All sorts of new information came out and we had a few nice little opinion pieces to think about. Mix in the showcase of both Call Of Duty: WWII and then Injustice 2 and we had a lot to take in. Night Trap Is Getting A Re-Release On The PS4 & Xbox One Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Night Trap Even with the failed Night Trap Kickstarter from years ago, it looks like Night Trap is getting a re-release for the current gen consoles sometime soon Well mark this in one that came out of left field, but it looks like we are getting a re-release for Night Trap only 25 years after it started a weird thing. The weird thing being the ERSB and such but let's skip that and move onto the announcement that Limited Run Games and Screaming Villains are putting the game together again for all of us to enjoy or see what the camp 90's horror game had for us all. I am sure all of you youngling’s here have no clue what Night Trap but it is something to be excited for as it jumps from the Sega CD over to the PS4 and Xbox One sometime soon. Read More...

by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 27th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy VII It looks like Final Fantasy VII Remake & Kingdom Hearts III might miss their projected 2017 release. Sorry Final Fantasy VII fans There are some rumors that have existed for ages. One of which is so old I don’t remember where I read it was that the third installment of Kingdom Hearts would be released in 2013. The other has been around almost as long as I have been alive being that a remake of Final Fantasy VII would be coming. In the past few years these two things have actually been confirmed. Resident Evil 7 Will Be No Hero This Spring But It's Okay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The announced free DLC for Resident Evil 7, Not A Hero, has been delayed but it looks like we will get more top-notch Resident Evil 7 gaming soon Like many other titles that promised something by Spring of 2017, it looks like Resident Evil 7 is going to be added to that list as it seems the Not A Hero DLC has been delayed. Not a huge deal given how well the game and current DLC are going, but none the less it looks like Capcom needs more time for this DLC and we are going to have to wait. How long? Read More...

Watch The Big Call Of Duty: WWII Gameplay Reveal Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The huge Call Of Duty: WWII reveal is finally here. We have you covered with the live stream of the Call Of Duty event The day is here and the time is now for the huge Call Of Duty: WWII reveal that we've all been promised. There have been a few minor "leaks" on things already but nothing too huge for what Sledgehammer Games has put together for us in this new installment of the game. We all know that Call Of Duty: WWII is poised to take us back to the roots of the franchise and it has been a welcomed idea so far since Activision put the teaser out there. None the less, and leaks aside, we still don't know much about this title outside of the given content that comes with every version of the game. Read More...

Let Us Talk About Addiction And Video Games
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 24th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Video Games All of us can be addicted to video games so let's discuss the Neil Robertson case and video games A news story that’s been popping up all day is of former world Snooker champion Neil Robertson’s addiction to video games. Some games like Dark Souls do have a strange addictive tendency with the rewarding sensation giving to a player after a long hard fought victory. I’m not a student of psychology though and this topic has been brought up enough over the years I have looked into it. My conclusion is that it’s not the video games that are addicting; it’s generally dependent on the type of person you are. Read More...

It's The Time Old Fight Of PC Vs Console For Video Games
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 24th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Video Games It's that time-old question of which is better for video games. Let's pro & con their ability to run our video games My original plan for this article was a thorough explanation of pros and cons of our preferred video games platforms. I could never finish it though because at the end of the day gaming is a lot of things but it should be fun first and foremost. Some people like mouse and keyboard over a controller. This doesn’t mean one is better than the other for video games, it just means some people have different tastes. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/17/17 — 4/21/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of 2017's video games in the bag and as it has seemed every week so far, it was a huge one. So many things popped up and so many things have yet to be discussed on the site here. We saw a whole lot more for Injustice 2's fighters, we're getting ever so ready for Prey, There was a whole lot for Friday The 13th, and then we had the Call Of Duty: WWII bombshell dropped. All of which means that next week is going to be pretty much off the hook when it comes to all things video games. Read More...

Call Of Duty Is Going Back To Its Roots With Call Of Duty: WWII
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next Call Of Duty title has been officially announced and we are going back to the franchise's roots with Call Of Duty: WWII Back at the beginning of the year we had a nice little tease on what to expect for the next edition of the Call Of Duty franchise. There was a lot of speculation and thoughts that Sledgehammer Games hid clues in said teaser but it was all guessing and nothing completely solid as of yet. Yet being the key word here as Activision has announced today that we will be getting Call Of Duty: WWII as our next major title in the franchise and that it all will be going back to its roots as it were. I'm guessing just in terms of the era but there could be much more than that I guess. Read More...

Be Careful With Your Little Eyes With What Outlast 2 Lets You See
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 New trailers for Outlast 2 have been released to show just how creep Outlast 2 is going to be as well as how the Trinity bundle will look Gods the wait for Outlast 2 has been a rough one. At least it has been for me as I've been super hyped on the franchise since the first time Red Barrels brought the original to us and then followed up with the Whistleblower DLC. It's been a fun four years for the franchise and now on April 25th Outlast 2 will be hitting our PS4, Xbox One, and PC to continue the horror train for us all. In a new setting and theme of terror, but still somehow in the same vein of it all. Read More...

Let's Dive Into Some Great Combat For The Surge
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Surge We have more gameplay for The Surge and this also gives us all some more of the combat for The Surge just a bit before the game's launch Here we go with more combat for The Surge to get us all ready for its release on May 16th. This is something we've seen a whole lot of over the last few months and weeks as Deck 13 has been showcasing one of the bigger features in the limb severing system they have in the game to make everything insanely deadly. That is at least one of the goals here for The Surge and hopefully it will make more sense when we get the game in our hands as I am still a bit confused on if it is a targeting system or just the luck of the draw kind of system based on where you hit. I'm going to bank on the latter here for now based on what we have here. Read More...

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Shows Some Perfect Gameplay For Upstream
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot More gameplay for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been given out and we get to see how this Crash Bandicoot remaster changes a few things for the better Hopefully by now you've seen plenty of Crash Bandicoot and played a lot of it as well. It was a bit of a staple over the many years that the franchise has been going and everyone who plays games on the regular should have at least given the franchise a try by now. Then again, if you haven't then at least you'll get a chance to when Vicarious Visions brings us the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on June 30th on the PS4. Read More...
