by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
World War Z A new gameplay overview for World War Z: Aftermath is here to tease us with all the new features coming to World War Z this Fall It is time to take a walk through World War Z: Aftermath to see the latest that we will get added into the game of it all. There is going to be more to this expansion than just the new locations and weapons in the game, and Saber Interactive is ready to spoil us on those details for now. The best kind of spoilers, as it only shows off what we should expect to get to play with in World War Z this Fall and the other little upgrades that are coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Those are more of the visual and performance side of things more than anything as all of the gameplay stuff will hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC when it all drops out there too. Read More...

Back 4 Blood Shows Off Its Style Coming To The PC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Back 4 Blood A new look at Back 4 Blood shows us how Back 4 Blood will be looking on the PC if you have the hardware to run it Those looking to get down on Back 4 Blood over on the PC will be happy to see the latest update that we have for the game here. Technically, those that have the latest consoles could keep an eye on this too, as the update we have is a look at how the game is going to look on the PC if you have the hardware to run it all and get the amazing visuals listed here. I have faith that Turtle Rock will do what they can to get it to look the same on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but this is going to be one of those for the specific gamers out there. Sadly, those looking at Back 4 Blood for the PS4 and Xbox One will just be getting a bit of jealousy here or the urge to try to upgrade just a bit more for this title. Read More...

Back 4 Blood Will Be Offering Up Some PvP In A Familiar Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Back 4 Blood Back 4 Blood will have a PvP mode mixed in for us all to take the horrors of Back 4 Blood on the attack Given the team working on Back 4 Blood, it was easy to assume that we could be seeing some form of PvP in the mix at some point. When it came to other titles from Turtle Rock, it took a bit and came post-launch. It looks like we are not going to have to wait further than October 12th for that to hit Back 4 Blood, though, as it was announced during E3 that we will be seeing a PvP mode in the mix of it all then. That would be the launch date for the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
World War Z The reveal for World War Z: Aftermath is here out of E3 to drag our bodies back into the horrors of the World War Z IP Those pesky dead just will not stay that way, as we head back out in the recently revealed World War Z: Aftermath out of E3. This is the next expansion to the title that Saber Interactive gave us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC not too long ago. It will also be hitting the PS5 and Xbox Series X through backward compatibility and later as a full release. You do not even need to own the original World War Z title to get access to it all, although owning it does bring the cost of this expansion quite a bit. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Elden Ring The release date for Elden Ring is set down and we finally have some gameplay to look at for Elden Ring to further excite There was a whole lot of waiting and a whole lot of speculation out there for Elden Ring and when we would be able to see some actual gameplay for the game. From Software has a solid pedigree behind it and a whole lot of rabid fans that will get hyped over hearing that they have a new title coming. Something that, before now, felt like what was driving all of the hype for Elden Ring since it was first announced. It has been over a year since we had something solid to look at and it does look like the team is finally ready to show off just what we will be playing on January 21st of 2022. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of June 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Gods, this was a fast week here for us and all of the lead-up for so many video games. A lead-up that will most likely pay off next week with the virtual E3 popping off and so many updates coming to us during the week. Maybe we will get a solid update on the next God Of War or more for Horizon Forbidden West than we got this week. I have a feeling there will be a whole lot for the various Far Cry video games we had this week too. Read More...

We Are Going To Have To Wait A Bit More For Ragnarök In God Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War The next God Of War title has been hit with a delay and we will be waiting until 2022 to head back into God Of War We are going to have to wait for Ragnarök to come just a bit more, as the next God Of War title has been delayed now. Not by a few months but delayed until 2022 now. It is sad news to have here as a huge God Of War fan, for sure, but Santa Monica Studio has yet to let me and most down by taking the time they need to make their games. That and the delay here is to make sure that they are able to keep the studio safe and healthy during the transitions we are still working with here. This feels like it is going to be the case we are going to have for a few of the other massive titles that had the majority of their development during the previous year here. Read More...

Meet Your Cleaners Coming To Clear The Ridden In Back 4 Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of May 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Back 4 Blood The characters we will have in Back 4 Blood are highlighted in the latest trailer showing them do what they do best in Back 4 Blood It might sound a bit off, but the cleaners are lined up for our inspection for Back 4 Blood so we can start to work on our gameplay strategies. To clarify, this would be the description given to us for the character classes we will have as they are referred to in the game universe. Given the fact that they are out there trying to clean up the world from the "Ridden" in Back 4 Blood, it makes a bit of sense but not something we generally use when it comes to gameplay elements. The same goes for how Turtle Rock is bringing these infected to us too. Read More...

Back 4 Blood Is Keeping Things Dynamic With All Of Its Cards
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of May 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Back 4 Blood A new look at how the cards in Back 4 Blood will be able to modify the matches and keep Back 4 Blood feeling dynamic at all times There is still a wait for us to be able to fully experience what Back 4 Blood is going to bring us in the amazing zombie shooter camp. There had to be some good reasons for the delay and I think we might be getting a good look at what to expect will get some upgrades in the game. Not that Turtle Rock has not mentioned anything about the card system in Back 4 Blood before now, but it does look like there is a lot more going on in the latest video we have that dives right into the mix of all of that. Something that will most likely be fleshed completely out before October 12th when the game hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Read More...

Deduce A Few More Answers For The Coming Sherlock Holmes Chapter One
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Sherlock More answers are given for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One to get us ready to play as well as inhabit the role of Sherlock Holmes again Just as the IP should be doing here, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One has been leaving us with a whole lot of questions about the game to try to figure out along the way to see if we are ready to experience this version of the character's origin. Unlike the IP should, in my opinion, we are no getting hand fed some of those answers from Frogwares so we do not have to think about it too hard. Sure, this is all in a way to help us figure out if we should give Sherlock Holmes Chapter One our money and time, but…well, I guess that is a good reason. Read More...

Here Is Just How Far Advanced The Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect A new comparison video for the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is here to show how far we have come from the original Mass Effect It should come as no surprise that the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is going to look, visually, superior to the original version of it all. That is kind of the whole reason that we are getting this new version of the game from BioWare so we can experience the way our brains remember it all and not the way it actually was. Yes, this is a slam to not only Mass Effect but all of those games from years ago we remember were "groundbreaking" in the visual department and not just the gameplay ones. All of which is something I can already feel my future self thinking as we all look back at how our current titles look. Read More...
