Looks Like We Will Be Able To Facebook Stalk With The Oculus Rift Soon

Facebook is set to purchase Oculus for around two billion dollars. What does this exactly mean though? It was announced yesterday that Facebook has reached an agreement to purchase Oculus VR, the makers of the Oculus Rift headset, for about two billion dollars. Not all in cash mind you. Only $400 million of that will be in "cash" the rest of the $1.6 billion in Facebook stock. That is all upfront as well as $300 million more is offered if Oculus VR can hit certain milestones that are still yet to be defined at the writing of this article. Read More...

With everything going on as of late for Irrational and 2K I almost forgot that BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea — Episode Two was on the verge of launching. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. Talk about an exciting week in gaming. It was to be expected given the fact that GDC was happening this week and I feel bad that we couldn't cover every aspect of gaming in the news here. The classic arcade, button mashing game Gauntlet is getting a 2014 remake this summer. We have the announcement trailer and everything. Some of you may be too young to remember Gauntlet in classic arcades. Hells, you may be too young to remember classic arcades as well. I do and Warner Bros hopes that some of our readers will as well because that is one of the things they are trying to capitalize on with Gauntlet. A new fact sheet for Dishonored II has surfaced describing a bit more as well as a 2016 release window. It's only been a few days since we first saw the possible 'leak' of Dishonored II and now we have some follow up 'leakage'. As Bethesda doesn't respond to rumors and speculation none of this can be confirmed at all as of yet but we have another item to lead to the announcement of Dishonored II. Microsoft Picks Up Gears Of War. What Does That Mean?

Microsoft purchases the Gears Of War franchise from Epic Games this week and tasks Black Tusk Studios to continue the franchise. What does this exactly mean though? All of you Gears Of War fans should be dancing in the streets right now. While yes the news is just about Microsoft picking up the franchise it also makes it completely obvious that there will be a Gears Of War coming to the Xbox One and going forward. So the franchise isn't just dead in the water after the lackluster acceptance of Gears Of War: Judgment. I will still go on record and state that I was not a big fan of the BioShock Infinite story but the Burial At Sea DLC has kind of attracted my interest. Not because it is back in rapture, but it seems to have what the first two titles had; an interesting and creative storyline.
