by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War shows off some of the different ways we will be able to interact with the Orcs of Shadow Of War By now you have most likely heard of or experienced the Nemesis System that will be coming back for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. It was one of the main gameplay features in Shadow Of Mordor if you are completely new to the titles that Monolith Productions has brought us over the years. Anyways, if you are still not in the know about how it could play out, there is a new trailer for Shadow Of War to give you a feeling for how it could play out and just what action you can take to create a great ally or a great nemesis. Pretty much any enemy can be affected by you and can drastically alter the way the story and game plays out. Read More...

The Marauders Are Coming For Us In Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War Another tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been shown off and now we have to look out for the Marauders in Shadow Of War among others The next tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is up and ready for us to check out. It looks like we may be getting a new one each week leading up to October 10th when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC at this rate. That is of course if Monolith Productions has crafted that many different factions of Orcs to thwart our progress in the game. That would put us at a total of eight different tribes in Shadow Of War when all is said and done and that does not seem like too tall of an order. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/21/17 — 8/25/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another fine week of video games in the bag and there was still so much that we did not get a chance to cover this week. I guess that is what having another huge gaming event like Gamescom will do to us all when we are just trying to share it all. I mean, we had a lot of updates and news for Shadow Of War this week and a continued update for South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Not to mention some other great video games getting the announcement like Biomutant and Jurassic World Evolution. Read More...

You Are Grease For The Machine In Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here to grind us up and use our blood to grease their machines in Shadow Of War We have seen one of the new Orc factions for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War already, so here we go with yet another. These are new here for the game and really just seem to make sure that there is more going on with each of these potential allies and enemies in the game world, and here we are with the second one that Monolith Productions has for us. This is the Machine Tribe and as you most likely have guessed, they are all about the war machines and devices in Shadow Of War. Well, at least as much as they can get away with given the technology of the setting and such. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Giant Consequences. This is the second episode of Telltale's second take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did The story continues as the second episode of Minecraft: Story Mode new season has released and is out there for those who want to take each with a bit of break in-between and not binge the whole thing. Giving yourself a break between each episode so you can reflect on what just happened seems to be the ongoing M.O. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Will Be Filled With All Kinds Of Monsters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War Another trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and it shows us the other horrors we'll be facing in Shadow Of War besides the Orcs There are so many threats in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War that we will have to deal with and here we go adding even more into the mix of it all. Not the biggest surprise to the game at all, or the IP either, but there will be a plethora of other monsters and creatures out there to hinder our progression and thus level us up just a bit more. While extra monsters in Shadow Of War is nothing too shocking, it was something that Monolith Productions wanted us to see and experience here as we all get ready for October 10th to swing around and give us more of the story and gameplay we've enjoyed for so long. This Week In Video Games 8/14/17 — 8/18/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes yet another week of video games in the bag. I swear that seems like the way we start all of these recaps out there. Nonetheless, we have hit the end of yet another week and it was filled with even more updates and news that could have been expected. There was a lot for Shadow Of War and Assassin’s Creed Origins yet again, and sadly we saw that Crackdown 3 had been delayed yet again until next year. Thankfully though, we have Agents Of Mayhem out there to feel those needs and if you are still on the fence for that title, we just published out review for it so you can get a better idea before purchase. Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Terror Tribe Is Here For Blood & Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The Orcs of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War now have tribes & here is Shadow Of War's Terror Tribe to bring the pain and blades for us As if things weren't already going to be a bit on the crazy side for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Orcs, it looks like we can add in specialized tribes into the mix that will drive their thoughts and actions while we are making new enemies and allies throughout the land. Hopefully allies as the first up we have here is the Terror Tribe that Monolith Productions has for us and then look to be just as chaotic and horrible as the name alludes to. I going to go on a limb that this won't be the absolute worst of them in Shadow Of War, but at least we now know that we are in for some pain when October 10th rolls around. Read More...

Travel Into Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's In-Game Market
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is getting an in-game market that will allow you to quickly upgrade your Shadow Of War characters if you choose It looks like we can add another game in the mix that will be implementing micro-transactions in the way of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Yes, it looks like we are getting them here as we have just been introduced to The Market aspect of the game that will allow us to purchase upgrades, weapons, and other boosts to help us survive the game that Monolith Productions has for us here. Sadly, this is not a huge shocker as many titles are going down this path to continue to generate revenue after a title has been launched. Now we just get to add Shadow Of War to that list of titles when it lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10th here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/7/17 — 8/10/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week has come and gone and we had even more to talk about in the world of video games than was expected. At least expected by me as we are getting close to the next big gaming conventions out there and you'd think that all the studios and publishers would be holding back. Then again, we have some great titles like Assassin’s Creed Origins and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus coming up and we need to talk about those video games for sure. Then mix in some extra coverage on SDCC that we've been working on getting out to you and a few new reviews and I guess I can see how we made it a pretty hectic week again. Read More...

Giant Consequences Are Coming For Minecraft: Story Mode's Next Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Minecraft The trailer for the next episode of Minecraft: Story Mode has been released and it looks to be filled with even more Minecraft references as we enter the arena We have a new trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode next episode to look at and try to figure out what is going on after the events of the last one. It has been an interesting trip for Jesse and crew and they were all left in a very bad place after all was said and done. A traditional cliffhanger that we know from Telltale Games here so not too shocking, but it does look like they are taking us off into whole new worlds and events set forth by The Admin that was shown off in the last episode of Minecraft: Story Mode. Let's Do The Impossible & Kill A God In Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Dishonored The first gameplay trailer for Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider is here and we get to see how we are tackling this new Dishonored standalone DLC During the big E3 event from Bethesda we heard that we were getting Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider to continue on the story as we all wanted. There isn't much more of a wait as we can see it on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC on September 15th but it would be nice to see what Arkane Studios has crafted so far to get us all hyped up for it. Gameplay for an upcoming title, or expansion, or DLC (or whatever this can be considered for the Dishonored universe as it is a standalone thing but not a full game), is always welcome to help us get a feel for it all and that is what we have here today. Friday The 13th: The Game Is Getting A Physical Release Now
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 7th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th It looks like Friday The 13th: The Game will now be getting a physical release after great digital sales and this will all be on the next Friday The 13th If you've been hoping for a physical version of Friday The 13th: The Game to come into your home here soon, then the wait is almost over. It looks like Gun Media and IllFonic are going to be hooking up those fans who held out, somehow, on not getting it digitally back in May and still want to have the gaming experience. At least on the PS4 and Xbox One version here as those are the platforms this new version of Friday The 13th will be coming out on. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/31/17 — 8/4/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag and there was still so much we didn't get to. Even with it only being SDCC and Animazement being the big conventions that just happened there seems to still be a whole lot of new information and updates out there. More so with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Agents Of Mayhem, and Observer all just about to release next week and massive info dumps for all of those video games adding on to all of the other things. There is still much more we have to bring you from the conventions that will pick up next week as long as things don't go completely off the rails out there for it all. Read More...

Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Hero In Residence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Hero In Residence. This is the first episode of Telltale's second take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did It's time to kick off yet another season for Minecraft: Story Mode as the first episode has dropped on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices with it coming soon to the Switch. All of this is something you should have known by now, but none the less Telltale Games is back at it trying to give us a great story set in the universe that Mojang has crafted that only has stories if we so define them. At least that has always been my takeaway for Minecraft before now and enjoy seeing it through the lens of another. Read More...
