The cult from The Chant is on full display again and this time with more from the cast that will bring The Chant to life There have been some extra looks at The Chant in the past that hinted at the otherworldly elements that we would have to handle when the game launches, but now they are in full force here. It looks as if Brass Token has opted to stop tiptoeing around the cosmic horror side of things and give us all a look at the madness we will have to face in addition to the cult that our protagonist is getting inducted into. Even if it does look like it is all supposed to be some New Age mumbo-jumbo in The Chant, we can now see how dark things are going to go and how we are going to have to figure out how to fight back. Unawake A new apocalypse game, Unawake, is announced with Unawake offering up some new story-based progression The trend of apocalypses and dystopian futures is carrying on with our next big announcement we have for Unawake. It is another action title that will use the power of UE5 to give us some amazing visuals to run around in with Toplitz Productions offering up a massive story to us all in the mix too. That is the promise of it all that we have with this announcement, at the very least. SERUM Another survival title, SERUM, is on the way with SERUM taking on some amazing features from some massive games If you enjoyed titles like The Forest and BioShock and thought they would work well if mixed together, then you will be amped up to see the announcement for SERUM. This is the latest title to come from Game Island and Toplitz Productions coming to the PC in 2023. That is still quite a ways out, but that gives us all the perfect amount of time to get ready for SERUM to suck us in and drive home more of the horror our video games can hold for us. Oddworld More Oddworld fans will be able to play Oddworld: Soulstorm with the game heading its way out to the Switch It may have taken a bit, but Oddworld: Soulstorm is now officially on its way to the Nintendo Switch. It has been a long time coming and now Oddworld Inhabitants has it to a place where they are ready to let the news fly. The only drawback is that there is no word on when Oddworld: Soulstorm will be hitting the system, so you will have to wait just a bit longer. Not just a catchy title but also the point of the game that Spiral Bound Interactive is working on for the PC. A new title that is looking to blend a lot of our 90s nostalgia from video games back into the mix while offering up a bit of a twist to the "roguelike" gameplay loop. Terminator The Terminator IP is coming back and finally giving us a true survival game set in the Terminator timeline After so many other games in the Terminator IP out there, we are finally getting a true survival game in the mix out there. This also felt like the IP that would have done well in this setting and it is odd that it has taken so long to actually get one in the works out there. This one being another from NACON and will be coming to the PC, and consoles (most likely PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) after all of the FPS and other versions of the Terminator have been brought forth before now.
