Rise of the Argonauts So I swear I heard about this over a year ago. I could be wrong. Or I could be right. In either instance, this game looks like it could be epic. Pun intended as always. This game is suppose to be a pretty close telling of the Greek Legends of yore, with a little new world twist to get a broader audience than freaks like me who are all about the Greek stories. The First Shot of the Drum Kit that will be used in GH 4 So Activision did what I knew they would. Try to copy it's best competitor to try and cash in on a market that they didn't get in on from the start. Yes, the pic above is of a new drum kit to be used in Guitar Hero 4. If you didn't hear already, the next Guitar Hero will have vocals and drums added into the mix. And this is the pick of the drum kit that will most likely be used in the game. 180-degree field of vision for gaming

The jDome Website is home to this project that creates a monitor view with an immersive 180-degree field of vision for gaming, using a pretty simple patented approach that only costs a couple of hundred dollars to construct. There's a video with the inventor showing off a prototype of the project on Gizomdo, where they comment on it's potential to induce headaches. The inventor is looking to generate a community around this project to help take it to the point where it can be put into production. Read More...

Bo Jackson Not Included In New Tecmo Bowl Game

While we knew when Tecmo decided to announce Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff for the DS, they couldn't use the NFL license for teams and players thanks to EA holding the exclusive rights. But when fans petitioned for everyone's either favorite or most despised player in Tecmo Bowl history, Bo Jackson, Tecmo came out stating he will not appear in the game, nor any retired players for that matter. Anyone who played Tecmo Super Bowl knows that Bo Jackson became the game's standout icon as he was virtually unstoppable, and everyone remembers the fights over who would play as (Does best Chris Berman Interpretation) DA RAIDAHZ!! A-KON 19 to break World Record...

Well as many of us know, I'm a regular at the Dallas based anime convention A-kon. A-Kon, for those of you who don't know, is also the lonest running Anime Convention in America. It's one of the largest too. Recently the people over at A-KON anounced incredible news. A-kon is going to attempt to break The Guinness Book record for most 'Most Video Game Costumes in One Place'. Now as a regular at A-kon I can assure you that we've broken that record yearly. Last year A-KON saw an estimated of 10,000 plus ppl nerding it up at the Adams Mark hotel in Dallas. Read More...
