Rumors Were True As Rise Of The Tomb Raider Hits PS4 In 2016
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The rumors have been confirmed as it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider will have a PC and a PS4 release date in 2016 It looks like all those prayers worked everyone as Rise Of The Tomb Raider is now officially heading to the PS4 and PC. That's great news for everyone except the PS3 owners. The bad news in this is that it will be another year before Crystal Dynamics will be able to get Rise Of The Tomb Raider off the Xbox 360 and Xbox One as both versions are slated for a 2016 release window. The PC version getting an "Early 2016" and the PS4 version getting a "Holiday 2016" timeline. None the less Rise Of The Tomb Raider's state of being only on Xbox will only be for November 10th and moving into next year until the other platforms get their go at the game. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/13/15 — 7/17/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 11:10 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It's been an intense last few weeks in video games and the news and I'm sorry we've missed a few recaps for the week. I blame E3 and SDCC for being so closely crammed together and there being so many new video games and experiences to have to cover. We are small but we are mighty when it comes to covering our video games. If we weren't you wouldn't have had those track listings for both Rock Band 4 and Guitar Hero Live to go through here. Flow Through History With Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Our first look at Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey even though it has been talked about for a few months now and we feel bad Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey wasn't on the radar I always feel lost and late to the game when little things like Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey falls through the cracks in the mix of other huge titles talked about and released. You most likely missed out on this as well given the fact that there wasn't more than a base concept talked about from developer Panache Digital Games. That and when not many things are fully shown or talked about Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey in a word of required visuals it slips very easily. Read More...

Two More Possible Characters For Drawn To Death Shown Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Two more characters for Drawn To Death and their design process have been shown off and the design team wants to know your opinion It's only been about a month since we had our fist look at a new character for Drawn To Death so it seems about right for us to get another. How about two more? Well that is what we have eyes on here as the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency has released the high concepts for two more possible character for Drawn To Death. One tentatively named King Tut who employs ancient Egyptian style weapons and the other being tentatively named Sci-Fi Ninja. That character's abilities and weapons in Drawn To Death should be kind of self explanetory for the most layperson out there. Read More...

Prototype Biohazard Bundle Brings Both Titles Back For The Next Gen Systems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The Prototype Biohazard Bundle has been quietly released and is bringing Prototype and Prototype 2 to the next gen systems as of today Talk about the most silent release ever as the Prototype Biohazard Bundle is available as you are reading this and I have not even heard of its existence to date. This would be a HD remsatered bundle of Radical Entertainment's amazing titles [Prototype] and [Prototype 2]. Yea it is another HD remaster for the PS4 and Xbox One but you would think that Activision would have at least mentioned something in passing before today to get more people buzzing about the Prototype Biohazard Bundle and make sure people ar buying this digital version of the games. There has to be some good reason right? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new video has been released to show off all of the different ways you will be able to play missions in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain If you thought what you saw for the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain E3 demo was everything you needed to see until it releases on September 1st then you are a bit mistaken. Just as it was the case in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Kojima Productions has completely set up every mission to be handled in various manners. Some of them are stealthy like we have already seen while other are a straight up air assault on the compounds in the game. Read More...

A Bit Of Story & A Trailer For Minecraft: Story Mode Have Released
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
During Minecon 2015 the first bit of story for Minecraft: Story Mode, as well as a trailer, have been released with all the Minecraft goodness included We've waited patiently for anything new for Minecraft: Story Mode since its first announcement and now we have a bit more to work with. It would make sense that Telltale would wait until Minecon to release all of this as it is the Minecraft convention and all. I never in this life cycle thought I would say that we needed or had a want for a Minecraft convention but we do and this is where Minecraft: Story Mode was first shown off to the world. That and the internet but that should be a given. Read More...

Time For A Bit More Story On Tom Clancy's The Division
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of July 2015 - 04:59 PM ]
We've seen a lot of gameplay for Tom Clancy's The Division but only a bit of story but thankfully here is a bit more on that for The Division There are a lot of people out there excited for The Division to finally launch on March 8th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I know I am excited to see if the visual quality is upheld by Ubisoft or just upgraded for E3 demos and such. I also know that a lot of people flipped over The Division after seeing the new gameplay at E3. Maybe not on my social accounts but it was all the buzz around the booths on the show floor. Rumor Mill: A Rise Of The Tomb Raider PS4 Release Window Announced?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new rumor has been cropped up around Rise Of The Tomb Raider from the guys over at The Know placing Rise Of The Tomb Raider's PS4 launch in late 2016 Nothing gets the morning juices flowing like a good old fashioned rumor and this one here is for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. This time it is all over the release date for the game. No, not the already announced release date of November 10th that Crystal Dynamics is aiming to hit for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the game but about when we might be seeing Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4. I'm also guessing that this would also cover the PS3 version of the game as I am sure that Square Enix wouldn't want to miss out on the funds and whole other platform to market too. Read More...

Here's That Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain 2015 E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
For those who were not able to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in action at E3 2015 we have you covered with over 40 minutes of The Phantom Pain gameplay Not too surprising was the fact that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was one of the big titles that Konami had on the show floor for many to see at E3. What was a bit surprising, especially given all of the Kojima Productions drama, was the fact that their main demo was out in the open for all to see at specific intervals during the show. I would have thought that they would have had The Phantom Pain behind closed doors to keep questions to a minimum as they have in the past but I guess with the September 1st release date coming they wanted as many players seeing why they should pick up The Phantom Pain for their PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PC. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Finally we are back on track and getting all of the video game news and updates finally out there from E3. There was a whole lot to cover in the world of video games and we did our best to get everything we could during and after the week. This included some great hands on impressions for Mad Max, Guitar Hero Live, Drawn To Death, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate. These were also only some of the video games we were able to get to and we all know that there was a whole lot more but our team is limited here and we can only get to so many video games in the day. E3 2015 Hands On — Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Drawn To Death In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It There were games at E3 I had to see and then there where games like Drawn To Death that I HAD to see on the show floor. The prior meaning a work required viewing and the later a personal need and the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency and Sony San Diego were able to comply in both a booth format as well as a fan experience while out there at E3. No better way than to show off how far Drawn To Death has progressed since PSX and get us all excited for this PS4 exclusive to launch sometime in the near future. At least hopefully near future as after playing Drawn To Death again I want to have it at my beckon call at all times. Read More...

Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Square Enix Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below One down for today and now we are on to the second press event for E3 day one with Square Enix and what they have to show. I'm kind of at a loss given the world premiere videos that were shown already from the Square Enix catalog. Maybe they will dig more into the Final Fantasy VII Remake video and information but doubtful. Maybe we will see a surprise for Kingdom Hearts 3 here or a new Chrono Trigger title. Read More...

Watch PlayStation's 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of June 2015 - 01:13 AM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The PlayStation Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below He we go for the wrap of the day's press events at E3 with PlayStation's big showcasing. Always going last in the list of things and trying to save the best for last to take on the rivals and have something to show that hasn't been shown at any of the other events thus far. Maybe we will hear that PlayStation 4 will be fully backwards compatible just as the Xbox One was announced. That would be a huge kicker outside of seeing Uncharted 4 in action as well as most likely seeing something for Final Fantasy XV and/or Kingdom Hearts 3. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of June 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Ubisoft Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below That is three large E3 press conferences down and two more to go. Next up on the docket is Ubisoft and their usual titles and franchises that we get every year at E3's past. Ubisoft hasn't been too quiet on what we are going to be getting from them with a few additional things mixed in.
