A new Bubsy game has just been teased with Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back and it looks like we'll be hanging with this bobcat this September Here's a name I haven't heard in a while in gaming and now it looks like Bubsy is coming back with a new title called Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back. Maybe you remember the bobcat here from the past titles that Accolade had brought us but given that it has been about twenty years since then we can give a pass. None of that changes the fact that Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back has been announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with a hopeful release date in September for this platformer to finally make a comeback. Pre-order bonuses for Agents Of Mayhem have been announced and they bring a Saints Row fan-favorite to Agents Of Mayhem as well as another Given that Agents Of Mayhem is kind of an off-shoot of Saints Row, in spirits and more, it would make sense that we would get some great crossovers between it and the other Volition titles here and now we have it. Johnny Gat will be making his way into the game here and giving us all a 13th agent to play and see what the canon ending of Gat Out Of Hell truly was. At least if you aim to pre-order Agents Of Mayhem from GameStop for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC before August 15th. Read More...

Red Hood has been slated to come to Injustice 2 in June and now we not only know when he'll join Injustice 2 but we can see more of his action If you've been keeping up with Injustice 2 since launch then it is no surprise to you that Red Hood is one of the DLC characters that will be coming to the game. Hells, if you've updated the game on the PS4 or Xbox One to the latest build that NetherRealm Studios has put out there then you definitely know as he and silhouettes of the other fighters can also be seen in the game. Pretty much as the team has been getting Injustice 2 ready for all of the future characters to flow on in and now it looks like June 13th will be the day that Red Hood becomes available to all those who want to play as him. A new story trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has released and shows just what the new ring in Shadow Of War can and will do For a game that needed to be delayed until October 10th, there sure is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to go around here and I have a feeling there will be a lot more given its presence at E3 this year. If I had to guess it was less with Monolith Productions needing more time to polish or whatever and more to get the buzz going and the marketing campaigns to a high. Either way, there is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War out there to take in with more on the way and here we go today with more on the story with an official story trailer for the game. Check out more of the locations for Vampyr in the E3 trailer as well as see Vampyr's Ascalon Club in action before the new release date It's time to start the fun for E3 here as the new basic trailers for games are starting to flow and here we go with Vampyr and its latest trailer to have a look at just before a huge showing on the floor out there next week. I have been excited for DontNod to bring us more for this game for some time now and am glad to see that we have a nice long trailer to look at here. If only it was more gameplay for Vampyr and less flying around to show off some of the world in the game. Read More...

We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — From The Gallows. This is the final episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It may have had a slow start to get going, but here we go with the end of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season here. Technically this would be the end of the third season of the franchise from Telltale Games but given the new title it can be seen as its own thing in a shared universe. No matter which way you want to take it, here we are at the end of this season of The Walking Dead and in turn the conclusion of this story and hopefully closure on all of the other events and choices in the game so far. New gameplay for ELEX has popped up online and we have about sixteen minutes of ELEX to pour through to and dissect now While it seems like there are a lot of titles out there trying to hold back new gameplay for E3 next week, it looks like some new footage for ELEX has been released out there by THQ Nordic to get us all riled up and ready for some newer footage soon. At least that is how I take the most recent look at Piranha Bytes' title here as we have do have a lot of gameplay in time but not much more than a lot of walking, jumping, and occasionally shooting. Yes, get ready for a lot of what looks like B-Roll here for ELEX but with a few new bits mixed in. Read More...

It is official that Minecraft: Story Mode is getting a seond season and it will be bringing back a few of the Minecraft community members with it It seemed like it was "iffy" to me that Minecraft: Story Mode was going to be getting a full second season for fans to enjoy, all based on the eight episode season the first had, but as it looks there will be a season two. Today Telltale Games has announced that it is teaming up with Mojang again and bringing the episodic adventure back to carry on the adventures of Jesse in their own crafted world. Not only did they announce it, but Minecraft: Story Mode second season will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices on July 11th with the first episode. Read More...

The Kickstarter for a new PC version of Pathfinder: Kingmaker has started and it is looking for help to bring more Pathfinder into the video game realm Normally I shy away from bringing you information like a new Kickstarter campaign, but seeing as Pathfinder: Kingmaker is near and dear to my heart in the recent years, I felt it needed to be shared. Not because I am attached to Owlcat Games or Paizo in any way, but because I really enjoy the pencil/pen and paper version of the whole campaign and now that duo mentioned before is trying to bring it all into a video game setting for the PC. That is at least if the Pathfinder: Kingmaker Kickstarter campaign is successful and they are able to bring down the $500,000 USD they are looking for. Read More...

A new Need For Speed title is on its way as Need For Speed Payback has been announced and aims to pull into our homes this coming November Look out as we have a new driving game coming our way as Need For Speed Payback has been given the full announcement treatment and has already been given a release date for us to look to. The name may be a bit of a throw off for those who have been fans of the franchise for a while, but Payback is the latest from Ghost Games to come out for us on all the major platforms and coming on November 10th this year. Seems about right as there hasn't been much word on Need For Speed here in a while and now that we have word it makes sense to not have to wait too long to get it in our hands. Read More...

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has a release date now and it looks like the wait for Hellblade is almost over as it is only a few months out now It has been one Hells of a past three years as we watch Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice transform into the title that we currently see it as now. It has gone through so many transformations and worry that it was going to be canceled completely from Ninja Theory have been there, but the wait is almost over. That and now we have a release date for when we can see Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice finally land on the PS4 and PC. Read More...

We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Thicker Than Water. This is the fourth episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did We've made it almost to the end of the story of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and things are starting to boil up and over for the group here. Just about right for the fourth episode of any of Telltale Games' titles out there and here we are with it. If I had to guess I'd say that this is about when the real twist that The Walking Dead is known to throw out there, or the gut punch as it may be, will hit us all. Read More...

The official trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy's second episode is here and it looks like one of the Guardians Of The Galaxy will be getting a backstory expanded It was no big secret that the second episode of Guardians Of The Galaxy was coming this week as that was one of the big announcements that Telltale Games laid down for us not too long ago. It's landing on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices on June 6th, tomorrow, and it's been hyped up a bit to get everyone ready to continue on the story that has already begun. Mystical artifact, seems to be able to bring the dead back to life, the Guardians Of The Galaxy have it in their hands, and it looks like we may get to see where Rocket started his whole career from. The next Paragon hero has been shown off and you can expect this monkey to hit Paragon here on Tuesday after another three week wait for a new hero It was only a matter of time before Paragon got it, as every MOBA does have the character type, but it looks like the next hero to land will be a Monkey King style character named Wukong. It seemed like only a matter of time before Epic Games placed this kind of character in there and as of June 6th you will be able to play as Wukong on the PC and PS4 versions of the game. This brings us to 33 different heroes for Paragon by my count, I may be off, but it does look like there are now even more options out there than what came at launch. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was a shorter week here in video games but it still packed a lot of punches indeed. A lot of which was just to build up to E3 in just over a week from now but still we had a bunch of good and bad things happen this week. I know it was a bummer to see that Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War was delayed a few months, as well as Agony. At least the second title there had an amazing reason for the delay. Read More...
