Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2017 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Adventure Time A new Adventure Time game has been announced and heading to the high seas this time with Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion coming this Spring I hope you are ready for more adventure and more pirates as Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion has been announced and coming to our PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in Spring of 2018. This is not a continuation of the past games as Climax Studios and Outright Games are aiming to take us to the land of Ooo again with an original story and adventure. Catherine A plethora of new details for Catherine: Full Body have been released and we get a look at the recently added third ‘Catherine’ to the game named Rin Now that we have heard that Catherine: Full Body is coming to the west for the PS4 and PS Vita sometime in late in 2018, all we can do is sit around and wait for any kind of update for the game to see what else Atlus and Studio Zero are going to cram into the game. We know that this is going to be a remaster of sorts from the original version, but we also caught wind that there was going to be a third person in the mix to throw Vincent off. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have wrapped yet another week in video games had had yet more ups and downs as comes with almost every week we have out there. Granted, we did get some great announcements like Catherine: Full Body and Vermintide 2 but they were also followed by delay for Psychonauts 2 and lacking information on many other video games out there that we were hoping to hear about before the end of the year. Catherine The official announcement for Catherine: Full Body is here and it looks like we are getting more of the Catherine fun sometime next winter What was once speculation is no more as Atlus has officially announced that Catherine: Full Body is coming to the west next winter. That may be a bit of a misnomer though as it is more like the game is coming to North America and Europe next winter and not just 'west'. No matter how you want to slice it though, Catherine: Full Body is coming and hitting the PS4 and PS Vita hard with what looks like not only a remaster of the game but a remaster with some added bits in to further expand the oddness of the game and its world. The Forest As the Early Access for The Forest comes to a close, it looks like The Forest is now set to land on other platforms than just PC now We are getting close to the date where The Forest will finally be leaving its Early Access state for those PC gamers out there who are enjoying. It has been close to four years now that Endnight Games has had it in this state but, as they are a small team trying to make a massive open world, survival game it is forgivable. Even more so now that we know The Forest is launching fully in 2018 and now it is leaping to the PS4 as well. The Council A new narrative title, The Council, has been given the announcement treatment with a few twists to the episodic formula to make The Council shine Fans of episodic murder mysteries get ready to add another to your watch list as The Council has been announced to add into the mix and will be bringing all the intrigue you may have been waiting for on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It also looks like history and occult buffs may want to take notice too as Big Bad Wolf is mixing all of that in as it looks like a good period piece with all of those iconic people from 1793 that were "ruling" the world. People like Napoleon Bonaparte and George Washington to namedrop a few, but I am guessing the rest of The Council will be filled with others from around the world during the time as our protagonist looks for his missing mother while trying to navigate all of the social machinations and skills of all of the others at this weird gathering of the minds. South Park The next big DLC for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has dropped and it adds some new challenges throughout the town of South Park If you were not paying attention to South Park: The Fractured But Whole since its launch then you may have missed the fact that the latest DLC for the game has been released into the wilds for us all to partake in. It seems odd that Ubisoft did not have some big build up for the release as they always seem to do, but this is how it is and we can now pick up the Danger Deck DLC on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Friday The 13th All kinds of new things are coming to Friday The 13th: The Game here as the latest update is about to drop for Friday The 13th today…for most A nice big update is coming here today for Friday The 13th: The Game on the PS4 and PC. Sometime soon for the Xbox One crowd out there. This new update is bringing a whole lot of new things that IllFonic has been working on and it will include some items that fans of the game have been hoping for as well as a lot of fun little extras to the game. It is not the new mode that we have been teased with by Gun Media, but we are getting another counselor for Friday The 13th, a raised level cap, the Virtual Cabin 2.0, and the option to play the game offline and all on our own. Wolfenstein The first ‘episode’ of Wolfenstein II’s DLC is here to give us more of the other resistance fighters we have seen or heard of in Wolfenstein II already While I am sure that a good portion of you out there will be checking out Star Wars here, that does not discount the fact that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus's first full DLC "episode" has been dropped out there in the wilds. If anything it will be a nice "go back to" after you get back to your games and have a chance to see how Machine Games is carrying on the continued killing of Nazi Scum with the previously mentioned Gunslinger Joe. The Inpatient A new behind the scenes video for The Inpatient is here to show us just how much further into the experience The Inpatient will take us besides just VR It is no surprise that games like The Inpatient are aiming to give us all the best immersion that we can hope for on the PS VR. That is kind of one of the things that VR is all about, but it looks like there was a lot more for this game than Supermassive Games had to show earlier on. At least out of the demos I have played, but come January 23rd it looks like we are all going to have even more reasons to give The Inpatient a go as they have many other hidden gems mixed in to bring the immersion level to an all-time high. Shadow Of The Colossus We have a new comparison video for Shadow Of The Colossus to show just how much work the remaster of Shadow Of The Colossus has been given More footage for Shadow Of The Colossus has been placed out there and placed out there to make sure that we all know how much work Bluepoint Games has put into making this the best version of the game to date. That would have always been the assumption for a remake or a remaster of any game, but now we get to see it all with our own eyes. The Walking Dead New updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead are finally here and we get a taste of what life in this FPS set in The Walking Dead universe will feel It has been quite some time that we had any updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead title that we heard about back in 2015. It is still in the works and Starbreeze with 505 Games is still bringing it to us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All of that and Overkill is still working hard on it and is finally ready to show off more of their take on The Walking Dead universe. All in a cinematic way, but given that the game is now slated for Fall of 2018, we still have some time to get all of those extra details and bit of gameplay to get us all excited for this game. Witchfire A new title form The Astronauts is in the works called Witchfire and not much is known about what Witchfire actually is as of yet Just in case you were sitting around wondering what The Astronauts have been up to as of late, we have the answer to that and it is working on Witchfire. Yes, that is the name of their new game that is in the works for the PC and a good portion of what we know about the game so far. Outside of the short trailer that was shown off during The Game Awards, that gave us all a small look at what we could expect.
