Hear How Batman: Arkham Knight Will Drive More Fear With Scarecrow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for Batman: Arkham Knight has been released to show off a few of the voice actors that will be bringing the characters to life in the game It is no big shocker that some of our favorite voices will be gracing Batman: Arkham Knight. Rocksteady has created a franchise with some great new interpretations of the characters so it would make sense that they stay the same across the board or at least have stellar voice actors to help bring them to life. A task that so far has been heard pretty well in the Batman: Arkham Knight videos and trailers. Just to emphasize it more though we have another great behind the scenes video showing off how the voice actors truly are bringing those characters to life again on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. More Gameplay For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt To Shake Sticks At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the PS4 has been shown off as well as a look at more of the combat in the game There would be no doubt, if there was, that we are getting close to the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED is flooding us with more and more of the gameplay and creature looks than we can shake sticks at. Odd phrase I know but go with it. None the less we have the first bit of PS4 gameplay to look at now and it still feels like we have seen so very little of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt so far. Read More...

The Monsters Of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Are More Than Creature Spawns
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new video for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released showing off the design and AI of the monsters we will be hunting in the game If you had no idea that there were monsters in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt then why are you even reading this? Monster hunting is what it is almost all about here. There couldn't be more monster hunting if the game was called Monster Hunter. It is not though but there are still loads and loads of monsters and creatures for us to enjoy hunting in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and now we are getting a good long look at how CD Projekt RED has designed them all to make us feel like true monster hunters just as the main character in the game is. Isn't that so very nice of them? Read More...

Jason Is Out Of The Lake & Into Mortal Kombat X Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We have been given our first look at Jason in Mortal Kombat X's first DLC pack out tomorrow, or next week depending on your purchase The first major character DLC for Mortal Kombat X is on the verge of launch and now we have a great look at Jason Voorhees getting into the mix of the game. Yes this is the slasher from the Friday The 13th franchise for those who may have been under a rock for the last 30+ years and have no clue who that is. At least in this version we will see NetherRealm's take on the horror icon for Mortal Kombat X. Hopefully he is as brutal as he has been over the decades but I guess the hope is no more as we have that look at him I guess… Of course with a new character for Mortal Kombat X has been a new Kombat Kast to help cover the character and show off all of his variations. Here's Why Batman: Arkham Knight's Season Pass Is So Expensive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Some details about the season pass for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released by Warner Bros. and Rocksteady to better explain the price Last week Rocksteady and Warner Bros. caught a bit of flack over the cost of the recently announced Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass. This would be the $40 add on pack that even I gave them quite a bit of guff over as that is close to the cost of another game just for six month's worth of DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight. Well it looks like the developer and publisher wanted to quell all of our concerns and outrage and give us just a taste of what is to come for the Season Pass that is the most expensive that I can note to date. That is at least covering most titles on PC, Xbox One and PS4 that I cared to take the time to look into. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 09:03 PM ]
During the Microsoft Build Developer Conference Square Enix showed of their Witch Chapter 0 to show the power of DirectX 12 There is no doubt that Square Enix has always been on the leading side of computer graphics and rendering in the gaming world but with their most recent tech demo Witch Chapter 0 [cry] they were able to show off where we can expect to see our next games to go from them. During the Microsoft Build Developer Conference this week showed off said tech demo to show how DirectX 12 can be used to do some truly amazing things visually. In the case of their Witch Chapter 0 [cry] demo it showed how we could get some of the best real-time CG rendering that has been able to pull off a damn impressive CG version of someone crying. Night Terrors Could Become Your Reality… In Your Own Home
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new Augmented Reality Game, Night Terrors, is trying to raise funds to try and bring real but fake terror into our homes Earlier this week we had the devastation that Silent Hills was canceled so let's get back on a horror highlight with Night Terrors. This would be an augmented reality game that is looking to hit the levels of terror that the prior title mentioned was claiming as well. The big kicker here is that Night Terrors won't be using virtual world interactions to bring the terror. Instead it is slated to get you up and moving about your own home where the ghosts and demons are actually lurking. Read More...

Overkill's The Walking Dead To Be Published On Consoles By 505 Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
It looks like 505 Games will be bringing Overkill's The Walking Dead to the PS4 and Xbox One when it launches in 2016 Not the biggest or most shocking news here but it looks like Overkill's The Walking Dead will be coming to consoles through 505 Games. They will be known for working together in the past for the Pay Day titles as well as the critically acclaimed, on this site, Naughty Bear. This of course all makes perfect sense given the fact that Overkill's The Walking Dead will be another Pay Day-like title and the two have worked well to bring those titles already so it was most likely the safe bet that this was going to happen sooner or later. Now they have a lot of time to run some amazing ad campaigns like they did for Naughty Bear. Read More...

Batman: Arkham Knight's Season Pass To Bring More Villains
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of April 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A season pass for Batman: Arkham Knight DLC has been announced and details talk about bringing more super-villains into the game over time Hot off the announcement of the Dual Play feature in Batman: Arkham Knight comes an announcement for a DLC season pass for the game. Not too big of a surprise for Warner Bros. and Rocksteady to include this into the mix of Arkham Knight additions as DLC seems to keep the money flowing after the main title is released. Weirdly though, this season pass structure sound like it defines out that there will be a six month period of DLC coming to the game on a regular basis. Read More...

Not only the gameplay trailer but also a release window for the game on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That time frame being "holiday 2015" to have a huge shocker here. As if we haven't been able to pretty much figure that out yet given the little we have seen already for Just Cause 3 up to now and how little Avalanche Studios has given us in terms of general game information. Can Your PC Run Batman: Arkham Knight?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of April 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
The PC specs for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released so you can get your rig ready to play the game at launch As of today we are only two months out from Batman: Arkham Knight hitting our homes. That date being June 23rd. Those who will be diving into Rocksteady's final chapter of the Arkham on the PS4 or Xbox One know how great the game is going to look. As for those PC gamers out there you may not be sure how Batman: Arkham Knight may look and run given how the hardware varies between person to person. That has always been one of the issues I find with PC gaming but luckily you can prep for the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC by looking at the specifications that are recommended to run the game and get the best quality. The Alan Wake 2 Game That May Never Be…Sadly
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay demo for Alan Wake 2 has made its way online to show us the Alan Wake 2 game we may never get It always sucks when a game like Alan Wake 2 will never see the light of day. Pun intended. What sucks more is when you get to see what the game could have been via gameplay demo and proof of concept work. That is what we have here to spread the hurt from Remedy moving on to do Quantum Break over Alan Wake 2 for their next huge title. The prior looks amazing and don't get me wrong, I still want it, but after seeing what the team was doing for Alan Wake 2 it is quite upsetting that we may have to be left waiting for a long time to see anything you are about to see hit our Xbox One or Xbox 360.
