Action-Adventure title Theseus is poised to bring the story of Theseus to PlayStation VR this Summer first with other platforms certainly to follow along Back in February we all, at least most of us, heard about a new VR title coming our way in terms of Theseus. As the title pretty much suggests, we will be taking on the role of the titular Greek Hero in the game and Forge Reply was going to take us through one of his great adventures in the game. In the terms of Theseus the game, we would be tackling the mythical Maze of the Minotaur and all of the harshness that should be coming along with that. All in a nice action-adventure setting but also set in a VR display. Read More...

Many things are getting updated for Secret World Legends & one more mechanic for Secret World Legends that is getting the update is the combat If you were, or still are, a huge fan of The Secret World you may want to start forgetting how the combat in the game flows as when June 26th hits here and Secret World Legends launches it looks like there will be a new learning curve for you. Nothing too daunting here as I'm sure that Funcom doesn't want to upset players, but things will be changing. If the changes are for the better or the worse will have to full wait until Secret World Legends launches, but at least as of now we can have a look at just what changes will be coming down the pipeline. The wait for ELEX looks to be a little shorter than we all thought as the released date for ELEX has been set down and not too far off To me it feels like we are only now getting to know ELEX and just what the game could bring us when all is said and done. Maybe I was a little bit late to the part to check out this new title from Piranha Bytes or maybe I was too focused on other IPs that THQ Nordic has for us in the coming months and years. Either way, ELEX caught my attentions and now I am glad to see that it will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 17th now. Yes, we now have a solid release date for the game and hopefully it stays that way as we always need more titles to break up the cold and slow months. Read More...

Another new title, Extinction, has been announced just before E3 and we have a cinematic look at Extinction right now As if we didn't have enough games to look forward to already, it looks like we can add one more to the list as Extinction has just been announced by Maximum Games. While it does have a very post-apocalyptic sounding title, that isn't the case or was developers Iron Galaxy are aiming to bring us. In fact, Extinction's title is more along the lines of what you have to stop while set in a medieval setting where you are the lone hero trying to save everyone from a horde of massive ogres trying to murder everything in the area. You know, because that is just what Ogres do when not falling in love with donkey side-kicks and such. Read More...

It looks like Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been delayed a bit as the team aims to make Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War a better title…somehow I hope you weren't still looking for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to launch this August as it has sadly been delayed out from the initial date we were given. It looks like Monolith Productions needs more time to perfect the game and the Nemesis gameplay so now we have to wait. How much longer of a wait? Read More...

New updates for Hunt: Showdown have been released and it looks like some of the speculation about Hunt: Showdown has been true with more at E3 Not too long ago we saw a new title, Hunt: Showdown, pop up and not have much to go on but a lot of cryptic phrases and updates via the game's social media. Of course this led to speculation and a lot of it point to Crytek's title of a similar name being still in the works but under a new name. That one being Hunt: Horrors Of The Gilded Age and something that was really cool to see a few E3s ago. Read More...

A massive gameplay dump for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is here and it shows off just how all these Crash Bandicoot titles have been fully updated More gameplay for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy that is coming to the PS4 on June 30th has just been dropped and it is another massive bit. We've had a few teases given out from Activision over the last few weeks, but here it looks like Vicarious Visions has opted to sit down and dole out close to a half-hour demo of the titles in the bundle and we all get to sit back and watch. It also looks like they didn't stick to just one title in the Crash Bandicoot franchise that will be part of this new bundled remaster, so there is a lot to take in on top of all of that. See the vehicles in Agents Of Mayhem in actions as they give you another way to get around the world of Agents Of Mayhem without just teleporting So far for Agents Of Mayhem we've seen a lot of fun ways to get around the city of Seoul that Volition has crafted for us. A lot of running, a lot of jumping, and a lot of teleportation but that will not be the only way we get around as every good game like this has vehicles of sorts too. This is also the case for Agents Of Mayhem as there is a specific department of the in-game universe that is tasked with giving us all just that. Also to give Deep Silver another great opportunity to give us trailers like the one below that gives a great throwback to vehicles of yore. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week of video games in the bag and it was a huge one that was un expected indeed. I could have sworn it would have been a silent week given the proximity of E3, but it looks like they had to get all of the Far Cry 5 news out there to get us all hyped up for the video games still to come in the next few weeks. That and keep our minds off the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2 a bit and then be excited to see that LawBreakers is heading to the PS4 as well now. Mix in the Xbox Game Pass and other little bits we had and it was a pretty damn solid week for us all. Read More...

The final trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season finale is here to give us a taste of the latest story in The Walking Dead I was beginning to think that we wouldn't be seeing a full trailer for the final episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier here, but here we are with it. It is starting to feel like Telltale Games is mixing up all of their usual patterns but in a really good way. None the less though, we have a new trailer for this title in The Walking Dead franchise just days before we can dive right in and wrap up this whole part of the story on May 30th. Read More...

The official trailer for Far Cry 5 has landed and we have a whole lot going on in Far Cry 5 than previously thought to be going on The time has come and here we are with the full showing of Far Cry 5 as we were all promised. The official full trailer for the game has dropped to give us a feel for Hope County, Montana and it looks like Ubisoft went the extra mile to not only give us that but also a few more trailers to give us a feel for the other characters in the game's world. Oh, and also the fact that Far Cry 5 will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 27th on top of all of that. It is such a big day for this title that it feels like it would be an E3 announcement, but apparently there will be a lot more of all of that during the show. Read More...

Another zombie multiplayer title, Dead Alliance, is on the way out there and a lot of Dead Alliance looks to build on other title's failures If you were hoping that the zombie multiplayer game was going to take a break here then you may want to forget that as it looks like we have Dead Alliance on its way to bring us even more of the zombies and more of the four on four multiplayer shooter gameplay. Yes, it looks like we will have another one added into the mix here from Psyop Games and Maximum Games. All on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 29th. Read More...
