We Sit Down And Review Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty. It's been years in the remaking so let's see how the game holds up after all of this time I remember almost 17 years ago when Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee first arrived on my PS1. I marveled at the game's graphics and had a blast playing through the game from start to finish. Now we have the opportunity to play through once again in Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty on the PS4 and other platforms to come. Is it worth the remake or should Just Add Water and Oddworld Inhabitants just left alone and not made Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty? Read More...

A new trailer for Metro Redux from Deep Silver and 4A Games has been released showing off all of the updates and comparisons from the original titles Having had a chance to play both titles included in Metro Redux I can attest that both look and play amazing. They both look stunning and all of the minor issues I had with the original titles in terms of gameplay have been tweaked and fixed in this new edition. But of course these are just words on your screen that you are reading and if I know my audience like I think I do, you want to see the proof as well as read my words on the screen. Well you all happen to be in luck for at least half of what I have been praising so far. Read More...

The next episode of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel behind the scenes series is out and covers some of the game's mechanics Here we go with part two of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel "making of" YouTube series. Part One covered how the two studios were handling the workload and physical separation. Part two here looks to cover some of the ne mechanics that will make Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel feel like a Borderlands game but "take risks" Gearbox and 2K didn't want to take in the previous titles. Hooray for being guinea pigs with something the publisher didn't have faith in two times already… Ok, well maybe not something they didn't believe in but something that the people making Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel have had time to perfect to give us that added bonus while playing. The latest trailer for Dying Light from Gamescom has confirmed the four player co-op for the game I'm a bit confused here with the latest from Dying Light as I thought that the co-op was one of the original selling points for the game. Now we have the latest Gamescom trailer for the game that is highlighting all of the accolades Dying Light has received thus far as well as how we will be playing the game in co-op. From the looks of it that will all be in an online form and not split screen with your buddy sitting right next to you. I miss those days sometimes. Read More...

Two new teasers clips have popped up from Sony surrounding something to be revealed at Gamescom. Could it be Until Dawn? I remember two years ago being so excited for Until Dawn when it was announced at Gamescom during the PlayStation press briefing. Then the title from Supermassive Games, which was slated to use the PS Move to its full extent, kind of just vanished. No word from anyone and then no word at all from anyone over at the developer/publisher for Until Dawn. Like I said when it was announced, "It looks like a teen horror game I'd love. Read More...

A new teaser for the suspected Shadow Realms IP from BioWare has been released and it is looking like it could be very interesting Last week we covered a newly teased IP from BioWare that most have been calling Shadow Realms. That's not official but it makes sense given all of the build up to the first teaser video for whatever BioWare and EA are putting together. Speaking of, the point here is that we have the latest teaser for the supposed Shadow Realms. Obviously we will carry on with the speculation fun for Shadow Realms but I think you should have a look at the latest teaser trailer that has been released. Read More...

More rumors are flying around that Fallout 4 has been confirmed and we await an official announcement Here we go with yet another Fallout 4 rumor but this one claims to be legit. Just like all of the other rumors out there for Fallout 4 and Half Life 3. None the less the people over at KDrama Stars claim to have word from one of the horse's mouths over at Bethesda. Well more from someone who claims to know someone on the PR team at Bethesda at least. That someone of course being an anonymous internet user… So what has been claimed now for Fallout 4? Here is Rob Zombie's French Revolution based on the upcoming Assassin's Creed Unity from Ubisoft Just before SDCC we caught wind that Rob Zombie was going to do an animated film based on Assassin's Creed Unity and the French Revolution that take place in the game. I was a bit ecstatic but also a bit concerned given the fact that a lot of what I love about Rob Zombie's work in the past is something that I would think Ubisoft would be a bit hesitant to embrace. Especially when he gets teamed up with The Walking Dead's co-creator (Tony Moore) to illustrate what he does best; horrid gore and blood. Sounds like an amazing team up to me but like I said I was worried they would get hamstringed. Read More...

2K Games has announced that Evolve will now be releasing in 2015 instead of this October If you were lucky enough to get into the Evolve Alpha test over last weekend, consider yourself lucky. It looks like it was fruitful for Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games but not so much for everyone hoping to get to play the game this October. Yes, Evolve has been delayed until 2015. Delayed until February 10th 2015 to be exact. Read More...

It has just been announced that we will be getting Resident Evil on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. We're talking the original Resident Evil here Just in case you may have missed out on the original Resident Evil the umpteen times it has been given the HD remastered feel, we are getting a new version of the game for the PS3, PS4, XB1, 360, and PC. Pretty much all of the platforms that were left out when the latest Resident Evil HD remaster came out for the Wii and then some. None the less it looks like Capcom is going to try and get the franchise back up into swing again using the HD ploy for all of us old gamers who wanted the newer version and all of those younger gamers who may have missed out on this PS1 gem. Ubisoft announced Assassin's Creed Rogue today with a CG trailer and a few interesting details A little while back it was rumored that Assassin's Creed Rogue was going to be the last of the franchise on the "last gen" consoles. Well at least that was all based on an online gaming store's slip of showing the pre-order a bit early. There wasn't much to go on besides that and I let it pass as just another small tease that would lead nowhere. Looks like I was wrong as Ubisoft has now fully announced Assassin's Creed Rogue. While At SDCC I Got To See LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It It was Comic Con and what kind of convention would it be if we didn't cover LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham or something comic book related in gaming? Am I right? Well in a few months time we are getting the release of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham on damn near every platform under the sun so I stood up and gave the game a whirl on the show floor. All just before the huge announcements that now surround the game and make it just that much cooler. Here's what I thought when I finally got my hands on LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Read More...

A few new images for Mortal Kombat X have cropped up online and it looks like Kano is up next for reveal The internet can't keep anything sacred and fun for reveal and the latest Mortal Kombat X outing speaks directly to that. It looks like a few screen grabs from a German magazine have found their way from the editing room to the internet and it pretty much confirms Kano as a returning fighter to Mortal Kombat X. It sure looks like Kano and the brief description in the bottom corner looks to be all about his "Wrestling-Kano" fighting style. Unless this is an elaborate fake just in the build up to Gamescom. Near the end of last week Deep Silver and Occupant Entertainment announced that a Dead Island film adaptation is in the works Time to hear the resounding cheers and jeers for the announcement of a Dead Island film. Yes, it looks like we may be getting a film adaptation of Deep Silver's largest zombie themed game. The first Dead Island has sold over 8 million copies of the game to date so it seems like it would be a perfect time to rake in more dough on the franchise. Zombies are still all the rage so it makes sense. Read More...
