Travelling Around In Final Fantasy XV Can Be Fun & Dangerous
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV A few new tidbits of Final Fantasy XV news have popped up just before E3 and they detail out Final Fantasy XV travel systems among other things We are just over a week out from E3 and it looks like there was a bit more on Final Fantasy XV just dropped to lead up to another huge showing of the game. It looks like Square Enix hosted another Active Time Report recently where some questions were asked and left open until E3 but the developer's did hop on a few items to give us a little more just before. Most of which has to deal with how open of a world Final Fantasy XV will be and just how some of the travelling in the game could be more dangerous then free roaming around and fighting monsters. Ibuki Is Back As The Next Street Fighter V DLC Character
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Street Fighter The next DLC character for Street Fighter V has been announced and shown off as Ibuki joins the ranks of Street Fighter V combatants The next character DLC for Street Fighter V is here and it looks like another blast from the past is joining the ranks. It looks like Capcom went back into the old bin of characters from the expanded roster of the third game and is now bringing us Ibuki to yet another title. She was in Street Fighter IV if memory serves but that doesn't matter as this ninja school girl is coming back and getting a bit of an upgrade to all of the old school tricks she had before. Get ready to be trolled here… As was easy to assume, Ibuki will be bringing back the kunais she is known for as well as all of the ninjitsu training she's been working on since Street Fighter III: New Generation. This Week In Video Games 5/23/16 — 5/27/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games in the bag and now we get to move on to the next. This should have been a slower week given the proximity of E3 now but there was plenty rolling out to get us all prepped for the event. We had a few sneak peeks of sorts with Vampyr and Umbrella Corps here as well as the announcement of a new title Absolver to see. Then of course we were able to get the nice big review for Homefront: The Revolution out there for you after waiting for the updates to fix some of the major issues with the game. Read More...

It's Time To Take The Melee Combat Online With Absolver
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Absolver New online combat title, Absolver, has been announced and we have a bit of gameplay for Absolver just before the big E3 reveal It looks like we have the first of two titles that Devolver Digital has for us at E3 as Absolver has just been announced and came with a nice new trailer. This would be the new title being crafted by developers Sloclap and it aims to bring us all into an online combat world where we all want to become the best there is. I say that as it looks like Absolver is all about melee combat and not the traditional shooter combat that all of us are used to when it comes to online combat titles. It's not the first of its kind but it does look to try and perfect the craft in their own way. Read More...

Review — Homefront: The Revolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Homefront We sit down and review Homefront: The Revolution. A reimagining of the franchise to make America great again. Here's our review of Homefront: The Revolution It's been a while coming but Homefront: The Revolution has released and we've been able to dive right into what Dambuster Studios has to offer us. It may not be what was originally in store for us back in the THQ days but since Deep Silver picked up the franchise and put the teams to work to reimagine the game we are in store for another fun ride in a fake historical timeline. It makes sense I swear. Read More...

The Mechanical Apartheid Of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Has Begun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Deus Ex A new live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been released and perfectly shows off how the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution has changed the world August 23rd is still a bit out for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided so it is a bit acceptable that we are not getting loads of gameplay video and/or features revealed to us. I have a feeling that will come at E3 where Square Enix already has plans to show things off. Instead we get things like this live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that aims to show us what the world has become after the events of Eidos-Montreal's previous addition into the franchise. Look Back At The Ten Years Final Fantasy XV Has Been In The Works
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Another Final Fantasy XV developer diary of sorts has popped up and again we are treated to more Final Fantasy XV gameplay and history Here we go with yet even more on the Final Fantasy XV updates as we have another developer diary to look upon as we wait for any other real update for the game. I'm guessing Square Enix is saving all of those updates for the bigger events and not just lost in the mix of the normal hustle and bustle. Although if you are willing to take the time and watch the latest video you'll be able to spy just a bit more gameplay for Final Fantasy XV mixed in and get all hyped up for the September 30th release date again. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Mighty No. 9 Another trailer for Mighty No. 9 has been released to show off some of Mighty No. 9's special moves, attacks, and combos to pull off Every time I see Mighty No. 9 popping back up in the media it makes me worry that it is going to be delayed yet again. Thankfully though it looks like the June 21st release date that comcept and Deep Silver have set is still on and this is just an update on some other features in the game. So let the celebrating continue as Mighty No. 9 is still locked in and now we just get all kinds of cool things to look at as we head toward that date. Read More...

Hitman Is Heading To Marrakesh Just Before The End Of May
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman The release date for Hitman's third episode as well as a lot of details on the hit have been revealed as Hitman is heading to Marrakesh now It is coming in just under the wire but the third episode of Hitman is coming and coming up fast. It does seem like Io Interactive was pushing it out for as much time as possible but none the less the new episode lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 31st. Literally the last day that it could have and still keep the promise of new Hitman content every month from Square Enix right on par. Right up to the last minute but hey, we get to go killing in Marrakesh now. Read More...

Two More Maps Have Been Added To Umbrella Corps' Arsenal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Umbrella Corps Two more iconic maps have been added to Umbrella Corps and we have a look at a whole lot of bonuses available for Umbrella Corps pre-orders Add two more maps to the list of Umbrella Corps maps that we will get to blast our way through on June 21st. It looks like Capcom has brought back both Raccoon City and the RCP building for us to hunt down and kill each other in when the game launches on the PS4 and PC. As if these two locations would be left out of Umbrella Corps in the first place. Thankfully now we get to see both of them in motion for the first time as we let the anticipation for the game kill us like the zombie hordes will do in the game itself. Read More...

New Vampyr Screenshots Ask 'Who Will You Kill?'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Vampyr New screenshots for Vampyr have been released and they show off the duality of Vampyr's protagonist as every kill will have an effect on the game's world Slowly but surely we are getting to see Vampyr evolve into an amazing looking title. Now we have a whole new batch of screenshots from Dontnod to show off a bit of the game's world as well as some of the choices that Reid has to make in the game. Reid of course being the main character we will be controlling in Vampyr when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2017. Hopefully Focus Home Interactive will be able to get this out the door in the earlier parts of the year but I'm going to guess it will be some time in the middle of the year. Read More...

Overwatch The fourth and final Overwatch animated short has been released to get us all ready for Overwatch's eminent release date here tomorrow Only hours away now and we all will be hoping into the fun of Overwatch. It seems like a long and wobbly ride but we are on the verge of Blizzard's latest title having its full launch and now the anticipation has hit its high as we pre-download everything to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC to be ready to hit the ground running. Of course that means we still have to make it through the day here and thankfully we have a bit more of Overwatch to see just before the long game filled days and nights. They are going to be long and game filled right? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/16/16 — 5/20/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games One more week in video games in the bag and many more to go. Although I have a feeling we are going to be on the lighter side of the news here soon as E3 is rolling in and there will be way more rumors that we can shake a stick at. All that aside though, this one has been fun with all kinds of updates on Final Fantasy XV and Dishonored 2. Not to mention our latest reviews here for Hitman and The Magic Circle. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV's Visuals Are Like Day And Night
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Another new video clip for Final Fantasy XV has popped up this week and this one focuses on Final Fantasy XV's day and night cycle in the game…visually As it turns out we couldn't make it all the way through to the end of the week without yet another Final Fantasy XV video to look upon here. At this rate I am not sure what Square Enix will have left for us at E3 or any of the other events leading up to its September 30th release date. Of course I jest as there is obviously a whole lot more going on in Final Fantasy XV that little clips like this can't fully do it justice but at least now we get to see how the day and night transition cycles happen here.
