Resident Evil 7 Is Getting A Real World Experience To Bring Us More Horror
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 A new event for Resident Evil 7 has been announced and will physically place people in the world of Resident Evil 7 and all of its horror As if Resident Evil 7 wasn't already terrifying enough with just the visuals and taking away the VR experience, but it looks like things are going to get a lot scarier for those who opt to take the plunge. As it looks, Capcom is bringing a real-world version of the house from the upcoming title and having people play out some of the events in real life as well. Yes, this is more or less a Resident Evil 7 haunted house that will be coming just before the launch of the game on January 24th. Read More...

CES New hardware and partnerships for VirZOOM at CES 2017 have led us to a place where the first vSports event could be held at CES this year It is a rare instance that we have something here that is about health here but seeing as gaming is getting mixed in we had to have a look at the VirZOOM during CES this year. More so when you look at it as we are getting some of the first vSporting events out here as well. That was at least one of the goals that aimed to be met with the mixture of VR, a stationary bike, and the VirZOOM system all mixed in. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Ties That Bind Part II. This is the second episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did Thankfully there was no real down time between the first episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and the second. That is outside of the time required to download the content as Telltale Games did give us some back to back work here. Hopefully it is a taste of things to come with all of their IPs but for now we are here to focus on The Walking Dead. Read More...

Killer Instinct Reimagined Thunder In One Of The Best Ways Possible
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Killer Instinct A new look at how Killer Instinct's Thunder was redesigned from the ground up to give Killer Instinct a more traditional New Perce look and feel In a time when cultural insensitivity is at a high it is nice to see, even though unexpected, to see that Killer Instinct is trying to keep things traditional for fans of the game. Not in terms of gameplay and mechanics here as that is something that Iron Galaxy Studios is always working and tweaking for us but in the way that they have taken the Nez Perce character of Thunder and made him fit more with the traditions instead of what is thought to be traditions. At least as close as Killer Instinct can be with the current state of the tribe. Read More...

Prey Could Be A New Horror Game If The AI So Chooses It For Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Prey In a recent interview for Prey it was revealed that Prey could end up being a new horror game based on how the AI works with its abilities Up to now Prey has been generally shown off as a nice action filled space adventure, of sorts, but since a recent interview on how some of the creatures react in the game it looks like Arkane Studios may have also made a horror game in the mix. At least if the AI of the game has anything to say about it as it looks like those Mimics in the game are not going to be scripted events but all how the game will react at will. That's right, Prey's little beasts will create random jump scares and tense situations just by doing what they do in general. Read More...

Data-Mining May Have Revealed Resident Evil 7 DLC & The Final Boss
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Some new, possible, details for Resident Evil 7 may have emerged out of the most recent Resident Evil 7 demo to hit the PC Some new details for Resident Evil 7 may have just been found hidden the most recent PC demo that released earlier this week and some of it all points to some solid story tidbits, possible DLC, and who we might see as a final boss in the game. Of course none of this is confirmed by Capcom as it still falls into that whole rumor category but if it is true it could mean that we will see how it fits into the overall Resident Evil world. That and Resident Evil 7 would be getting a card game and a whole chapter of the game based around just puzzles and horror instead of all of the other stuff that we will see get mixed in. Injustice 2 Gives Us A Bit More Supergirl To Gaze Upon For Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A new breakdown video for Injustice 2 has been released and this one showcases Injustice 2's version of Supergirl in action and explains a bit of her moves & combos It's been a while since we had something new to see for Injustice 2 and I know I was hoping that we would have seen the roster expanded a bit more by now. Especially since the recent PSX or The Game Awards would have been a perfect place for NetherRealm Studios to show off some new and old characters coming to the game. Sadly none of that was the case and we've been left wanting for more Injustice 2 to enjoy. Read More...

Dishonored 2 Adds Even More Ways To Play In Your Own Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 The first big update for Dishonored 2 brings in a lot of fixes and new game plus to Dishonored 2 so you can choose just how the game plays out yet again Hopefully by now you have had the chance to play and experience Dishonored 2 at least once by now. At least that is the hope for most of you from not only myself but the team over at Arkane Studios. The reason for that is the fact that the first major update for Dishonored 2 has just dropped for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game and will be bringing us all New Game+ in the mix. Of course there are many other things to come along with the update but that of course is one of the bigger additions. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The PC version of the Resident Evil 7 demo has been released and we already have a look at Resident Evil 7 running with some great gaming specs Good news for all those PC gamers who wanted to give Resident Evil 7 a try just as those PS4 and Xbox One gamers have been for a bit now. The Beginning Hour demo has finally hit Steam for all of you to give it all a play and see what Capcom has set up for us all when January 24th finally hits us all next year. Still such a long wait for Resident Evil 7 but I have full faith that it will be worth it and that is just based on the slowly released version of the demo and not what everyone no has access to go out and download right now. ARK: Survival Evolved Is Going Virtual With Newly Announced ARK Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
ARK Park A new VR experience is coming with ARK Park as it will expand on aspects of the core title that ARK Park's VR would only be able to deliver to us all We've seen a few VR experiences that give us a feel for Jurassic Park but it looks like we are going to be getting a solid on here with ARK Park in 2017. At least a version that does what the original parks were intending to do without all of the crazy need to not be killed by dinosaur's aspect of it all. I guess Snail Games is going to leave all of that to ARK: Survival Evolved given that ARK Park is based in the same game universe and all about the fun experiences and not the dread of having to outrun all of those horrible beasts. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Will Be Giving Us Many Ways To Start Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Details on how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will carry over all the saved data from the previous The Walking Dead titles has been detailed out a bit more It feels like it was waiting until the last minute, but as it looks we have a clue as to how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be keeping our saved data from the last two seasons to bring it all over when we spin up the new episodes on December 20th. This has been something that I know I was curious on how Telltale Games was going to do it and now we have an answer of sorts. It looks like we will have three options as detailed and they will give us a large variable on where we will start the game off with Clementine and A. Read More...

The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been placed out there and it shows more of The Walking Dead's characters are going to crossover This week marked the break of the TV version of The Walking Dead and next week we get to go back into the world with The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's first two episodes of the season. It's almost as if Telltale Games planned all of this out to happen this way. Granted this episodic version will be spread out over months instead of weeks after the initial debut on December 20th but that doesn't mean that fans won't keep craving it. Read More...
