by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Technomancer A new trailer for The Technomancer has been revealed that shows off the various companions you will have in The Technomancer to help you tame the wastes of Mars As it looks, you won't be completely alone when you tackle the world of The Technomancer. We knew there were going to be NPCs and other characters to populate the world that Spiders has crafted for us and even that some would be helpful. Now we get to see just how helpful as we have a trailer for The Technomancer devoted completely to just that; the companions. Not a moment too soon either as the wait until June 28th is almost over. Review — The Magic Circle: Gold Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Magic Circle We sit down and review The Magic Circle: Gold Edition. A game that tries to take us into the world of game design. Here's our review of The Magic Circle: Gold Edition Back in July of 2015 The Magic Circle first popped up on the indie scene for the major PC platforms. Flash-forward almost a year and now it looks like Question has been able to bring the game over to the PS4 so hopefully more gamers can give the game a go. We had a chance to give it a good go now that it has been ported over so without gilding the lily too much here is our review of The Magic Circle: Gold Edition. Their version that I am guessing they originally wanted to come out… Story The world of video game design is a fickle thing. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Styx New screenshots for Styx: Shards Of Darkness have been released and they showcase some of the new dangerous enemies Styx will have to take on or avoid in the game I was pretty sure we were going to have to wait until E3 to get more on Styx: Shards Of Darkness but it looks like we don't have to. Of course that is where the bulk of what Cyanide Studios has to offer us will be shown but at least for now it looks like we are getting a small update. In this case it is a few new screenshots for the game as well as some descriptions of the horrible monsters and enemy factions that Styx will have to kill or avoid along the way to his next big score. Review — Hitman — Sapienza
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman We sit down and review Hitman — Sapienza. This is the second episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. We've had plenty of time to get use to the controls of Hitman and played through multiple times in Paris but now it is time to move right along to Sapienza. That is the new location and bit of story we have here in the second episode as Io Interactive moves to expand on the game. It is also the only other location that we've seen for Hitman out of all of the ones announced. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/9/16 — 5/13/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a slower week in video games but we made it through. Of course I chalk all of this up to it being Friday the 13th week as well as it being filled with a whole lot of game releases. But of course we also did get a lot of Mafia 3 news out there as well as some Hellblade and of course it wouldn't have been a solid week in video games without the Friday The 13: The Game updates. You know it had to have some solid stuff this week and of course it did. I have a feeling that next week may just about the same in the lighter side of news of video games. Read More...

Call Of Cthulhu Takes Us On A Trip To Darkwater Island
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu A few new screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released as well as a great overview of what Call Of Cthulhu's story is going to be all about It looks like some new Call Of Cthulhu tidbits have crawled out of the abyss here and is ready to show us just a bit more on what the game will be all about. Updates have been very sparse since Cyanide Studios took over for the title and it looks like it is going to stay that way for just a bit longer. Unless Focus Home Interactive has some huge plans out there to shock and awe. Read More...

Here's our review on how they've done so far There's been another long break and now we have another new episode for King's Quest. Here's The Other Side Of Homefront: The Revolution's Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Homefront Another trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has been released and this one expands a bit further on Homefront's story but from a different point of view of sorts We are only mere days away from Homefront: The Revolution hitting our PS4, Xbox One, or PC and the hype train is still rolling. With that comes another story trailer that Dambuster Studios has put together for us to show off another side of the conflict. Not in terms of seeing what the "enemies" are thinking and doing, while that would be interesting, but more along the lines of how the "Voice Of Freedom" in Homefront is being perceived. Read More...

Review — The Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Park We sit down and review The Park. This is another narrative driven experience with basis in Funcom's other great IPs. Here's our review of The Park While The Park released last October on the PC it has finally made the jump over the PS4 and Xbox One to make sure everyone could have the narrative experience that they put together. An experience that looks to stem off from some of the amazing darkness that Funcom has already placed in The Secret World. Now that it has hopped over to consoles we had a chance to give The Park a fun play through and see just how intense this horror experience is. Read More...
