by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of August 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Gamedec A new cyberpunk-themed RPG, Gamedec, has been announced with Gamedec aiming to bring isometric gameplay in 2020 Cyberpunk seems to be the new hotness in the video game arena, and now we are back with yet another in the genre with Gamedec. This would be a new title coming out of Anshar Studios on PC via Steam that will take us into a different world where we will need to clean up everything with our detective skills. I think. Review — Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus — Heretek DLC
by Chris Avila [ Friday, 9th of August 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Mechanicus We sit down and review Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus — Heretek DLC. The latest Expansion for Mechanicus. Here is our review of the Heretek DLC Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus was published back in November and was quite enjoyable. Back when I was reviewing the original game, I felt there was a real mismatch between the two main factions, the Mechanicus and the Necrons. It seemed like a weird pairing but they seemed to make it work and really managed to weave an enjoyable story. The Heretek DLC has patched some of the holes for me in that story. Read More...

Nightwolf Is Soon Entering The Ring Of Mortal Kombat 11
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of August 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat The first gameplay for Mortal Kombat 11's version of Nightwolf is here as we wait just another week for the character to come back to Mortal Kombat 11 We now have our first look at Nightwolf for Mortal Kombat 11 just before he drops on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. He is the next big character coming to the game on August 13th for those who already own the Kombat Pack. NetherRealm Studios is giving us all the early access for the character just a week before the rest of the players out there. I am hard-pressed to know someone who has Mortal Kombat 11 without having the pack as of yet, but it is something to note if you start seeing Nightwolf popping up before you have a chance to play. E3 2019 Impressions — Psychonauts 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Psychonauts While at E3, I was able to see Psychonauts 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Psychonauts 2. Another game out at E3 that has had an interesting journey has to have been Psychonauts 2. Originally going for crowdfunding, then funded by another source, and now Double Fine has been brought into the Microsoft Studios family. None of which is all that important as there was little worry this game was going to be made after the initial funding goal was reached. Why we are here, though, is that the hard marketing push is out there and Psychonauts 2 was out at E3 this year to give us all a better look at just what we can expect and how the game may have changed from what we knew before. Mortal Kombat The first few fighters of Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack have been announced with more classic Mortal Kombat fighters showing back up Before Mortal Kombat 11 launched we knew we were going to be seeing Shang Tsung back in action and using the likeness and voice of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa from the film. Lovecraft Meets Cyberpunk With The Tease Of Transient
by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 31st of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Transient A new thriller title, Transient, is teased out there where Transient will mix together themes from the Cyberpunk and Lovecraft genres Add one more tease for us all as Transient is the latest game to do just that with very little to work with. Given that Iceberg Interactive has placed it out there and will be launching in 2020 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, I guess it makes some kind of sense to just tease us. Although, when you drop things like Transient will be a mixture of the Cyberpunk and Lovecraft genres from Stormling Studios, it feels like we deserve more for it all. That could just be me and wanting more than the short little video we have announcing all of this. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Just Cause The next DLC for Just Cause 4 is coming this July and will have a whole swarm of enemies for the Just Cause crew to take on It looks like things are getting even stranger in the world of Just Cause 4 as we have a new look at the next upcoming DLC for the game and it looks like the world is truly going to Hell. That is, in the story, the Black Hand have released ancient demonic forces into the world and it will be up to Rico and crew to fix it all. Even if it seems like it will be all located on the island in the game, not something that will truly destroy the world. Read More...
