Destiny Kicks Off Halloween In The Most Traditional Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Destiny The Halloween festivities have begun in Destiny and here are some of the items and events you can look for in Destiny over the next two weeks With Halloween almost here, for those who celebrate the holiday, it looks like Destiny is getting the jump on all of the festivities before many of the other games out there. As we get closer to the 31st of October I am sure we'll see more but for now it looks like Bungie is out of the gates and offering up all of the same old fun that MMO players should be used to for Halloween. Well outside of the holiday specific emotes for Destiny that you'll be purchasing and making sure that Activision can stay in business for another year. Read More...

Just Cause 3 Is All Explosions…There's Story Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Just Cause 3 A story trailer for Just Cause 3 has been released to show off that Just Cause 3 isn't all explosive gameplay but has a deeper meaning Seems that Just Cause 3 isn't going to be just a huge explosion-fest of gameplay and nothing else as we have an overarching story as to why we are blowing up the island in the game. Of course it would be daft to think that Avalanche Studios wouldn't be giving us a story in Just Cause 3 but if you thought that we would only be setting the world on fire on December 1st for no reason then you can rest assured that Just Cause 3 will have a point to the madness. Video games can't be all about just madness and explosions can they? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders 2 The release trailer for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition has been released and now we can see all those upgraded Darksiders 2 visuals in action Next week is the big week as the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition is going to be released and I couldn't be more excited for this. Up until now we have yet to see any solid gameplay with the updates that Gunfire Games has been able to make to Darksiders 2 so far but now we have a nice long trailer showing off all of those said updates and to get us even more hyped for it to hit the PS4 and Xbox One on October 27th. Such an amazing franchise and I hope the first Darksiders gets the same treatment and we get the ever-sought-after Darksiders 3. Anyways, up until now we have mainly had only screenshots to see for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition so this is a nice little treat here. Read More...

Let's Paint The World Black With Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The launch trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been released and not only does it show more Call Of Duty gameplay but it hits the right levels of hype for the game Not much longer until we are all killing each other, virtually, in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 now. November 6th really creeped up on us and soon the launch will be on us. In fact I thought it a bit weird that Activision and Treyarch released the launch trailer for the game so soon until I looked at the calendar and saw that it was just about Call Of Duty and that it is right about on time for the releasing of a launch trailer. Where did all the time go and how did they crush it so fast to get the game to us? Read More...

Skylanders We Sit Down And Review Skylanders SuperChargers. Does the addition of vehicles drive the franchise forward or just add more toys to the ever-growing shelf? Here's Our Review of Skylanders SuperChargers It's been another year and that means that it is time for more toys-to-life video games with the addition of Skylanders SuperChargers to the ever-growing franchise. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Gets Its Own Free Running Mode
by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 20th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Black Ops 3 A new gameplay mode for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been revealed in the latest livestream and this one adds a full free run mode for all to play in Black Ops 3 As if there wasn't going to be enough to do in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 with the campaign mode and the multiplayer modes, it looks like Treyarch is adding in yet another mode for all of us to enjoy in the way of Free Run mode. If that sounds a little familiar then you might be thinking of the entire Mirror's Edge gameplay or that of Dying Light. The difference here is that it is more of a "multiplayer mode" than anything for Black Ops 3 which adds yet another to the mix when it launches on November 6th for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. In The Void Of Adrift Only You Can Hear The Oxygen Leaving The Lungs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Adrift New gameplay for Adrift has made its way online and it shows off a bit of gameplay and what it feels like in Adrift to run out of oxygen I believe this is the first time we have brought the first-person, interactive fiction game of Adrift up on the site before but that doesn't mean it hasn't been on our radar since it was first announced by Three One Zero. For those who don't know what Adrift is, outside of the genre description before, it is a story game that has us in space experiencing what it may be like for those who want to be up there. It is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with VR support sometime next year thanks to 505 Games for publishing Adrift. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/12/15 — 10/16/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It has been one of "those" weeks in video games hasn't it? I personally blame it all on the releases of the current video games and the news of other major video games like Friday The 13th and Styx that keeps all of the other news as fluff and filler instead of anything solid. I mean we do have Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, Halo 5, and Fallout 4 releasing as well but when we have other great titles out there already why waste the shelf space now for when we can wait until there is nothing else in the limelight? Ah video games… Speaking of all of those video games in the lime light right now, outside of the below list of video games in the news to read through we are still working on a few reviews for titles that have already released or will be releasing in the coming weeks.
