Raiden is joining Injustice 2 this October and is also adding another premiere skin to the Injustice 2 line up from the DC side of the fight Here we go with our first look at Raiden coming to Injustice 2 here in October. This will be the second character in the Fighter Pack 2 DLC that NetherRealm Studios has put together for us and the second character from the Mortal Kombat franchise to make it into this game here. Not the most anticipated of characters for Injustice 2 given the demand for many other DC characters that could have taken the place here, but another one nonetheless. Thankfully, at least in most books, Raiden has been noted as the last from the MK universe that will be taking up a full character slot, but that does not mean that we may not see any more through premiere skins. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That wraps up yet another week of video games here and now we get to have a small break. At least from the updates as we have a whole lot of titles releasing here in short order as well as on the close horizon. It may seem like The Evil Within 2 and Shadow Of War are still very far away, but these video games are now only a few weeks off. Then we look at Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and need to remember that it is only a few days off now. Read More...

Another trailer for ECHO is here and this one shows off the voice cast for ECHO as well as gives a little more insight into the story being told Here we are with yet another title just about to release, ECHO, as September 19th rolls up on us here in a few days. This has been yet another unique "shooter" of sorts where the ultimate enemy in the game is going to be you. Developer Ultra Ultra has crafted the game's AI to study your actions and in turn have the "bots" retaliate in kind in ECHO. All stuff you should know by now if you have been following along with the game's development and updates over the course of time since it was announced. Read More...

The trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode's third episode is here and it looks like we will meet many other ‘prisoners’ of this Minecraft world Here we go with the latest trailer for this season of Minecraft: Story Mode and the third episode set to hit our PS4, Xbox One, PC, or mobile devices on September 19th. We are about to hit the mid-way point of the story that Telltale Games has crafted so far so I guess it is time to start to expect all of those twists and turns to start hitting rather hard now. That is of course if they opt to go the path they normally do and aim to give us more than some fun references to Minecraft and all the things that Mojang has placed out in the world. Read More...

It has just been announced that DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be hitting the Switch but no word on the previous Wolfenstein titles While not the most surprising move here by Bethesda, it now looks like Nintendo Switch owners can not only look forward to Skyrim making the jump over, but also Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and the most recent DOOM. All so you can take all of these titles on the go with you instead of just enjoying them in your home. At least that was the big push when Wolfenstein II and DOOM were added to the list of the most recent Nintendo Direct stream. Read More...

A new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins is here and gives us a good view of the figures behind all of the issues in the Assassin’s Creed franchise Given the setting for Assassin’s Creed Origins, it would not make complete sense to see the looming villains we have already seen time and time again in the rest of the franchise. At least in the shape and form we have known them to be all the way back to the original title. I am sure the Templars will still be a part of the game as it wouldn't be a full Assassin’s Creed title without them, but it does look like Ubisoft is taking us far back enough to see where they started from. A recent podcast with the director of God Of War has been placed out there and it goes a bit into the details of God Of War's runic magic and their use In the recent weeks, it would seem that we are getting new tidbits for God Of War seeping out and both on the side of gameplay mechanics and other on the side of aesthetics. Well, at least in terms of the concept art that Santa Monica Studios is using to make the game look amazing on the PS4. There have been a whole lot of those flying around as part of the marketing for God Of War, but now we have a little more to dig into here than just that. Read More...

It is time to find out if Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider will actually have you kill Dishonored's favorite morally ambiguous character, The Outsider In just a few days we will all be treated to Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This is the expansion coming from Arkane Studios for the franchise that will be building off the story of Billie Lurk and Daud and their new goal to kill the Outsider. I guess the title of the game kind of states all of that, but given that this is another Dishonored title, the killing of the Outsider is just an option we can take. At least that is the takeaway from the recent interview clip that Bethesda has just released as we all wait for September 15th to come around. Read More...

Another trailer for The Evil Within 2 is here and it shows a bit more of the action we can expect mixed into The Evil Within 2 when it launches If you like to have a lot of action in your horror games, then get ready to add The Evil Within 2 into the mix as the latest trailer definitely shows that there will be plenty of that mixed into the final game. Not that Tango Gameworks is going out of their way to make this game in that vein, but it certainly looks like there will be more of it in this title when compared to the prior one. So far, The Evil Within IP has been more of the true horror side of the spectrum, but maybe this was a call from on high over at Bethesda. Read More...

We sit down and review Maize. An adventure game all about surviving a bunker full of sentient corn. Here is our review of this Maize Late last year we saw Maize release out there for the PC world and only had glimmers of hope for when it would be making its way over to the PS4 and Xbox One. We all knew it was coming but it wasn't until September 12th that Finish Line Games was able to get the game to make the leap on over. Or the crawl. Read More...

The next tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and they are bringing teeth & claws into the mix of Shadow Of War's big fight Another week and now another of the tribes from Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is brought to us to look and get ready to deal with how we choose when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10th. We have seen some great ones already and now we have the Feral Tribe joining the ranks from Monolith Productions for the game. I was pretty sure that most Orcs out there in Shadow Of War were already feral in general, but I guess these ones are going even further into the stereotype here. Read More...

The pre-order costumes for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite are here to have a look at as you still decide if you will be picking up Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite soon In just over a week, we will be seeing Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That means that if you have been holding off on that pre-order for some reason, time is running out if you want to pick up some of the little extras that will be coming to the game for those who give Capcom their money early. Specifically the four character costumes that have been announced but not seen all too much for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite. These would be the costumes for Ryu, Mega Man, Hulk, and Thor. Read More...

It looks like Friday The 13th: The Game will be getting another new Jason skin, Weather Effects, and another location from Friday The 13th's universe There looks to be yet another version of Jason coming to Friday The 13th: The Game as the team over at IllFonic has now shown a small glimpse of the version from the fourth film that is out there. Not only that, but it also looks like we are going to be getting another map to run around and survive, or kill, on. Then to top it off even more, it looks like Gun Media has also let loose that we are going to be getting a new weather effect to add to the overall feel of Friday The 13th: The Game. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another short week of video games has now come to a close. Well, at least it has here as we take the weekend to play some of the titles we had to cover or get ready for everything that is to come. There are a lot of video games that were shown off this week that are to come and that just means we all have to get caught up with our backlog so it does not grow too large. All so we can focus on replaying L. Read More...

New gameplay for Biomutant has popped up online and it goes through the character creation of Biomutant as well as some of the starting combats Back at Gamescom we had our first look at Biomutant and were left to speculate on all of the ins and outs of the game as it was really just a cinematic trailer with an announcement that the game was in the works. Now we jump to the most recent PAX, and now we have some new gameplay foot age for the game so we can see what Experiment 101 is really up to with the game. Or at least get a good look and feel for what could be coming with Biomutant and if it truly fits into the list of titles that THQ Nordic is known to bring us as of late. Read More...
