A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with a bit of a wrap on this week of video games and for some of us, it is a huge day out there. Mainly for those of us out there that have been waiting to get to play Evil Dead: The Game and get any big news for the upcoming Alan Wake projects. Those not looking for any of that, though, did also get some updates for video games like Gotham Knights and the Dead Space remake that is coming. We even dug in and got a nice little review out there for the indie title Tape: Unveil The Memories. Read More...

Some of our tough questions asked for The Quarry could have some extra bearing on how The Quarry all pans out Generally, when it comes to random social media posts and marketing for games like The Quarry, it is easy to overlook some fun little things. Most of the time it is to help generate interest and hype for a game and Supermassive Games is definitely doing that with the June 10th release date coming up. Specifically, by asking fans questions about fears, trust, and perceptions. All of which we would normally ignore hear beyond getting more gameplay for The Quarry to look at. Read More...

Don't expect to play Starfield or Redfall this year as both Redfall & Starfield have been pushed back I do hope that you did not have your heart set on getting to experience Redfall or Starfield this year on the Xbox Series X|S or PC. Your heart is about to be broken if you did, as it looks like Arkane Austin and Bethesda Game Studios have some bad news for you. Both titles have been delayed now and will not be seeing the time of day until the first half of 2023. So at the worst, you will be able to play Starfield and Redfall by this time next year. There are a few new updates for the Alan Wake Remaster and Alan Wake 2 just off the back of a small anniversary celebration It is hard to believe that the original Alan Wake dropped on us all twelve years ago and we are only now getting a sequel to it all. That is not the big news here, but something worth thinking about when you notice how hard making video games can be. Especially when they are also trying to remaster the original and also bring us a TV show based around Alan Wake. A TV show that looks like will happen with AMC picking up the rights to make it finally. Read More...

New footage for the art and design we are getting in the Dead Space Remake is out here along with some new gameplay to help this Dead Space stand out more Well, it was a huge day for the Dead Space Remake here as we had a nice long look at the way that Motive Studios is giving it all a huge overhaul. This time it is all about the visuals and how the world, characters, lighting, and effects in the world have made some leaps and bounds since the game first launched so long ago. That should be expected given the run that the Dead Space IP has had up to now, we just get to see it all in some kind of action as well as how the team has put it all together for us. Read More...
