A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games I never thought we would make it to the end of this week in video games did you? Especially with Fallout 4 releasing and all of the hype for Star Wars Battlefront building for next week. Hells, all of this is off the heels of last week's video games that came out including Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 that happens to be one the better selling in the franchise's history. Good on them. But now we go back to all of the news for video games out there that we had during this week. Read More...

The official list of nominated games for The Game Awards 2015 has been released as well as which categories fans of The Game Awards can vote in The Game Awards are creeping up closer and closer each day and December 3rd will be here in no time. Of course the date for The Game Awards was only handed out earlier this week so it is not a huge surprise that the official list of games, developers, actors, and eSports players up for the awards has been released into the wild. The categories run the gamut as they did at The Game Awards last year but we can see what the special panel of judges and "reviewers" are going to be selecting from to get the shiny awards. Then we sit and wait to see who received the most votes and will be walking away from The Game Awards victorious. Read More...

The second hero for Paragon has been shown off in another short update giving us a look at Paragon's 'tank' style character Last week we had the announcement of Paragon and one of the hero characters that we will get to see in action for the game. This week we have our second Paragon hero as Epic Games has revealed Steel to the world. Well more revealed Steel in the same way that Twinblast was last week. That of course being in a slow pan that barely shows any of the character but does a good display of showing us what the gameplay of Paragon will look like graphically. Read More...

A new PC mode for Fallout 4 is out there to help with some of the graphical complaints some users have had for Fallout 4 since before its release Fallout 4 has finally made it out into the world and according to social streams it is dominating everyone's life right now. I am sure that Bethesda is beside themselves with joy as gamers are running into the wastelands of Fallout 4 and ignoring their real life needs. Even if some of them have complained about the visuals of the game there are still losing hours on end. Thankfully though for the PC folks who have issues with some of Fallout 4's visuals there is a mod out there already that claims to solve some of these issues. Read More...

A new game titled Spyjinx has been announced from the people who brought us Infinity Blade, Star Wars, and Star Trek. Here's what’s known for Spyjinx As if the film industry wasn't enough, J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot have made the announcement that they are making a game called Spyjinx. Of course they are not making it on their own but teaming up with ChAIR of Infinity Blade fame to do this. Not only that but it looks like Spyjinx is going to be something that is far and away from the traditional game as much as they can get it so that it will stand on its own when it hits the PC and mobile devices sometime next year. Thankfully it is Spyjinx and not a film tie-in for his latest projects right? Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's campaign mode. Does it advance the overall franchise or does it leave us all wanting more? Here's our review of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 [Campaign Mode] Another year down and another installment to the Call Of Duty franchise in the way of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. The big difference this time around is that Treyarch has tried to make this year's game more than just a multiplayer and campaign only title. We get so much in Black Ops 3 that it can't all be covered in one review but in multiple. Read More...

A new batch of screenshots for Game Of Thrones' sixth and final episode of the season to prep us for how brutal of a note Game Of Thrones looks to be ending on By the Gods it has been some time since we had the last episode of Game Of Thrones release and we still have a bit more time until the final episode of the season hits (November 17th). It's been such a long wait that I may need to replay the first five episodes again to be completely up to date for when The Ice Dragon is finally released by Telltale Games. Especially since the latest screenshots we have for Game Of Thrones' sixth episode now only slightly spark the memory of what is going on as it has been filled with all of the other information from all of the other titles the developer has put out there. We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required. This Is The Second Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did That was a crazy turnaround time for this episode of Minecraft: Story Mode to be released. Usually it takes at least a month or two before Telltale Games is giving us another episode to whet our whistles and this time we all had a nice two week or so turn around. Kudos to them and I hope they keep pushing the Mojang inspired story out to us in the same manner. Until then though we get a nice look at Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required as we dig into our continued review of this episodic franchise. Read More...

The November patch for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain brings a bunch of new updates but also the ability to bring a character back into Metal Gear Solid V to join the fight If you've played through most of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain by now then you most likely know what this is all about. If you have not then you may just want to bookmark this page as when you get to the section brought up you will first curse Kojima Productions and Konami for doing what they did then want to be able to fix it. Thankfully the fix to this issue a lot had with Metal Gear Solid V here has been quietly patched in the latest update for the game that just hit the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One version of the game. Two new collector's editions for Dark Souls 3 have shown up online today and some of the ads point to a solid date that Dark Souls 3 could release You have to love the internet sometimes as it does its damnedest to uncover things like we have here for Dark Souls 3 today. I am sure that FromSoftware and/or Namco are not too happy about it but it looks like someone has spotted two of the special editions of Dark Souls 3 out there in cyberspace and spilled the beans for you all. Granted as the retailer showing off both of these Dark Souls 3 bundles has still yet to take them down I have a feeling that what you are about to see will be a region specific thing unless enough of you make noise to get these absurdly expensive bundles brought anywhere else. To clear things up a bit here, a NeoGAF User spotted and brought to light two bundles for Dark Souls 3 being listed by United Arab Emirates retailer Geekay Games. Read More...
