Just as last year, The Walking Dead Escape was back with a vengeance at Petco Park during the San Diego Comic Con. For the uninitiated this is an event where a good portion of the sports arena in San Diego was converted into an obstacle course in the theme of AMC's The Walking Dead. It really allows for people to really test their mettle and some of their survival skills to brag that they could survive the initial zombie outbreak. I was lucky enough to get to run the course again this year and what I found interesting was that most people I ran with compared the experience to most of the action zombie video games on the market today. Granted we were not allowed to attack the zombies in the run, but I would have to agree with the sentiment as there has been a push in the industry with Outlast and Dying Light this year. Frankly, I am surprised it took this ling to finally get some Grand Theft Auto V game play. I would have thought it would have been out a few weeks ago, but hey, I'm guessing Rockstar had more important things to deal with. Either way though, here we go. A nice little look at what the game will look like during game play and a bit more into the characters of the world. I do have to say that it looks pretty cool that there will be missions that require you to hop between each PC to get everything done. I would be lying if I said that The Evil Within wasn't the biggest reason for me to go to E3 this year. Between TEW and Murdered I could have left fulfilled early. Even though I didn't get my hands on the game, I was overly impressed with what we were shown during the closed door demo. Here's a bit more on what got my jaw to drop and people screaming in the room. If you are a fan of Resident Evil 4 then you might as well already through your money at TEW. Talk about being tight lipped. While most other larger titles are getting new trailers and information spewed all over the internet leading up to E3 it looks like The Evil Within is holding back. Well holding back a bit as you will see a few "new" screenshots below but nothing new to add to the overall game. By now we all know the premise behind Wolfenstein: The New Order. The Nazis got the bomb first and ended up winning WWII because of it and William "B.J." Blazkowicz, AKA you, are given the orders to try and take down the Nazi powers that be. Standard affair if I do say so myself outside of the super tech that the Nazis have at their disposal. Wouldn't it be fun to step away from that "standard affair" and have a look at what could have been if this was true history? Last year Telltale games received multiple Game Of The Year rewards for their work on their episodic game series The Walking Dead. Now Telltale is returning with their follow up The Wolf Among Us. The Wolf Among Us is based on the Fables comic book series written by Bill Willingham. Fables is about famous fairy tale characters that come to live in our world when their homeland is threatened by an evil entity called The Adversary. The Fairy tales have moved to our world in an attempt to hide from The Adversary and create a safe haven in New York. It's been a while since we've had a good card game on the PSN. Now, after a little over 2 years, we have the sequel to Poker Night At The Inventory hitting the PSN. Last year I skipped it because I thought they were only showing off expansions for Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012. Big news in the world of witty cross-over card game simulators. Telltale Games has recently announced that Poker Night at the Inventory is getting a sequel. According to the Telltale's website, “Poker Night 2 is the unnecessary sequel to Poker Night at the Inventory! In the original game you played poker with a bunch of weirdoes for fame and fortune Team Fortress 2 items and the satisfaction of beating the odds.” The original game had you playing against Max from Sam&Max, Strong Bad from Homestar Runner, The Heavy from Team Fortress 2, and Tycho from Penny Arcade. With PAX East less than a week away let's get a look at everything going down this coming weekend. Firstly, we have the recently re-announced Saints Row 4 from Volition and their new owners Deep Silver. Nothing about this game aside from the release date and a fluff trailer has been shown. What do you expect from the newest installment of the Saints franchise? Personally I expect the game to be even more insane, with hopefully a deeper customization, as I felt Saints Row III pulled back a bit from we had in Saints Row II.
