Spider-Man The next big Spider-Man story for the video game universe is now set down with the announcement of Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the PS5 It felt like it was almost a given that we were going to see this on the PS5, but it is official that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is on its way to the console around the same time as launch. Well, that and it is officially announced from Insomniac Games to be another expansion for the PS4 title in the same universe. So, do not think we have a sequel on our hands but more of an expansion to it all with the focus on the Miles Morales Spider-Man and not the core one we knew from that game. Read More...

This would be the eighth full title, even if the numbering is a bit obfuscated, to come to the franchise from Capcom and now we can see what part of those rumors were true or false. Having been able to play a very early slice of Resident Evil Village a while back, I am glad to see what has made it into the game and what might have been left on the floor. Read More...

Here Is A Look At The Dead Island 2 That Is Yet To Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of June 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead Island 2 A leaked version of Dead Island 2 made it out into the world and we can now see where Dead Island 2 could have been taking us in terms of gameplay To say that Dead Island 2 has had a rocky development would feel like an understatement at this point. More so as the last bit of news anyone had out there for the game was that Deep Silver was moving along to a third developer after being originally announced over five years ago at this point. It feels so weird as I fully remember going to media events and sitting through demos for Dead Island 2 so long ago, but at this point, there is no word on if it will ever hit the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Well, maybe we can mark the PC part out of that given that we now have a leaked version of the game out on the web for some to play and post gameplay videos for. Read More...

Iron Man A new behind the scenes video for Marvel’s Iron Man VR gives us a little more insight on how the team is making this Iron Man game fly Some of us out there have a burning desire to know how Marvel’s Iron Man VR is being built and a little more of the process the team went through to get the game to where it is. It will not be for everyone here, but Camouflaj is here to offer up more of that information and fun to keep us looking forward to July 3rd to finally get here. I know I am excited to become Iron Man on the PSVR when that rolls around, but it was also interesting to learn here that it almost never came to be as we see here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/1/20 — 6/5/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this week is over and it was an insane one and not in the way of video games here. We will not dive into that, but given that there were a lot more fluff pieces and only a few updates for titles like The Last Of Us Part II and Godfall, one can get a bit of an idea of it all. That is, if they are not just living in all of the bullshit we have right now. It is what it is and, thankfully, we have our video games to fall back on. Read More...

Review — Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat We sit down and review Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. A new story expansion for Mortal Kombat 11 with other updates. Here is our review it all There have been a whole lot of updates and DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 so far since it first dropped on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Most of which have been character add ons and then the normal tweaks that NetherRealm Studios has to do so they can keep the game balanced and accessible to all fans as things march forward. Most of the time, this is for the multiplayer aspect of the game and not for those that play for the story and lore. The team has done wonders to push that forward in the genre and franchise so far. Necromunda A new trailer for Necromunda: Underhive Wars gives us a little more on the story and how Necromunda is coming into the video game world It has been a good grip of time since we had an update for Necromunda: Underhive Wars and here we go with a new bit of story before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Summer. There is no specific date as of yet from Rogue Factor for it all, but at least we have something to see and get ready for here.
