further the basics of the story for Assassin's Creed Unity as well as push the new novel being written for Assassin's Creed Unity by Oliver Bowden. Read More...

The extended trailer for Tekken 7 was shown at SDCC this year and we have it here for you to see Well I guess Namco kept their promise of showing more of Tekken 7 at SDCC this year. Although I am pretty sure this was not what fans of the franchise were looking forward to when said promise was made. In fact, if I was as rabid of a fan for Tekken as I am for other franchises I would be a little put out and upset with such a tease. That is all because nothing more than a very small bit of Tekken 7's story has been released surrounded by the same visuals we already had. Read More...

The night is here to watch The Last Of Us: One Night Live and we have it for you Last week it was announce that we would be seeing The Last Of Us: One Night Live this week. The only drawbacks would be that you would have needed tickets that sold out in minutes and be in Santa Monica tonight (7/28). Well that would be the case if it wasn't for the wonders of the internet and video streaming. Gods I love this technology. Read More...

During the Skybound Entertainment panel for The Walking Dead at SDCC, season three for the game was announced We haven't even finished off season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale and now we have season three on the way. It has been confirmed during the panel at SDCC where the game was mentioned and then confirmed from Robert Kirkman and the president of Telltale games, Kevin Bruner. Also for those who were not able to make the panel nor watch it online it was later announced via Telltale's twitter account for all to bare witness to. Amazing news indeed! Read More...

A new trailer out of SDCC for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham shows off the voice actors of the game If you didn't know by now, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is being slated as having the largest cast of characters from the DC Universe. I had the pleasure of seeing a good chunk of these characters at SDCC last week, look forward to a hands on article, but if you don't want to wait you can get a glimpse at a bunch of the characters and those who voice them in the below trailer. You also get to hear a bit on what the actors thought about LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham too; this includes an appearance from Adam West. See all of this from LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham reminds me of the old days when the LEGO games were all voiced in grunts and mumbles. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming Well this has been one crazy week in the gaming world. I blame it mostly on SDCC and all of the craziness that brings with it. It is way more than just comics and their other forms of media outlets. We've been trying to keep up with everything we can while covering all of the stuff on the show floor directly but it can get insanely overwhelming. But I am not here to complain about all of that. I am here to bring you all that gaming news I know you are craving to sink your eye balls into. Read More...
