Friday The 13th: The Game Is Going Retro With New & Free Updates
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th: The Game It looks like Friday The 13th: The Game is getting some new updates here with new clothes and a retro skin from the Friday The 13th game from the '80s If you jumped in on the Friday The 13th: The Game bandwagon from the start, you may be one of those out there who were being plagued too much by server issues and glitches in the game to find the enjoyment. You may also have been one of those gamers out there who happened to understand the growing pains that Illfonic and Gun Media were going through and gave them some leeway with it all and just enjoyed what you had so far. That seemed to be the split that happened for Friday The 13th that I saw online after it launched and spanned from not only the PC version but also the Xbox One and PS4 versions. Read More...

E3 2017 Impressions — Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu While at E3 I was able to see Call Of Cthulhu in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Call Of Cthulhu. There was a small list of titles at E3 that I desperately wanted to go hands on with at E3 and Call Of Cthulhu was one of those titles. I was so ever hopefully that Cyanide Studios would have had a nice little slice of the game out there to be played on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but sadly it was not. That is not to say that Focus Home Interactive didn't put together a nice booth and experience for Call Of Cthulhu though and that in turn led to a lot of new information and details for the gameplay and scope of the game to finally get out there. I wish I could show you more gameplay than what we had for the public out at E3, but for now here's what we have for it all as well as more on the ins and outs of the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with one of the busiest weeks in video games we usually have for the year. E3 has come and gone and there was so much to take in from the event as well as outside of it all. The press conferences had a lot to show us but that was only a fraction of the video games that were out there and we have many more to cover for you. Sure we had a chance to talk about Days Gone, Far Cry 5, and many more. Read More...

E3 2017 Impressions — Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man While at E3 I was able to see Spider-Man in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Spider-Man. This was one of the bigger titles that had everyone on the E3 showfloor clamouring for more and that is about what we had for Spider-Man out here this year. It of course all kicked off with the new gameplay trailer for the game that Insomniac Games put together for the big PlayStation showcase, but then was followed up with another showing on the show floor in one of the PS4 showrooms. It wasn't any different part of Spider-Man, but it was a live demo of the same portion of the game where a few different things were shown off and explained a bit more than in the trailer we all have most likely seen a few times over already. Just like the Days Gone demo, I've added in the original gameplay trailer for Spider-Man that was shown and then will dive into the differences that were shown and explained behind the closed doors of the showroom. This Week In Video Games 6/5/17 — 6/9/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with one of the last weeks of video games before everything explodes with E3 here. I figured this would be one of the slower weeks as all of the good news and updates would be held until next week, and for the most part I was right. We did get the release date for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and a look at Injustice 2's Red Hood before he launches next week. Not to mention we wrapped up another of The Walking Dead's video games here in terms of reviews. Read More...

Submit To Your Destiny & Story Of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new story trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has released and shows just what the new ring in Shadow Of War can and will do For a game that needed to be delayed until October 10th, there sure is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to go around here and I have a feeling there will be a lot more given its presence at E3 this year. If I had to guess it was less with Monolith Productions needing more time to polish or whatever and more to get the buzz going and the marketing campaigns to a high. Either way, there is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War out there to take in with more on the way and here we go today with more on the story with an official story trailer for the game. Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — From The Gallows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — From The Gallows. This is the final episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It may have had a slow start to get going, but here we go with the end of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season here. Technically this would be the end of the third season of the franchise from Telltale Games but given the new title it can be seen as its own thing in a shared universe. No matter which way you want to take it, here we are at the end of this season of The Walking Dead and in turn the conclusion of this story and hopefully closure on all of the other events and choices in the game so far. Minecraft: Story Mode Is Getting A 2nd Season To Build Off Part Of The 1st
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Minecraft It is official that Minecraft: Story Mode is getting a seond season and it will be bringing back a few of the Minecraft community members with it It seemed like it was "iffy" to me that Minecraft: Story Mode was going to be getting a full second season for fans to enjoy, all based on the eight episode season the first had, but as it looks there will be a season two. Today Telltale Games has announced that it is teaming up with Mojang again and bringing the episodic adventure back to carry on the adventures of Jesse in their own crafted world. Not only did they announce it, but Minecraft: Story Mode second season will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices on July 11th with the first episode. Read More...

Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Thicker Than Water
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Thicker Than Water. This is the fourth episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did We've made it almost to the end of the story of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and things are starting to boil up and over for the group here. Just about right for the fourth episode of any of Telltale Games' titles out there and here we are with it. If I had to guess I'd say that this is about when the real twist that The Walking Dead is known to throw out there, or the gut punch as it may be, will hit us all. Read More...

The Pressure Is Almost On For Rocket In Guardians Of The Galaxy's Next Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy The official trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy's second episode is here and it looks like one of the Guardians Of The Galaxy will be getting a backstory expanded It was no big secret that the second episode of Guardians Of The Galaxy was coming this week as that was one of the big announcements that Telltale Games laid down for us not too long ago. It's landing on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices on June 6th, tomorrow, and it's been hyped up a bit to get everyone ready to continue on the story that has already begun. Mystical artifact, seems to be able to bring the dead back to life, the Guardians Of The Galaxy have it in their hands, and it looks like we may get to see where Rocket started his whole career from. This Week In Video Games 5/29/17 — 6/2/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was a shorter week here in video games but it still packed a lot of punches indeed. A lot of which was just to build up to E3 in just over a week from now but still we had a bunch of good and bad things happen this week. I know it was a bummer to see that Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War was delayed a few months, as well as Agony. At least the second title there had an amazing reason for the delay. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Has Sadly Been Delayed A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War It looks like Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been delayed a bit as the team aims to make Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War a better title…somehow I hope you weren't still looking for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to launch this August as it has sadly been delayed out from the initial date we were given. It looks like Monolith Productions needs more time to perfect the game and the Nemesis gameplay so now we have to wait. How much longer of a wait? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/22/17 — 5/26/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of May 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week of video games in the bag and it was a huge one that was un expected indeed. I could have sworn it would have been a silent week given the proximity of E3, but it looks like they had to get all of the Far Cry 5 news out there to get us all hyped up for the video games still to come in the next few weeks. That and keep our minds off the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2 a bit and then be excited to see that LawBreakers is heading to the PS4 as well now. Mix in the Xbox Game Pass and other little bits we had and it was a pretty damn solid week for us all. Read More...
