There Is More To The Dying Light Story Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A new story trailer for Dying Light is out and it shows that there is more to the story than we've been given so far As we assumed before when we saw the first 15 minutes or so of Dying Light there is going to be one interesting story that will hopefully explain what is going on in the world of the game. Well it looks like Techland and Warner Bros. have decided to give us a bit more insight on the story of Dying Light as now we have the official story trailer for the game. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/1/14 — 12/5/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 6th of December 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games While technically this posting is a wrap up for what happened in the work week for video games, there is so much going on over the weekend that I'm going to use it for a springboard to cover The Game Awards and the PlayStation Experience that will be kicking off shortly after you have finished reading what I am typing here. You may also have a bit of time to dig into some of the other gaming news we've had on the site over the week as well. If nothing else you can at least read through our review for Game Of Thrones — Iron From Ice while waiting or getting set up to watch the re-broadcasts of whatever you may want to see this weekend. Godzilla Is Coming To Wreck The Game Awards
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Looks like Godzilla is going to have a showing at the Game Awards as well as a possible North American release for the PS3 title Laugh all you want but it looks like Godzilla will be making and official showing in Las Vegas, NV. I'm of course talking about the game and not the king of the monsters or any of his adversaries. Even in the most recent film for Godzilla the beast never actually stepped foot in the city but it looks like he has changed his mind about destroying Sin City. I think that is enough joshing around. The Fun Of Getting Around Harran In Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Dying Light has been released showing off the many different ways you can get around Harran while free-running Here we go with another gameplay video for Dying Light to show off all the free movement we are going to have when the game finally launches next year. This has to be the biggest selling point and new innovation for Techland and Warner Bros. given it is coming out around the same time as a whole bunch of other zombie titles. We wouldn't want Dying Light to become some kind of white noise in the background of all the zombie killing we are going to be doing on our PS4 or Xbox One do we? Read More...

More Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Footage To Blow Your Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Part two of the Batman: Arkham Knight Ace Chemicals gameplay has been released and it shows off how hardcore the Batmobile is truly going to be We have the second part of the latest Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay now. I am still not sure why Warner Bros. or Rocksteady thought they had to split the gameplay footage into two parts but none the less they did. Just like before it may be new to some of you in the aspect of having something to ingest with your eyes but you should have had a word picture painted for you with words by now; if you've been reading anything worth a damn online about Batman: Arkham Knight from the recent cons and game shows. I've tried at least. Read More...

Check Out The First Assignment For Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Dying Light has been released and it gives more background on the game's world and overarching story line There is nothing like spoiling the first bit of a game and now we get to spoil the first "mission" of Dying Light. Well more IGN was allowed to do so as Techland and Warner Bros. can secure completely positive responses from them and not many others out there. Why else do you think the first bit of exclusive Xbox One gameplay went there and not to the social accounts for Dying Light or the companies involved with making and publishing the game? Review: Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The first episode and debut of Tales From The Borderlands is now here. This has been one of those most talked about titles and fans of the Borderlands franchise have been questioning its worth since the first announcement about a year ago. This is a huge franchise with a lot of rabid fans so Telltale had their work cut out to make Gearbox's franchise prosper in a non-FPS way. Did they hit the nail on the head or is this just another QTE sit and watch a predictable plot. Read More...

New Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay For The Watching
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A truncated version of the E3 Batman: Arkham Knight demo has been released to show the world how bad-ass Batman is going to be You've been waiting for some new Batman: Arkham Knight footage and it looks like Rocksteady and Warner Bros. are ready to oblige you with that want. We have some "new" gameplay for Batman: Arkham Knight just a bit below and it is… nothing all too new except for those who have yet to make it to a trade show or major convention. While the footage is quite cool and shows off Arkham Knight rather well, don't read into all the hype that everyone else is placing on it as it isn't anything too new for most. Then again, I am looking at this as someone who has been neck deep in all of the gameplay and news that has come out for Batman: Arkham Knight since we first received the announcement. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Games, games, and more games has been the huge theme for the last few weeks. Not just in news but in video game releases. I'm Not Sure If These Are Traps In Dying Light Or Not
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Dying Light has been released to show off some of the 'traps' that we will get to use to handle the zombie plague I think my definition of traps is vastly different than those of the people behind Dying Light's marketing. We have a new trailer for Dying Light just below that claims to show off the traps of the game but most of what is show is that of the player using the environment to their advantage and nothing lying in wait. The whole point of a trap is to set something up so that you can have it spring on something while you are busy handling something else isn't it? Semantics aside though we do get to see some more fun ways to kill the infected in Dying Light. Read More...

Care To Hear What Gearbox Has To Say About Tales From The Borderlands?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
A new interview for Tales From The Borderlands from Gearbox has been released showing off what the original dev team has to say about their IP getting the Telltale treatment It looks like Gearbox has a few choice words to use when talking about Tales From The Borderlands and how it is being handled by Telltale. Gearbox has offered up the overall narrative for Tales From The Borderlands as it will affect the way any future iterations of the Borderlands franchise will play out but everything else is on Telltale. In this most recent interview from the original team that made us fall in love with their first person shooter they have a few things to say and they are all… Very positive. Read More...

And Our Game Awards Nominees Are…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
The nominees for The Game Awards have been announced and some are still open for YOU to vote on Love the idea or hate it but The Game Awards are coming here in a few weeks and the nominees and categories have been announced. Some of these were done yesterday via Geoff Keighley and the organization's official Twitch account. The bulk of them were released directly on The Game Awards website. A site that kind of makes things a bit difficult to get all the information you want in one quick and easy way so I've taken it upon myself to give the quick and easy way to look at all the games, developers, and performers that will be up to win whatever prize or trophy The Game Awards is offering up. Review: Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom. Does It do the franchise justice or is it another cash in for the kids who love this stuff? None the less here is our review What time is it?! It's Adventure Time… well at least it's time for us to review Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom. Of course this would be the latest installment for the franchise in video game form from WayForward Technologies and Little Orbit for the PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, 3DS, and PC. The first time I believe an Adventure Time title has been on these specific platforms and the 3DS but that's another issue. Read More...
