God Of War A new look at the God Of War demo out of E3 has been release where a few of the God Of War developers explain more on the game than we saw live Last week the world was given a great surprise in terms of the new God Of War being shown off at E3. A lot of questions obviously popped up due to all of this but Santa Monica Studios was very tight lipped about every aspect of the game that we couldn't physically see in the demo. Believe me I tried and the closest little extra I got for God Of War was the fact that they are not ignoring anything from his past but are doing a solid continuation. Spider-Man During E3 it was revealed that Spider-Man was getting yet another title in the mix but this won't be a Spider-Man game tied into anything but the general lore Another one of the huge surprises out of E3 was the announcement of a new Spider-Man game coming into the mix. Maybe not a huge surprise given the agreement between Sony and Marvel for the IP but the bigger one would be that Insomniac Games is doing the building and that it will not be linked into the new film at all. In fact, this Spider-Man title will be a completely standalone title and unsurprisingly available for the PS4 sometime in the future. How long into the future is of course a good question as this is still a working title for the game but it would make sense to use the synergy of the new film; so maybe July of 2017… Of course as this is just an announcement and a tease for the new Spider-Man title, information for the game is still sparse. Skylanders While at E3 I was able to see Skylanders Imaginators in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Skylanders Imaginators Just as with every year since the franchise's start we have Skylanders Imaginators as the new addition to the franchise. We had the announcement that Toys For Bob is working on bringing us something new for the franchise and genre but at E3 Activision had a nice showing of the game from a bit of behind the scenes. We were allowed to see Skylanders Imaginators while out on the floor and also had a nice description of what will be coming to this franchise to make us shell out even more cash for the game and toys. Horizon While at E3 I was able to see Horizon Zero Dawn in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Horizon Zero Dawn. A good portion of what Sony has on the floor here at E3 happens to be just what we saw during the press conference and the same pretty much goes for Horizon Zero Dawn. We have another live demo put on from Guerrilla Games just for us but the only difference is that afterward we we allowed to actually put hands on with the game still waiting to launch on February 28th of 2017 on on the PS4. Of course it wasn’t of any new portion of Horizon Zero Dawn we have yet to see but that doesn’t change the fact that we got to actually play the game. Read More...

God Of War At E3 2016 the new God Of War title was revealed with gameplay and it looks to shake up the God Of War franchise in a good way If you watched last night’s press conference then you should know that God Of War has a new title coming to the franchise and it looks like all of the rumors were true. In this go of it it looks like Santa Monica Studios is taking Kratos into the Norse mythology as the rumors from before had us all thinking. Horizon Zero Dawn The release date for Horizon Zero Dawn has been reset and we also have a new trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn's protagonist Aloy The wait for Horizon Zero Dawn just became a bit longer as it looks like the game has been pushed back to February 28th of 2017. The PS4 title made a huge splash at last year's E3 and it looks like Guerrilla Games is going to do it again to make sure we don't lose faith in the title. We're just going to have to wait longer for Horizon Zero Dawn and that should be fine for all of us. Skylanders Another addition to the franchise is announced with Skylanders Imaginators and it aims to let us craft our own Skylanders just for the new fight It's another new years and it would be complete without an announcement like Skylanders Imaginators as another new title to add into the toys-to-life genre. As if Activision and Toys For Bob haven't raked in enough money on this property so far and had other companies try their hand in the same way. Of course as they usually do, it also looks like Skylanders Imaginators is bringing yet another new feature to the genre in the fact that you get to design your own Skylander to play in the game. Mirror's Edge Catalyst A new Mirror's Edge Catalyst trailer has been released and it gives us all a look at why the runners run in the world of Mirror's Edge Catalyst This seems like a silly thing to only be hearing about for Mirror's Edge Catalyst as we are so close to the launch of the game. June 7th isn't that far off now and we are only now hearing about why they run in DICE's next addition to the franchise. 7 Days To Die The release date for 7 Days To Die on the consoles has been set and we have a new interview with the brains behind 7 Days To Die in general It looks like the release date for 7 Days To Die on the PS4 and Xbox One has been set now and just as The Fun Pimps claimed it is coming at the end of June. In fact it looks like Telltale Publishing is bring the game on over on June 28th now so even more gamers out there can experience the fun. Mirror's Edge Catalyst A new song for Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been released from CHVRCHES that will be featured at Mirror's Edge Catalyst's opening and ending It sounds a bit weird to say that Mirror's Edge Catalyst is going to have a theme song of sorts but that is the easiest way to describe the latest update here for the game. No DICE hasn't crafted some catchy new song like all of those Saturday morning cartoons we loved but instead have reached out to CHVRCHES to craft something for them. And craft something they have as it looks like the song here is slated to be used for the open, ending, and a hidden place in Mirror's Edge Catalyst when it lands on June 7th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Uncharted 4 A major update for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and its multiplayer lists that all DLC for Uncharted 4's multiplayer will be free until the end of the game's cycle More good news just seems to be flowing out for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and this time it is in terms of the multiplayer aspect of the game. Unlike before where we had to drop cold hard cash on DLC packs and modes that Naughty Dog put out there for us it looks like it will all be free of charge in terms of real world currency this go. Uncharted 4 A new trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been released claiming to be the final before Uncharted 4 launches but it has more gameplay Everything on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has wrapped here recently and now we all play the waiting game for it to launch on May 10th. I am sure that there is plenty more in store for us from Naughty Dog in terms of gameplay and multiplayer modes that have yet to be announced but it looks like we are at the place where we have hit the final bit of PR. With that we have what is being stated as the final trailer for Uncharted 4 now and it has to be one of the most explosive and action packed yet to date. Of course this doesn't trump any of the gameplay we have seen before but as this trailer is all gameplay and now pre-rendered bits it does show just how intense some the scene in Uncharted 4 will be. Uncharted 4 It has been revealed that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is getting Plunder Mode back as the PAX demo of Uncharted 4 has revealed to us all If you've played any of the titles before Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End that had a multiplayer mode then you are most likely familiar with Plunder Mode. Well it looks like Naughty Dog is bringing it back and it is on display out at PAX East as you are reading thing.
