Get Ready For Our DOOM At E3 With A Nice Little Tease
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for DOOM has been released to tease a world gameplay reveal at Bethesda's E3 event in June We've all been waiting patiently for something more on the upcoming DOOM title from id Software and Bethesda. Very patiently given that there were pre-order bonuses that gave us access to the DOOM beta when it goes live. We have yet to see a thing for the game but at least we all were sure it was still on its way. Today though it looks like the wait…now has a defined end date at Bethesda's E3 event when we should be seeing DOOM in action most likely on the PC version but possibly on the PS4 or Xbox One version. Looks Like Some Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition Footage Leaked
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Two very short clips of what is thought to be Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition have cropped up online and point to an Xbox One release for the titles The rumor of a Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition coming to the Xbox One anytime soon may have just received a huge update and confirmation. If things are to be believed it looks like a new bit of gameplay has found its way onto an Xbox video recording service that points to the remastered version of the franchise. Of course the original footage has been removed from the site but the internet is a wonderful thing and nothing stays hidden for long. That being said, we have that lost Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition footage just a bit lower down just for you. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Ubisoft has now officially announced Assassin's Creed Syndicate, a new title that take place in Victorian age London There have been a whole lot of leaks and hints before now but it is not official, this year's Assassin's Creed title is called Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Looks like most of us were not that too far off from what Ubisoft was working on since the last letdowns for the franchise. Thankfully though, and according to the tease before the world premiere of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Ubisoft has taken all of the past criticism for the Unity and Rogue to try and make this next title the best in the franchise to date. There words not mine of course. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Time for more witting, or not-so-witting, banter to wrap up another week of news for video games here. We had a cancellation, a delay, and more sad news in general but at least we were able to see Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight received a bit more. Not only that but we have more rumors showing us that Watch Dogs 2 could be along the way here soon and then we had a look at a great looking horror title in Night Terrors. Most would say that is a big old game of "nope" but I say bring it on. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 09:03 PM ]
During the Microsoft Build Developer Conference Square Enix showed of their Witch Chapter 0 to show the power of DirectX 12 There is no doubt that Square Enix has always been on the leading side of computer graphics and rendering in the gaming world but with their most recent tech demo Witch Chapter 0 [cry] they were able to show off where we can expect to see our next games to go from them. During the Microsoft Build Developer Conference this week showed off said tech demo to show how DirectX 12 can be used to do some truly amazing things visually. In the case of their Witch Chapter 0 [cry] demo it showed how we could get some of the best real-time CG rendering that has been able to pull off a damn impressive CG version of someone crying. The Last Of Us: Left Behind Is Going Standalone
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The Last Of Us: Left Behind is coming to the PS3 and PS4 as standalone DLC for the core game of The Last Of Us in May So this seems like a little weird bit of news but The Last Of Us: Left Behind DLC will be coming to the PS3 and PS4 as a standalone experience on May 12th. This would be that DLC for The Last Of Us that gave us all a little insight into the background of Ellie and her friend Riley. This would be the bit of story that is only alluded to in the core game as to how we all found out that Ellie is immune to whatever fungus is floating around in the world. Now everyone will be able to experience it without having to have The Last Of Us or The Last Of Us Remastered. Read More...

Watch Dogs 2 May Already Be In The Works
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
If rumors are correct we may be seeing Watch Dogs 2 from Ubisoft sooner than we all expected The head line really says it all here as it looks like Watch Dogs 2 may be in development already. At least that is all based on an updated LinkedIn account from one of the Senior Gameplay Programmers over at Ubisoft. It has since been removed from the account but Watch Dogs 2 was listed as a project under that said individual has/is working on with the developer/publisher. You know, because this is just as big of news as Ubisoft just straight out and telling us all that Watch Dogs 2 is in the works given the success of the first game. Read More...

Overkill's The Walking Dead To Be Published On Consoles By 505 Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
It looks like 505 Games will be bringing Overkill's The Walking Dead to the PS4 and Xbox One when it launches in 2016 Not the biggest or most shocking news here but it looks like Overkill's The Walking Dead will be coming to consoles through 505 Games. They will be known for working together in the past for the Pay Day titles as well as the critically acclaimed, on this site, Naughty Bear. This of course all makes perfect sense given the fact that Overkill's The Walking Dead will be another Pay Day-like title and the two have worked well to bring those titles already so it was most likely the safe bet that this was going to happen sooner or later. Now they have a lot of time to run some amazing ad campaigns like they did for Naughty Bear. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/20/15 — 4/24/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of April 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week down and another week closer to having all of those video games that we keep talking about here. Or the DLC of said video games. You get the deal here. We had yet another productive week in video games and all of the news and updates we could have wanted. Granted we have the big Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 reveal coming over the weekend even though all of the 'leaks' and teases may have spoiled a bit of it all. We can ignore all of that and look towards Mad Max and whatever Marvel and Telltale have chambered for us in 2017. Read More...

We Have A Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Release Date & Beta 'Leak'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Images from a GameStop promotional poster for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 may be giving us the release date and beta for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions Looks like the cat is out of the bag a little early as the release date for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 may have been leaked out via some GameStop promotional materials. Not only a release date but Beta access for those who pre-order the game on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Of course all of this has yet to be confirmed by Activision or Treyarch so this could be some extremely placed ruse to make people believe Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be launching on November 6th this year. Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Teaser May Be Showing A Bit Of Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new teaser trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III has been released and it looks like it may be setting the story's tone and theme We still have a bit to wait for the official gameplay reveal for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III but that doesn't mean that Activision isn't going to tease us with a bit as we lead up to it. That is just what we were given today with the latest teaser trailer titled "Ember" although the name may not make any sense outside of a few huge conspiracies for it all. We all love conspiracies don't we and that is really what Call Of Duty: Black Ops III should all be about when we dig in. Read More...

The Alan Wake 2 Game That May Never Be…Sadly
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay demo for Alan Wake 2 has made its way online to show us the Alan Wake 2 game we may never get It always sucks when a game like Alan Wake 2 will never see the light of day. Pun intended. What sucks more is when you get to see what the game could have been via gameplay demo and proof of concept work. That is what we have here to spread the hurt from Remedy moving on to do Quantum Break over Alan Wake 2 for their next huge title. The prior looks amazing and don't get me wrong, I still want it, but after seeing what the team was doing for Alan Wake 2 it is quite upsetting that we may have to be left waiting for a long time to see anything you are about to see hit our Xbox One or Xbox 360. All the goodies to make 343 Industries game that much easier to play and beat. We wouldn't want anyone to have absolutely no advantages in Halo 5: Guardians now would we? Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Now this has been a great week for video games now hasn't it?
