A release date and pre-order bonus for Mortal Kombat X has been announced and it is looking downright amazing Here we have it, the Mortal Kombat X release date. We now know when we should be getting to get back into the gut ripping action and it is now set for April 14th 2015. At least in the NA region for now but if history serves the EU and other regions should only need to wait a few days until they can have Scorpion or Goro dismembering them limb from limb. Or controlling said characters on their console of choice. Here is our review of Heavenly Sword — The Film When I first heard that there was going to be a Heavenly Sword film I became insanely excited. This is one of my favorite video games to date and just like if there was a God Of War film I would lose my shit and be first in line to check it out. A new trailer for Alone In The Dark: Illumination has been released with a bit of information on the gameplay for this iteration of the game It's been seven years since the last time we were able to be Alone In The Dark, in game terms. Now we have Alone In The Dark: Illumination coming and a brand new teaser for the new and sixth installment to the franchise. This time around using the Unreal 4 engine and including co-op play. We have a slew of new images for The Order: 1886 that show a good look at the gadgets, locations, and creatures of the game Recently it was shown that Nikola Tesla is behind some of the cool things we will get to see and play with in The Order: 1886. Just in case you didn't get a chance to catch all of said things you are in luck as we have a nice smattering of images from the upcoming PS4 title from Ready At Dawn. All of which are supposedly from live gameplay and not pre-rendered goodness. Over the weekend there was a new FAQ posted to the official Rise Of The Tomb Raider Tumblr to try and explain what is going on with the platform exclusivity A few weeks back there was a huge stir as to if Rise Of The Tomb Raider was ever going to see the light of day on anything other than the Xbox One or Xbox 360 come the holiday season of 2015. The announcement of everything sure made it sound like it was not in the books at all that we would get to see the Tomb Raider again on the PS3, PS4, or PC. I didn't disregard the game completely but with the little description I was given it just wasn't something that caught my eye and sucked me in. Both PS3 and PS4 versions of The Last Of Us are receiving new multiplayer maps for free Naughty Dog has announced that their post-apocalyptic hit The Last Of Us will be getting two free Multiplayer maps for factions mode. The free maps are to make good for the long wait times for matchmaking and will be free for both PS3 and PS4 versions. Naughty Dog’s website thanks fans for their patience and says that working on the matchmaking is their number one priority. Matchmaking issues has been eased a bit due to live updates and patch 1. Looks like there will be a season pass for The Evil Within giving us a few interesting ways to play the game When it comes to season passes for games The Evil Within doesn't seem like it would be a title that would have a need for one. Granted, that is looking at most season passes as multiplayer add-ons for games or bonus maps for said multiplayer but that isn't the case here. Don't think that some form of multiplayer has been shoe horned in for The Evil Within when it wouldn't be needed nor wanted for the horror experience.
