Halo 5: Guardians has been officially announced now by 343 Studios for the Xbox One next year. Microsoft has just announced a new Xbox One bundle that removes the Kinect and lowers the price greatly. Finally after months of the not-so-die-hard Xbox fans complaining about having to purchase the Kinect in their Xbox One bundle, it is being removed. That's right. Starting June 9th there will be an Xbox One bundle that doesn't have the Kinect packaged in which will bring the overall price down to match that of the launch day PS4. That would be $399 plus tax here in the states. Of course the option to purchase a Kinect to "upgrade" to the "best experience ever" will still be an option just no longer required. Read More...

Dying Light has been pushed back a few months now to better improve core aspects of the game. I could have sworn that Dying Light looked to be nearing the end of its development road. Even back when I first saw the demo at E3 last year the game seriously looked like it could have made an October 2013 release date if Techland and Warner Bros. truly pushed. Driveclub has been pushed back once again but now there is a solid date of October 7th. Yes, that means that Driveclub won't be coming to the PS4 here in early 2014 as stated before. Apparently the game just will not be ready until about the first anniversary of the next gen console's launch. Now the date is October 7th if you sit through and watch the gorgeous trailer that was released showing the new date in all of its kind of glory. Good news for all of you race fans or those who want to see how pretty a racing game can be on next gen. A new game trailer for Mad Max has been released showing off the amazing vehicle of the game; the Magnum Opus. One could have had a baby in the time it has been since we last got a video look at Mad Max from Avalanche Studios and Warner Bros. That isn't too much of an exaggeration either. In fact it had been so long that recently I began to question if Mad Max was still being worked on or if it had been canned quietly so as not to have everyone asking 'Why?'. A new trailer/gameplay video for Evolve has been released and it lets you choose the character you watch in the match. That latest trailer for Evolve is completely the way that multiplayer titles should do it. As you have most likely not jumped to the following trailer yet, let me explain. Turtle Rock and 2K have put together a nice nine minute game session for Evolve showing off some of the game's mechanics as well as abilities employed by each of the five different playable characters. The best part is you can hop between each of them to see what they see while running around trying to kill the Goliath or trying to survive and kill the players. As of writing this I have yet to see the match through each character's eyes but I have watched the commentated version of the Evolve match and I can be colored impressed for this multiplayer titles. DrinkBox Studios has announced there next title, Severed, and we have a trailer. When I hear the name Severed for a game title I automatically think survival horror or something alike. DrinkBox Studios apparently has a different idea with a FPS gesture based fantasy game. Quite a different stretch given the title but I was a huge fan of Guacamelee! that I will be willing to give it chance given my odd expectations. Amazon Game Studios has put out a trailer showcasing some of the upcoming titles for the Kindle Fire and Fire TV. Here's a sneak peek. Amazon has revealed their new Fire TV today and with that Amazon Game Studios has put out a 'sneak peek' at the games that we will soon be able to play on those Kindle Fires and Fire TVs. These of course are in addition to the Sev Zero and Sev Zero: Air Support that are already part of the new set-top library. Daylight for Zombie Studios finally has a solid release date and a new trailer. Also some discounts to make up for the wait. It's been a bit since we heard anything for Daylight and boy do we have some fun and good news. Like for instance that it is now slated to release on the PS4 and Steam on April 29th now. Goat Simulator from Coffee Stain Studios is set to launch on April 1st. Here's the launch trailer. Sometimes when I think I have gamers figured out something like Goat Simulator comes along and makes me question everyone's priorities in the world. I heard about this game back during its early inception and could have sworn it was just some joke being played by someone modding another game. Then the trailers began hitting the internet and everyone and their sister's uncle's cousin's former roommate was talking about it. New details and screen shots for Batman: Arkham Knight. Also details on Arkham Knight, the new character for the Batman universe. If you are like me then when you heard about Batman: Arkham Knight you thought that it was just a fun little subtitle for the game. Up until now it was easy to just make that logic leap given all of the other subtitles for the Rocksteady franchise. I think that is why it was a bit shocking and surprising to find out that the Arkham Knight mentioned is a completely new "villain" for the Batman universe.
