Bethesda Is Hosting Their Own E3 Conference
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Bethesda announced today that they will be holding their own press conference at E3 2015 but with no details about what will be shown It looks like Bethesda wants in on all of the E3 fun of hosting their own press conference as the publisher just announced on their blog that they would be doing just that. No longer will they be held to just a booth and a kick-ass off site party/get-together at E3. They will be taking a stage and showing off what they have in the works for the coming years and most likely announcing a few things we all may have been wanting for a while. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of February 2015 - 08:01 PM ]
We have a new look at all of the options we are going to have when it comes to our characters in Bloodborne…and a bunch of new gameplay If you are looking to have your own special snowflake when it comes to Bloodborne it looks like you are going to be in luck. From Software has added in a whole mess of options into the game to customize your character however you want and they were so nice to give an exclusive look of all of that. At least an exclusive look for all of that to IGN so they could take us all through a quick minute version of all of the option Bloodborne will have to make you all nice and special. Hopefully so you don't look like any other character when you finally log in with you PS4 and play the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Hatred is now available for pre-order as well as has some new gameplay for you all to hate on again Hate it or not, Hatred is getting released as an AO title for PC and there seems to be no stopping it. I see this as a good thing but the whole "Hatred debate" bullshit has been done to death and I wish the main character could show up and perform a finishing move on it. We all hopefully get it by now. Games want Hatred to be made. Read More...

The First Episodes Of Powers Is Coming To PSN In March
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
The release date for the first three episodes of Powers, the first original live-action series for PSN, have been announced Powers was announced a back in June of last year at E3. Then we received a tease for it during the New York Comic Con. It was supposed to launch sometime during the Holidays of 2014 but as of the PlayStation Experience where Powers was a relative no show, pun intended, the PSN Live Action show had not been shown yet. In fact, it wasn't until I logged into PlayStation Plus later in that month to see that the release date for the show had been altered to sometime in 2015. Well now we know when that date is in 2015 so we wait no longer. Read More...

Looks Like There Is Less Hatred For Hatred Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Ultra-violent game Hatred has been Greenlit on Steam despite the outcry and disgust from the gaming community For a game like Hatred that has been getting a lot of hatred, pardon the puns this time, it seems odd that if all of it was true then the game would not have been approved by Steam's Greenlight project. Yes, Hatred has reached the appropriate level of positive votes and it is now greenlit to be on Steam once Destructive Creations actually finishes building the game. It looks like all of that "negative" press the game was getting finally made this title get the steam roller momentum, pun not intended, so we will be seeing Hatred on our PCs via Steam in 2015. Brawl Has An Update From Bloober Team…With Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of December 2014 - 08:05 PM ]
Brawl, the re-built Basement Crawl, has an updated trailer for us to show how the developer has improved the PS4 title outside of changing the name Remember Basement Crawl from earlier this year? The creepy take on Bomberman… No? Well that makes sense as it was a title so poorly built that the developer Bloober Team asked everyone not to review it until the issues were fixed. Then the game was scrapped and re-branded as Brawl. Sounds more or less like they just shortened the title to combine the original title just as this version of the game contains the same core gameplay of Basement Crawl. Read More...

Everyone Is Flip-Flopping Over Hatred Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
It appears that everyone is now singing different tunes for Hatred as it is now back on Steam Greenlight If reports are true it looks like Hatred is now back up on Steam Greenlight thanks to Gabe Newell… Or publicity stunt… Or shady practices by Destructive Creations… Or Korean hackers… Or hopefully you get the picture by now. None of that of course changes the fact that you can again vote for Hatred to be published on Steam now or try and crush the hopes of at least 27,000 hopeful gamers out there. You'll only need to muster another 23,000 negative votes to succeed there though. Read More...

Steam Has Hatred For The Game Hatred…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Hatred was up on Steam's Greenlight for a few hours before being removed and declared not to be published by Valve So this was going to originally be about Hatred being up on Steam Greenlight but as I began to wrap the final keystrokes it would seem that the game has been pulled down. Yes, Hatred was up for community vote on Steam's service to be published but, like I said, it was only there for a few hours before it was taken down for the voting and an official statement was released from Valve on the whole situation. I'll let you read all of that before I get into my own thoughts on what is going on with this "offensive" PC shooter game that Destructive Creations have been working on. Here's exactly what Valve had to say about Hatred and why it was taken down from Greenlight. Read More...

PlayStation Experience Hands On — Bloodborne
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
While At The PlayStation Experience I Was Able To See Bloodborne In A More Intimate Setting Than Just A Trailer. I Gave The Game A Go Via Two Different Hunters To Make Sure I Didn't Miss Anything… Up until the PlayStation Experience my time with Bloodborne has been only in the way of trailers or watching one of the developers try to show off the game. If you've been following my drivel since Bloodborne was announced then you will know that I have been nothing but unenthused about the game. That is why I decided to give it the old college try and see if this PS4 exclusive was going to be able to capture my love with actual hands on. Read More...

Time For Gamers To Join A Real Blood Sport
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A new organization, Blood Sport, is looking to raise the stakes in gaming as well as help people in the interim Before you continue reading about Blood Sport here note that I am not talking about any upcoming Van Damme film or one prior. I'm talking about a new gaming event that some crazy Canadians are trying to get funded via Kickstarter. That is at least if Kickstarter reactivates the campaign on the site as it was shut down with currently no reasons given. That isn't what I want to bring to you here though. Read More...

Bloodborne Has Been Delayed To March
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Sony PlayStation has announced that Bloodborne has been delayed back to March of 2015 If you were looking forward to playing Bloodborne on February 6th then it is time for you to get let down. It looks like the game has now been delayed in making its PS4 debut until March 24th of 2015. Just under two month extra that you will have to wait, that's all. Could be a lot worse like six months or a year so you might want to calm down on the canceling of the pre-orders and all. The news about Bloodborne's delay comes from the PlayStation Blog where no real reason why has been given as to the delay. Read More...

Blizzard Just Announced Their First New IP In A While: Overwatch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Fresh out of Blizzcon 2014 Blizzard has announced Overwatch their first fully new IP in 17 years It has been about 17 years since Blizzard has moved away from any title that wasn't Diablo, Warcraft, or StarCraft based so it was quite a shock to here that they are working on a new title named Overwatch. This is a team based, first person shooter which is another interesting deviation for the company but not one that isn't going to be welcomed with open arms. I'm not even a huge Blizzard fan who spends all of my time and money on their games and I'll admit what we've seen so far for Overwatch has piqued my interest and garnered my watchful eye. Let Your Hatred Fly With…Well…Hatred
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new game called Hatred has been announced for PC from Destructive Creations where you are the villain Nothing gets a game recognition like a good old fashion controversy and Hatred is doing just that right now. If you haven't heard of Hatred yet don't feel like you are out of the times here as the game was just announced from Destructive Creations as their first major project. Also don't worry if you haven't heard of the team before as they are a new developer out of Poland who look to be fairly recently joined together just to bring us Hatred. So what is all the 'controversy' that Hatred is bringing? Read More...
