Things Are A Bit More Mature Than Expected In The Expanse: A Telltale Series
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of July 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
The Expanse A new Redband trailer for The Expanse: A Telltale Series is out there to help bring more gamers into the world of The Expanse The first episode of The Expanse: A Telltale Series is out as of you reading this right now. Not a huge surprise with Telltale Games and Deck Nine pushing it so hard and aiming for a biweekly release of episodes. But, there are still some out there that might not know how dark and mature this story in the The Expanse timeline is going to go. This is what the latest trailer we have here for you is about to show you. Read More...

I Got To Spend 45 (ish) Minutes With Chris Perkins At SDCC
by Thomas Harris [ Monday, 31st of July 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
D&D I was able to check out the Secrets of D&D Dungeon Mastering with Chris Perkins and learned much more about D&D At SDCC this year, I was one of the fortunate folks who got to attend the Dungeons & Dragons wiseman Chris Perkins discussion of how to be a (or be a better) Dungeon Master. I say fortunate due to the line to get in being so vast there are probably still people waiting to get in as write this over a week later. I showed up to Room 29CD for Secrets of D&D Dungeon Mastering with Chris Perkins over an hour and a half early due a combination of being unable to get into a panel on the fungus in The Last Of Us and its likelihood of ever actually happening plus my personal anxiety to never be late to anything. When I arrived, I found a sizeable yet reasonable line. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 1 Gets Some Time Back Into Its Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat One more Mortal Kombat character is back in the mix for Mortal Kombat 1 with Geras getting a debut Just when we thought we were going to have a lull for Mortal Kombat 1, a new fighter comes onto the scene with a smashing new trailer to behold. A new fighter for this entry but one that NetherRealm Studios has already given to us before. Here we go with Geras coming back from Mortal Kombat 11 to show more of what he is made of as well as make sure Lui Kang is keeping the peace as was dictated in some off-screen conversation. That is the long and short of what we have in the story here for this before the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 19th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of July 2023 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, things took quite a bit of a turn with SDCC popping off and keeping the whole team's attention for all things video games and pop culture in general. Thankfully, we were able to hop back in this week, get caught up, and still have more to share for titles like Mortal Kombat 1, Spider-Man 2, and Star Wars Outlaws. That is, we only want to focus on the video games we had the chance to check out and talk about during the event too. Read More...

More Characters Are In Our Blood Out Of SDCC For Mortal Kombat 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat More characters for Mortal Kombat 1 have been announced out of SDCC along with more guest characters coming in for Mortal Kombat 1 In general, SDCC does not feel like the place where new information for Mortal Kombat 1 would have been dropped out there, but gods did we have a massive drop of information out there this year. Quite a bit of stuff that feels like NetherRealm Studios would have given us if the more traditional video game conventions would have been happening, but had to wait until they could pack a room with fans. Not only that, but to make sure we were all excited for that September 19th release of Mortal Kombat 1 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...

The Lamplighters League Lets Us Glimpse Behind The Scenery This October
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of June 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Lamplighters The Lamplighters League is setting out to save the world this October with the full release for The Lamplighters League In the madness of all of the other news flowing out there in the gaming space, we almost missed the announcement that we now know when The Lamplighters League will be hitting the PC and Xbox Series X|S. This feels like it should have been something that Harebrained Schemes should have had out there in the mix of some of the bigger streams trying to promote the number of titles coming to specific platforms, but this one seems to have flown under the radar. Ironically, kind of the deal that The Lamplighters League is all about, though not good for sales. Read More...

Let Us All Get Crafting A Good Story For The Expanse: A Telltale Series
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of June 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Expanse We get to go behind the scenes with The Expanse: A Telltale Series once again with more on the narrative of this part of The Expanse One more behind-the-scenes video for The Expanse: A Telltale Series is out here again to show us how this story is being crafted. Once more with how the narrative of it all is being made for us and trying to keep the same level of quality that Telltale Games has offered up to us all before. There is so much to go with in The Expanse for all of that. Even if this new story that is coming on July 27th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC does take place before the show and uses a character that we all know needs to make it through. The Last Of Us Will Offer Up Some New Terror During Halloween Horror Nights
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of June 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Halloween A new haunt based around The Last Of Us will be at Halloween Horror Nights at the Universal Parks during this Halloween season I do enjoy it when speculation and thoughts of mine come to fruition, as it has now been confirmed that The Last Of Us will have an experience out at the Halloween Horror Nights in the various Universal Parks out there. Those that have been listening along on the Aggrocast could have caught that tossed out there back when we visited the Super Nintendo World as a little speculation, but speculation no more. This Halloween we will be off to an abandoned Pittsburgh to see if we are going to be as lucky as Joel and Ellie as the cordyceps and what has been placed on the Earth will try to stop us all along the way. It Is Time To Find Out More For Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of June 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Hellblade A new tease for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is here with one more look at the insanity Hellblade II will dive into Another big game Xbox Showcase has gone down and it would not be one without seeing a bit of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 mixed right in. Not that Ninja Theory has not already dropped some awesome stuff out there during other gaming events, but it feels like this is going to be one of those need-to-have titles on the Xbox Series X|S and PC when it does land. I still wish that it was not going to be an exclusive on the console side of things given my love of Hellblade before now, but nothing is going to change that any time soon. So, for now, we are going to hop on in and see just what we were offered up out there for this title. Read More...

Set Sail This August With Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of June 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Gambit The release date for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is now set and we have a fun shanty with Shadow Gambit to share In the mix of all of the Summer Game Fest hype, we had the release date slipped out there for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. It has been something that Mimimi Games has felt a little coy about for a while now, but we have a nice time to look at for when we will all be able to set sail for it. Gear up and get your crew ready, even though it will just be you at the command, as Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is setting sail on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 17th, 2023. It is still a little bit of time for us to get it all, but now we have something solid to set on our calendars. Read More...
