Scalebound Has Been Officially Cancelled By Microsoft Studios
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Scalebound After being a staple title at conventions it looks like Scalebound has been given the axe as Microsoft has cancelled Scalebound officially now I hope you weren't too invested in the Scalebound hype that had been pushed out there since its first announcement back in 2014 as it looks like the game is now dead and cancelled. It is official from Microsoft Studios that they have decided to end production on the game to focus on other titles that are still slated for 2017. This is also after opting to delay Scalebound back in 2016 to give Platinum Games more time to bring us the game that was envisioned and also shown off at the many gaming conventions since it was announced. Injustice 2 Has An Official Release Date Now…For The Americas…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 The Injustice 2 release date rumors have been put to rest as Injustice 2 now has an official release date for the Americas It looks like all of those rumors for Injustice 2 releasing on March 28th have been put to rest. Not only has NetherRealm Studios' game director stepped out to state that the dates listed online were false, but he went one step further and gave us all the actual date; something that we wish would happen every time a huge rumor crops up. None the less though, it looks like Injustice 2 will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th of this year. At least that is the release date in the American region of the world as the other regions were left out of all of this release date fun. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Ties That Bind Part II. This is the second episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did Thankfully there was no real down time between the first episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and the second. That is outside of the time required to download the content as Telltale Games did give us some back to back work here. Hopefully it is a taste of things to come with all of their IPs but for now we are here to focus on The Walking Dead. Read More...

A New Game Mode Is Coming To Windows 10 To Give Even Better PC Gaming Options
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Game Mode A leaked build for Windows 10 shows that a new Game Mode option is on the way & this Game Mode will help games run even smoother on the PC As if PC Gaming wasn't already top-notch, it looks like there is a new Game Mode in the works for Windows 10 that is going to make it even better. How is that? Well if the reports are true then this new mode is going to minimize the resources running on your system when Game Mode is activated and direct that saved potential toward making your games run smoother, faster, and look much better. At least if you have a system that can do all of this in the first place. Read More...

Killer Instinct Reimagined Thunder In One Of The Best Ways Possible
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Killer Instinct A new look at how Killer Instinct's Thunder was redesigned from the ground up to give Killer Instinct a more traditional New Perce look and feel In a time when cultural insensitivity is at a high it is nice to see, even though unexpected, to see that Killer Instinct is trying to keep things traditional for fans of the game. Not in terms of gameplay and mechanics here as that is something that Iron Galaxy Studios is always working and tweaking for us but in the way that they have taken the Nez Perce character of Thunder and made him fit more with the traditions instead of what is thought to be traditions. At least as close as Killer Instinct can be with the current state of the tribe. Read More...

Prey Could Be A New Horror Game If The AI So Chooses It For Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Prey In a recent interview for Prey it was revealed that Prey could end up being a new horror game based on how the AI works with its abilities Up to now Prey has been generally shown off as a nice action filled space adventure, of sorts, but since a recent interview on how some of the creatures react in the game it looks like Arkane Studios may have also made a horror game in the mix. At least if the AI of the game has anything to say about it as it looks like those Mimics in the game are not going to be scripted events but all how the game will react at will. That's right, Prey's little beasts will create random jump scares and tense situations just by doing what they do in general. Read More...

Injustice 2 Gives Us A Bit More Supergirl To Gaze Upon For Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A new breakdown video for Injustice 2 has been released and this one showcases Injustice 2's version of Supergirl in action and explains a bit of her moves & combos It's been a while since we had something new to see for Injustice 2 and I know I was hoping that we would have seen the roster expanded a bit more by now. Especially since the recent PSX or The Game Awards would have been a perfect place for NetherRealm Studios to show off some new and old characters coming to the game. Sadly none of that was the case and we've been left wanting for more Injustice 2 to enjoy. Read More...

Dishonored 2 Adds Even More Ways To Play In Your Own Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 The first big update for Dishonored 2 brings in a lot of fixes and new game plus to Dishonored 2 so you can choose just how the game plays out yet again Hopefully by now you have had the chance to play and experience Dishonored 2 at least once by now. At least that is the hope for most of you from not only myself but the team over at Arkane Studios. The reason for that is the fact that the first major update for Dishonored 2 has just dropped for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game and will be bringing us all New Game+ in the mix. Of course there are many other things to come along with the update but that of course is one of the bigger additions. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Details on how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will carry over all the saved data from the previous The Walking Dead titles has been detailed out a bit more It feels like it was waiting until the last minute, but as it looks we have a clue as to how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be keeping our saved data from the last two seasons to bring it all over when we spin up the new episodes on December 20th. This has been something that I know I was curious on how Telltale Games was going to do it and now we have an answer of sorts. It looks like we will have three options as detailed and they will give us a large variable on where we will start the game off with Clementine and A. Read More...

More Story Is Coming To Uncharted With Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Uncharted At PSX it was shown that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was going to be coming as a massive story DLC bit for Uncharted 4 to carry it on just a little further If you were able to catch anything out of PSX then you know that it all started off with a bang with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy getting shown off. Some thought it could have been another Tomb Raider thing and a few other ideas were floating around but none the less Naughty Dog is bringing yet another great experience to the PS4 with this extra bit of DLC. That's right, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is some DLC for Uncharted 4 in the end; but it is the biggest story DLC that the developers have ever put out and it will keep you playing the final game just a bit longer so that is all good. Delve Deeper Into Prey With A Lot Of New Gameplay & Abilities
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Prey More gameplay for Prey has been shown off and this time we get to see the new mechanics for Prey as well as how we can harness those damned aliens We've seen a lot of stuff for Prey so far and it is looking like it could shape up to be another killer game from Arkane Studios. It has even posed a lot of interesting questions around the net but mostly it all boils down to what will the game play like outside of the basic first person shooter kind of title. The teasers and announcement trailer for Prey so far haven't done much on the gameplay side of everything but they have given a whole lot of story. Now we get to flip it all as we have a nice new eight minute video of gameplay where a lot of the game's details get fleshed out just a bit more. Read More...

LEGO Worlds Will Be Opening Up To Consoles Early Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
LEGO Worlds It looks like LEGO Worlds is leaving the Early Access and soon LEGO Worlds will be able to be experienced by PC gamers to console gamers real soon Since last year gamers have been able to experience LEGO Worlds through Steam's Early Access of the game. They've been able to help TT Games shape the game into something that they want and will hopefully be something that the mass audience out there will also want. At least I am going to guess that is what Warner Bros. wants for the game. Read More...
