Become An Agent Of The Inquisition With The Dragon Age: Inquisition Multiplayer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Multiplayer is now a feature in Dragon Age: Inquisition and we have a new trailer to show off how BioWare and EA are implementing it into the game Yea, you read that right; Dragon Age: Inquisition is getting multiplayer mixed into the game. To be honest I am surprised that it took this long to get a multiplayer option into the franchise as it seems like it would be a decent fit. At least that is how I saw it back in the Origins day as the game played a lot like other titles that had a good multiplayer mixed in for the genre. I guess BioWare and EA wanted to make sure the franchise felt different and are just no getting around to adding in a touch of multiplayer. Read More...

If You Haven't Had A Chance To See/Play P.T. Here's What It Is About
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
During Sony's press event at Gamescom 2014 a new IP called P.T. was announced but it was more a tease for Silent Hills Talk about a thrilling and scary title here with P.T. from 7780s Studio. Or as we should all better know it now as Playable Teaser from Kojima Productions. Or as we should all know it even better as Silent Hills from said studio with Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus attached to it as well. Although at its core it is one of the best ways to announce a new title coming to the PS4 from all those great minds and talent. If you have yet to play through the P. Read More...

It's Time To Roll Initiative For Combat In Dragon Age: Inquisition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released showing off all of the facets of the combat system for the game It seems odd to keep talking about it as we've seen it many times before but here is some more on the combat system in Dragon Age: Inquisition. It really seems like BioWare is insanely proud of this system as it is being pushed more than the great story that I've been hearing for the game and other great features. I guess since it is looking like the best version of a D&D video game combat system it is something to be proud of. I just kind of want to move on to something else for the game before it finally lands on November 18th. Read More...

Here Is About Half Of The Dragon Age: Inquisition E3 Demo For You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
If you don't want to rely on second hand impressions, the first half of the E3 Dragon Age: Inquisition demo was released In case my words and off screen footage of the Dragon Age: Inquisition E3 demo did nothing for you let me present you with the first half of said demo in video form. It is a bit different than the one I saw in the fact that the main role being played is a different class but hey, everything else is the same. That and now you don't have to read as many words to get the full experience of what was being shown behind semi-closed doors. Now you only have to wait for the video to buffer and not the hours of wait time to get in to see the demo. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Dragon Age: Inquisition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Dragon Age: Inquisition In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was an award for longest demo at E3 The Phantom Pain would win the gold but Dragon Age: Inquisition is a strong silver medal. A solid 35 minute of the game was shown off in a nice air conditioned booth and it showed everything to how massive the world of the game is going to be, to how your choices will impact more than just the narrative been the physical world as well. That is to be expected though as it is a Dragon Age title though. None the less, let me jump in and tell you want I think of this next installment to the franchise. Read More...

Dragon Age Inquisition Has Some Beautiful Looking Environments Incoming
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A batch of new screen shots for Dragon Age Inquisition have been released showing off the environments of the game. Alright all you who are excited for Dragon Age Inquisition. We have quite a few more screen shots for the game and this time it looks like they are focused more on the environments of the game more than anything. I guess if you also want to get a bit technical too it looks like there is somewhat of a season cycle as well to look at here as well. Main because there is a batch that looks to take place in some frozen landscapes and another set in a more hospitable climate. Read More...

That date is now October 7th on the main current gen and next gen consoles as well as PC for any of those who play games on their major tech devices. No one would ever do that… Not only do we get the release date for Dragon Age: Inquisition here but a good chunk of gameplay to pine over with a mix of story included too. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of January 2014 - 06:54 PM ]
The Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was announced and claimed to be bringing us the next gen Lara Croft on the PS4 and Xbox One. Let's take a look at if they have kept their word. The Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is only about a week away from hitting our "next gen" consoles and giving us not only another title to play on them but a look at what Crystal Dynamics is claiming to be the definitive version of the game. At least to date. There have already been a few comparison videos and images spread out in the ether of the internet but are you not truly interested in what went into making this 'definitive' look? PlayStation 4 Is Getting Real Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of October 2013 - 09:52 PM ]
The PlayStation 4 is even closer to launch now, it's creeping up so fast, and there are already talks about a day one update for the firmware. Not too concerning there as I am sure all of the systems that are being shipped out have been packaged up for a little bit now and the software should be an ever-evolving beast. That's not the main topic here. The main topic is that with the launch coming up one of the 'new' features that we will be allowed to use with the PSN on the PlayStation 4 is the ability to display our real names instead of our gamer handle. Just In Case You Missed The New Tomb Raider Trailer...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of December 2012 - 12:11 AM ]
Did you miss the new Tomb Raider trailer like I did? I'm sure you did as it was being over shadowed during the 2012 VGAs with some video engineer's want to show more of the orchestra than the actual trailer. Good news for you and me then as below we have the trailer that was playing in the background. Just like the screen shots we posted earlier this month it looks spectacular. Especially now that you can see it in one sitting without cut-a-ways to other things that most of us don't care about when looking for new game play for Tomb Raider. Read More...

New Tomb Raider Screens Burning Into My Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of December 2012 - 11:52 PM ]
It's hard to believe that we haven't had anything of worth to write about for the upcoming Tomb Raider re-boot since E3. Yes there has been the announcement of the launch date (3/5/2013) and the collector's edition of the game, but all of the visuals and details of the game have kind of been in hiding. For the most part they still are, but at least we have a few new screen shots to show. One of them kind of shows the weapon progression for the game at that. Read More...

I Wanted To Hire Agent 47 To Go After My Friends But...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of December 2012 - 11:19 PM ]
In the case that you haven't heard about it yet, Square Enix and IO Interactive created a little app that would allow you to place virtual hits on your Facebook friends. All to help promote the amazing game Hitman: Absolution. It has since been taken down with no note if it will be back at this time. "Why was it taken down?" you may be thinking. Read More...
