Marvel’s Midnight Suns Shows Us The Worst Things Than Death That Magik Will Bring
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of September 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Magik is finally here for Marvel’s Midnight Suns to show off a bit of what she will be bringing to the Midnight Suns roster The queen of Limbo is finally ready to make her debut into Marvel’s Midnight Suns, with Magik now stepping out to say hello. We all knew this one was coming, but it is nice to finally get to see and hear how she will function in the game based on Firaxis Games' interpretation of it all. It certainly feels like this is another of the core characters that the Midnight Suns are going to need to make sure things are properly handled out there. If not, then things would be looking fairly grim for the team when December 2nd rolls around and we get this experience on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More…

Death Is Going To Need To Earn Us In God Of War: Ragnarök
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of September 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
A new story trailer for God Of War: Ragnarök is here to prep us all for the next big chapter into the God Of War saga It feels like November 9th is never going to get here with each new epic bit of content we have for God Of War: Ragnarök get dropped out there. This latest bit is just as epic when it comes to everything Santa Monica Studio has offered thus far, but it does dive a bit into the story of things, so get ready for a few possible spoilers. Not that we have been able to always call the story beats of any of the God Of War titles as they hit, but just needed to note for those that want a completely pure experience when it hits the PS4 and PS5. Even if it does feel like it is just highlighting a few things we all knew was coming to the game beyond more of the parent struggles of raising a teenager in some harsh times out there. Read More…

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That puts a final wrap on this week and all of the video games we had to look at and get excited for here. On top of the big review we had for Circus Electrique, we also had D23 and a whole lot of other updates for various titles out there. Cyberpunk 2077 has some new DLC on the way, God Of War: Ragnarök showed off the new realms we will be able to explore, and Evil Dead: The Game expanded itself just a bit more to keep us all busy this weekend with so many video games out there. As long as you are willing to dive in and give them all a solid play instead of heading out to the various conventions going on out there currently. Read More…

As the name alludes to, it is a new title in the line that will have us back on the grid with Bithell Games helming this new out into the cyberspace. Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Will Be Bringing Us All The Wanderer Of The Rift
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of September 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
More Final Fantasy is on the way with another expansion coming for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin this October The second expansion is on the way to Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin to give us all a bit more to love in the mix. Not that we have not had a load of experiences with all of the IPs up to now, but Team NINJA is keeping this one going as the others are worked on. I am sure none of us can get enough of the Final Fantasy line, ironically, so far and this new bit is on the way to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 26th. A fairly solid cycle for this part of the IP while we still wait for the others to get some kind of massive update or release set up to get even more excited. Read More…

Let’s Dance With A Lot More Gameplay For Evil West
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of September 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
A massive amount of new gameplay for Evil West is finally here to give us all a good show why we have to wait for Evil West If you are some of the few still recovering from the delay of Evil West, it looks like you will have a little reprieve of things until November 22nd. Either that or a little more torment with the latest and long gameplay video that Flying Wild Hog has opted to give us all. A nice, new, and extended bit of gameplay for Evil West that walks us through around twelve minutes of footage that feels early in the game's story. I only mention that given what we do get to see and if there are any out there that are trying to keep away from any form of spoiler in the game. Read More…

This is all with the characters that Boss Team Games has been showing off up to now with Mia and David coming to the game as part of the Season Pass or standalone. There is also the Plaguebringer demon added in too, but that is more of the Army Of Darkness that we have had in Evil Dead: The Game already. No matter the case, today is the day that we have new survivors and demon added to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of September 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
The Hunter for Marvel’s Midnight Suns is here to show off how they will be a fully new character just for the Midnight Suns It is time to take a bit of a twist when it comes to the characters we are getting here for Marvel’s Midnight Suns with The Hunter on display completely now. This is going to be our point of view character in the game that Firaxis Games is going to let us fully customize just in case you were trying to figure out where in the comics they are from. In fact, this one is being touted as the first customizable Marvel character to date, even if I am guessing they will not exist outside of Marvel’s Midnight Suns here. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of September 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
The full release for Hello Puppets: Midnight Show is on its way to us and we have a new look at the puppets hidden in the world of Hello Puppets once more There seems to be a bit of a theme today with the circus and puppets out there, but here we go with a solid update for Hello Puppets: Midnight Show. Semi-solid more than anything, as we get further confirmation that Otherworld Interactive is setting down a Fall release for the game on the PC. Still well within the 2022 range that we had when Hello Puppets: Midnight Show was first given the light of day to show off what happened in the universe before the other title in the line. Review — Circus Electrique
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of September 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Circus Electrique. A turn-based RPG set in a Steampunk London setting. Here is our review of Circus Electrique We all love a spectacle and show to have out there in and outside of our games out there, and that seems to be a bit of the premise we have here for Circus Electrique. This is the latest turn-based RPG out of Zen Studios and Saber Interactive that gives that gameplay in the setting of a steampunk circus out there in London. That may seem like a whole lot to take in, but this is the Circus Electrique. Read More…

There Is More To Know About The Bat-Family In Gotham Knights
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of September 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for Gotham Knights is here to show off how each of the Gotham Knights was designed for us There have been some good breakdowns of each of the Bat Family for Gotham Knights out there, but it is time to go a little more behind-the-scenes with the crew we will get to experience. Some of it is a little more of what we have had from WB Games Montréal before now, but there is also a little more on the subtle things mixed in too. Things we might not fully understand at first look but it is good to know here for Gotham Knights. Read More…

Enter Into Svartalfheim With The Latest For God Of War: Ragnarök
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of September 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Another realm for God Of War: Ragnarök is finally here with the lands of the Dwarves putting the God Of War to new challenges We have been told that we will be able to go to all of the realms in God Of War: Ragnarök after having a few limited or just blocked out in the last title. It totally worked for the story but it felt odd that Santa Monica Studio still left the options in the game with telling us a big "no" when trying to access them. Thankfully, when God Of War: Ragnarök launches on November 9th for the PS4 and PS5, we will get access to those new worlds out there and we have a small sample of one of those realms right now. It is on the slight side, but here we go with a look at Svartalfheim in the game for us all for the first time. Read More…
